I am not able to search the text directly from the Search Box of Magnolia Admin-central.
For Example I need to search specific style(class names.. etc) from the css files which are available in App STK/Resources/Themes/css. How can we do it directly?
Magnolia Version :5.3.9.
Is it available for Latest versions of Magnolia?
Thanks,
Vijay Kodali.
Seems to work just fine for me. ("textColor" is inside of the using-freemarker.css file) Double check that you don't have any error in the logs or that your index is not corrupted. AFAIK you can search only for whole words not partial text.

Imagine I have a huge CSS file with e.g. more than 40000 lines, like https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/semantic-ui#2.4.2/dist/semantic.css
I want to explore this file and for example search for class definitions containing "hidden" in their name. How can this be done? The word "hidden" can also appear in the definition of the class, so a normal text search is not sufficient. So I am looking for a tool which is able to interpret the CSS file and then allows me to semantically search in it, understanding the difference between "hidden" in a class name and "hidden" in a class definition.
Any tips on this? Thanks!
Update: I am using Visual Studio Code, if there is a matching extension for it, that would be great. A separate tool would also be fine.
I’m not sure which text editor/IDE you are using but most IDE’s allow you to search for classes by name, in which case you could just use “hidden” as the input. In IntelliJ, the command for this is Ctrl+N. You’ll have to check your editor or IDE for the shortcut but a simple Google search should give you the answer.
I am helping out a friend with a slow WP. I installed hummingbird and it's telling me that some css files are slow to load (for example: https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/gsap/1.11.2/TweenMax.min.js - it takes 390ms to load). I would like to store this file locally and see if the performance improves. The problems is that I'm not sure about how to locate the file that is actually requesting this css file. Any help is appreciated.
I suggest a sweet plugin I use called String locator. It will search the whole site for a string like TweenMax.min.js. It will also search by plugin. When it find it it gives options to edit straight to the file. Hope this helps.
I am semi new to Aptana Studio 3. I have been using it for a couple months now, and I just saw a video tutorial where a guy typed in html:5 in a blank file, and it populated it with the HTML doc tag, header info, etc..
Is this a plug-in for aptana? or does it come with it out of the box... I tried typing it in a blank file, but nothing happened.
Seems pretty neat and fast!
Perhaps you are referring to zen-coding at:
http://code.google.com/p/zen-coding/
There is a plugin for Eclipse/Aptana.

I want to update a background image in google code projects.I searched their wiki, it talks about pointing image to an external world. Is there anyway we can upload the image to google code and provide a link?
I got the solution.First you need to upload the image to 'Download' area. After that, give the image url like this.
<img src="http://yourgoogleproject.googlecode.com/files/name of your image.PNG" alt="Logo"/>
You have to paste the above code inside apostrophe(') and end with apostrophe and can paste this in project description of your project summary tab.(I have just added here, in my case)
The file uploaded will go under 'files' folder of your project automatically.
This answer is no longer correct. Google Code removed the downloads option in May 2013, due to misuse. You can, as they suggest, move your files to Google Drive and link to them from there, which is fine for project downloads, but for items such as images in wiki pages or the project home page, I recommend checking the images into your source repository and linking to them. For example, ig you use a mercurial repository and your files are checked into docs/images, then:
http://yourproject.googlecode.com/hg/yourproject/docs/images/logo.png
should work.
I want to display a word Document, which is sitting on my IIS. I want to display the whole document as is, inside a iFrame on my aspx page.
I know I can use MS Word Libs, but I cannot install Word on Server where application will be hosted, (Correct me if I am wrong: I cannot use just dlls without installing MS Word on Server).
How can I display the word document in my iFrame?
Probably the easiest way would be to include the Google Docs Viewer.
Other ways could be to use Aspose.Words (commercial) to convert Word to PDF and then use Aspose.Pdf.Kit to convert PDF to images and then display the images online.
PowerTools for Open XML contains an open source, free implementation of a conversion from DOCX to HTML formatted with CSS. The module HtmlConverter.cs supports all paragraph, character, and table styles, fonts and text formatting, numbered and bulleted lists, images, and more. See http://bit.ly/1bclyg9
