How to create end user login page in WordPress? - wordpress

I am new to WordPress. Help me create end user login page. I have created and site with a theme. My requirement is to create a login page for the site not for the dashboard.
Only if they login, they should be able to access other pages
I need lo add an sign in page for the site, and then user should visit be able to visit these pages

If you are looking to have login form on front end then there are multiple plugins available out there. Checkout UserPro plugin.
Also Free plugin like 'Theme My Login (TML)' can be used to provide login functionality on front end. These are just examples, there are many others as well.
Let me know if this helps or feel free to discuss more in details.

This is very well possible. You can even do this without any advanced coding skills, but it requires some (very popular) plugins.
Use the 'sidebar login widget' to let people login on any part of your website and use 'login redirect' to send them to a specific private(!) page, based on their role.
I can recommend the 'TML plugin', Faisal suggests, to make the experience even more polished. Additionally you can use the 'User role editor' to customize your roles and/or create new ones.
Sidebar login: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sidebar-login/
Login redirect:

TML plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/
User role editor: https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/

Its Very Simple Just Search for Login box in Plugin > add New and Install the plugin.
after put the code where you want to show the login box.
you will find the code in plugin setting.

One of the best ways to quickly mod any theme is to get membership plugin or users add-on plugin. They usually have the basic stuff like login register customisation and my accaunt page.
Try https://wordpress.org/plugins/users-ultra/ but in your case maybe it will be an overkill.

you can also modify your plugin file name form-login.php in wp-conttent/plugin/templates

Similar to Theme My Login, ProfilePress is another great option. They even have an article on creating a custom login page. And it's a completely free plugin available in the WordPress plugin repo.

Since wordpress is an blogging framework we can use it for blogging purpose efficiently.. For building custom sites with javascript functionalities you have to edit index.php and header.php under your theme and then add your custom code.
To be short wordpress does not provide any end user login for site by default, only some of the paid theme supports that

can someone pls help me to find out opensource drupal themes which has user login options and file upload

i have browsed through a few themes but culdnt find any.can someone pls help to find out drupal themes which has user login options , am trying to build a site where users can have their own account and upload their files whenever they want.
is it possible to use any theme and add login plugin but am doubtful that if i use login or user file upload plugin i may feel difficulties in customizing it.
Theme with login & file upload functioanlities. like this
http://www.themesnap.com/premium-drupal-themes/droupon.html
Themes are (usually) only styling front-end of your site. Drupal by default (must) have users system login/registration form and all other functionality related to users.
When you activate your new theme logout and go to page "/user" to see your loging form. There are also "/user/register", "/user/password" and some other related with user account functionality.
Will your custom theme also style login/registration/pass forgot forms (pages) or not - that's another question. But they will definitely exist. But even if they are not styled you can put on your own some extra CSS to style them.
For Drupal 7 file field is already included in basic installation (for D6 you have to install extra module for that: https://www.drupal.org/project/filefield ).

Custom Login and Registration for new WordPress users

I'm fairly new at WordPress, therefore hopefully someone will find it easy enough to share a few minutes of their time assisting me. Basically, I was trying to implement custom registration into my new WordPress install. After struggling for a while, I came by the BuddyPress plugin, which seems to be absolutely amazing, except for one thing - while the registration works perfectly well, in order to login you apparently either need to have a wordpress account (there's the wordpress logo, etc). Would there be any hints on what actions could I take now ?
You could use WordPress with both the BuddyPress and Theme My Login plugins. This would let you completely customise the login and registration pages of WordPress.
This IMHO is the classic online tutorial for customised login/register/password retrieval for Wordpress.

Access wordpress admin area without login

Currently I am developing a site in Opencart. For the blog, I am using Wordpress but my client does not want two different login sections for opencart and wordpress. Is it possible to redirect a user from the admin of wordpress to OpenCart and vice versa using a link without them having to enter a password each time?
Please advise. Your valuable suggestion will help me to sort out this problem.
This is possible by adding a simple plugin, which defines the needed (pluggable) login functions.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Pluggable_Functions
Basically, rather than logging into WP directly, you'd write the pluggable functions that authenticates the user using OpenCart's details. (Note that hooks allow you to make the login form redirect straight to the latter, too.)
Look for an existing plugin or module that does this. It would be surprising if none exist already.

wordpress user registration/profile plugin

I am trying to make a wordpress site which will allow users to register by themselves and log into the site and have a profile. IS there such a plugin that will allow me to incorporate this into my site? I have looked around and being that I have very little experience with making sites/wordpress I have decided to ask some experts.
I know with wordpress you get a "blog" sort of site, but i'm hoping that if the plug-in i'm looking for exists then I can make my site to look different. The reason I am asking for each individual member to have their own "profile page/ private page" is because I want to be able to upload data to their specific pages and they should be able to see the data without seeing others'.
Thanks for any and all help you can provide me.
If I can't find a suitable solution, I will try to build a site with joomla, I had gone with wordpress because I had heard that it was easier to use.

Wordpress site user accounts

I am new to web development. I am trying to build a site using wordpress as a cms. As such i want to know whether there is any way to create user accounts, so that people can register with the site and login. We would have an online store and we would like users to be able to save and view orders.
I have seen buddy press, but it only works with some themes. Is there any other option available?
Thanks in advance,
cpv
You can add one of the free plugins such as "Login Logout". This is the one I am currently using and it lets new users register for accounts.
You need to search for it in your plugins tab in wordpress, then install and activate it. Then you need to go to your Widgets tab and include it. Then it should run on your website.
Yes, Wordpress has user management, I suggest you play around with wordpress to understand how it works. Download a few e-commerce plugins or user management plugins and see how it all works.
Buddy press just uses the same user management that wordpress has.
I'm sure the wordpress documentation is a good place to look for more information.
