I had setup Maximo Anywhere 7.6 in our landscape to test the standard apps provided by IBM.
I had tested couple of apps successfully but have some or the other issue with the other apps. The issues are more or less with the apps becoming hung at a screen.
Issues And Returns App -> When opened the Storeroom list to select a store room, the app is stuck at the screen. I'm unable to select a value and also not able to return to the home screen.
Inspection -> When an update is made on the Workorder (Like adding a Worklog or status change etc), the app stucks showing the Loading icon. It doesn't respond at all.
I have similar issues when testing the Transfers app, Physical Count app as well.
Anyone encountered similar issues? If yes, is there any resolution available?
Device Used: ASUS Nexus 7 (2013)
Apps built for API Level 19
Tablet OS: Android Lollipop
Regards,
Karthik
We know about the Inspection app hang on status change and have an IFix available but the others are new to me. Can you please open a PMR with our support team to track?

I have a new iPad Air 2 running iOS 8.1 that I am using to test my app.
The call to URLForUbiquityContainerIdentifier never returns.
I installed iOS 8.1 on my iPhone 5s and everything works as expected.
I am thinking there may be a bug in iOS 8.1 for the iPad Air 2 but I am not sure. I noticed that in Settings for iCloud that Documents and Data wasn't even listed, and I signed out and signed back in and Documents & Data showed up in settings. That leads me to believe that this might be an iOS bug.
But in case it is not, is anyone else had the call to URLForUbiquityContainerIdentifier never return? If so, what did you do to fix it?
This is a Core Data app using iCLoud storage for an sqlite data store.
I call ubiquityIdentityToken before and it retuns a non-nil value, so iCloud is available.
NSURL *cloudStoreURL = [fileManager URLForUbiquityContainerIdentifier:#"XXYYZZ.com.yourcompany.appname"];
A user emailed me and said it suddenly started working for him. I just ran my app with no changes and everything works as it should. I do not know why it is working, but something changed somewhere, my guess is Apple changed something.
I've seen the same issue recently for one of my apps. It never occurred directly for me but it has occurred for Apple during the review process. However, it happened only for one of my apps. A second app with the same code never showed the issue for myself or for Apple. I have contacted DTS regarding the problem. If I get a solution I'll post it here.
I've deployed an Android app that interfaces with the Sony Smartwatch 2, and generally, it's working well. However, I have a user reporting that when he uninstalls the app from his phone, the watch component is not uninstalled.
I understand that the un/installation of the two should be linked, and in my testing (and for most of my users), that works fine. What might this user try to force the app to uninstall from the watch?
The user could be right. I've observed the issue only once for ca. twenty (20) installing/uninstalling rounds. However I did not found the way to reproduce it and I can't state what circumstances can cause such behaviour.
Did you've got information from the user on what phone, Android release, Smart Connect or SmartWatch 2 software version this issue occurred?
The only thing he can do to remove Wearable Widgets instance from SmartWatch is to reset the watch (Settings -> Reset SmartWatch).
I have a webapp that I created well over a year ago, and running on iOS 6, it's been rock solid. It's designed to work offline and online, from the same home screen icon. I've got a manifest file that loads up the bootstrap javascript, all the js includes, and the core files. The app is designed to store data while offline (using SQLite) then transfer anything in the offline queue to a MySQL database once online. And again, all this was working on iOS 6 with absolutely no changes whatsoever to any of the files, the manifest, etc. for months.
Then I upgraded to iOS 7.
Now I have a host of problems, but they all seem to revolve around database issues. I'm getting a lot of code 6 errors in Chrome (in Safari, I get nothing, just a blank screen). In my reading up on this I found that Apple did make some sort of change to how SQLite runs, but not being an xcode developer I don't have access to the materials on Apple's site, and since I'm not running xcode in any case I don't know if that even applies to my purely HTML app.
My question, then, is this: with whatever changes Apple made on the app side, is there anything that would have affected the functionality of a pure HTML5/JS/SQLite offline web app, bookmarked to the home page via Safari?
IOS 7 limit browser DB size from 50MB to 5MB , is that the reason ? Also I met a end user turn on Private Browsing in their IPAD , also could cause this trouble, hope that helps.
you can check this :http://www.mobilexweb.com/blog/safari-ios7-html5-problems-apis-review
I figgured it out. When you enter safari, a little button on the top left on the keyboard says "private", click it to disable it. The database will work fine. But! jquery mobile will not be able to use the back button. For this, you have to delete appcache from your code. jquerymobile 1.4 will fix this, but for now you will have to live without appcache!
By some mysterious reasons I got myself a jailbroken iPhone 3GS from a vendor whom I am finding difficult to track.
My task is to test out in app purchase functionality on it.
Currently it has iOS 5.0.1 with cydia installed.
No, it does not have Appsync.
I am installing my build through testflightapp API which works without issues with my app so far.
However when I initiate in app purchase, I don't get anything in response.products so far.
I have added productIDs and all in itunes-connect already, checked twice that they are fine, since 48 hours.
I tried testing with iPhone simulator 5.1, but all I got was no values from storekit. I would love to hear if there is any workaround with simulator.
Worked around this finally - deleted my app from itunes connect, re-added it.
It complained about name being already used.
I changed the language of name. And it worked.
Maybe, my prior app setup was right, but I had something else messed up.
In between, I rejected my app. That maybe one of the reason behind this issue.
Lesson?
Don't developer reject your app.
Allope,
I've recently bough Flex Builder 3 and I am completely dissatisfied with its reluctance to debug. It manages to debug a few times, but after that, it just doesn't want to "connect to the debugger".
Help?
There is no easy fix for this. You now have to join the rest of us waiting for Adobe to update Flex Builder with a fix they say they have.
You can find the long sad story here: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FB-16153:
Basically, this is an issue that has been around for months. Adobe says it has a fix - however - they've not released that fix yet. Adobe reports it's a threading issue...
For the rest of us (waiting for this) - if you need to move forward you can:
A) Live with the problem (painful)
1) Note that in the bug text there are several attempts to work around this - sometimes people find ways to soften the issue - but no one reports a full fix
2) Note that people trying the LocalHost fix - sometimes report a gain in productivity - but in most cases they do not.
B) Switch SDKs from 3.2 (or 3.3) to 3.1 ---- No one knows why - but it fixes the problem (you can then include the SWFs you need for 3.2 directly
C) Develop on Mac [Not a smart ass answer - honestly - for whatever reason this bug is not on Flex Builder for the Mac]
Join the bug discussion - on Adobe's site - it's still active as people are still waiting for the fix.
Make sure you have the required Flash Debug Player.
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
If that doesn't help, you might have to re-install Flex Builder.
Are you running it on windows vista? It may be this issue:
http://blogs.msdn.com/expression/archive/2009/03/16/page-cannot-be-found-issue-when-previewing-via-expression-blend.aspx
The page is about silverlight, but I ran into the same issue a while back with the flex debugger, and had to add the following to my host file (which windows defender removed):
127.0.0.1 localhost
This is expanded more upon here:
http://circstar.com/FlashLabUnderground/?p=64
I've had similar problems but every-time it refuses to connect to the debugger i have justed downloaded and reinstalled the flash debugger and it works fine. It's a pain but until adobe do anything what can we do?
Have you the tried FlashDeveloper ide? you can build flex project with it and it quite frankly alot better than flex builder for code writing (not ui work).
Hope this helps
Jon
I'm not sure if you have the same symptoms, but I came across a similar problem on one of our development machines after installing Flex Builder 3. When trying to run our app in debug mode, flex builder took a long time to launch the app and eventually timed out, displaying some message about not being able to connect to the debugger.
I found this solution which worked a treat. While Flex Builder is trying to launch the app:
Go to the browser page containing your app/swf, right-click on the swf to bring up the flash context menu.
Select Debugger
Select Other Machine
Enter 127.0.0.1 in the text field
Click Connect and hopefully it works.
NB: If Flex Builder tried to launch the app in Firefox, the page never appeared. It was only when it launched in Safari that I was able to access the browser page and the flash context menu.
