I'm having trouble with setting up ACORE API's and then having them work on a website.
Background:
Azerothcore running 3.3.5 on a debian standalone server, this has the Database, Core files and runs both the world and auth server basically a standard setup that is shown in the how-to wiki.
I also have a standalone web server, on the same subnet, but it's a separate server running linux and normal web server stuff, this has a wordpress installation with azerothcore plugin for user signup etc.
I'm trying to add the player map (https://github.com/azerothcore/playermap) and the ACORE-API set of functions (server status, arenastats, BG que and wow statistics) (https://github.com/azerothcore/acore-api)
Problem:
I understand the acore-api must be run in a container (docker or whatever) on the server, which I have done and it binds to port 3000, I can then go to the local ip:3000 and it brings up this error. (all db's etc are connecting and soap is working)
error 404 when navigating to IP:3000
I do get a few errors when running NPM install seen here: I'm not sure if they would be causing any issues or not.
screenshot of NPM errors on install
But further that, when I put say 'serverstatus' on the webserver (separate server) and configure the config.ts file I can't seem to get anything to display.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but is the same scenario for all of the different functions for the acore-api
How are these meant to be installed and function? I feel I'm missing a vital step.
Likewise, with PLAYERMAP I have edited the comm_conf.php and set the realmd_id, but when loading the page, I do get the map, but the uptime is missing and no players are shown?
Could someone assist if possible?
Seems like an issue with NodeJS version. Update your NodeJS to latest LTS version 16.13.0 (https://nodejs.org)
TCP connections work fine as I am able to converse with someone over zoom and teamviewer. However, whenever I attempt to access another webpage, I get a network error. Google seems to work fine for some reason but any webpage I go to listed by Google fails to connect. The only way I can open up my http connections is by ending a task called "init" inside of task manager. This shuts down my vscode as well as my ubuntu terminals I have running. If someone knows the solution please do tell. It's really annoying having to close out my vscode and terminals as well as my local servers to look up information and debug.
I found a fix to this issue.
So I was running a Windows Subsystem for Linux and my Windows Build was outdated as well as WSL. When I updated Windows and upgraded to WSL2, my issue was resolved and I don't seem to get any more network errors.
I'm trying to pump a spring-boot app metrics to elasticsearch using Httpbeat ,I'm following this https://aboullaite.me/spring-boot-elastic-kibana/ ,I'm struggling to install httpbeat into my windows machine I installed Go ,but I'm stuck at the glide installation, is there any alternative that I can use rather than HTTPbeat ,And if you know a clear method rather than the official documentation please help me, I have a demo the next Monday and I'm fully stuck
Try docker install for httpbeat. Go to https://github.com/evanhoucke/httpbeat for more info. Use the docker image evanhoucke/httpbeat.
I am working on Apache Cordova Win 10 Windows-x86 Store app for the data exchanging with the microcomputers collecting measurements, connected entirely to a local network.
I tested this app with capability "PrivateNetworkClientServer" and
deployed it in a form of "*.appx" package. It is working.
But "PrivateNetworkClientServer" capability is forbidden for Windows Store
with the setting in "package.windows10.appxmanifest" as this:
"uap:Rule Match="ms-appx-web:///" Type="include" WindowsRuntimeAccess="all" "
I have tried to change this setting or remove it (by default WindowsRuntimeAccess="none"),
but after running "build" this part of manifest was returned to its initial state.
How to configure my app with capability "PrivateNetworkClientServer" and keep
possibility to pass "WACK" test.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you.
To have access from my Win Store App to web API in the local network I am using the "Fiddler4" exemption for now, but still hope to find more simple solution. The same Cordova app, but built with Visual Studio for Android, works in the same local network without any quirks.

I am using college network behind a proxy server, could that be a problem ?
any suggestions ? Does anybody know where I am going wrong ?
Quickest way to troubleshoot this - on the browser window that houses the broken terminal, do a view source. In there you'll find a URL direct to your console proxy server. Copy and paste that URL into a new window and see if you can hit it directly. I'm guessing a firewall issue...
