Wordpress Dashboard layout broken - css

I have latest v4.3. The same happens in Chrome on my Mac... it happens once I start moving the mouse over links on the left.
I tried with WP 4.1.7 and 4.2.4 and it was the same...
It doesn't seem to happen in Safari, not sure about FF, I think it happened but now it doesn't..
How to solve this issue?

Chrome 45 has a rendering bug.
If you want to fiddle with internal settings, there is a workaround just posted here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/bug-broken-dashboard-layout
I personally will wait until Chrome 45+ and edit in FF from now on.

Firefox background-image disappear after switching tabs

I have some very weird issue with firefox while rendering background-images. I'm not sure if it's a firefox bug or simply my fault.
Every time I open my project site in firefox all background images are loaded and displayed correctly. After I switch to another tab and switch back after a while all background images disappeared. I checked the network analysis tab in the developer tools and all files are loaded correctly. Also in some situations parts of the images appear after I select some text over it. After parts of a second all the images show up. So I assume it's a rendering bug in firefox.
My images are implemented like:
background-image:url("path/to/image.png");
background-size:cover;
background-position:center center;
Is there a workaround for that bug? Is that even a bug? Can anyone confirm that? I searched the web and I couldn't find anything...
I came across this bug after a long day of experimenting with CSS background images and radial gradients for a site of mine before I eventually realised this was a bug in Firefox and not my CSS. The bug is now confirmed to have been fixed in Firefox 76, which is scheduled for release to the Stable channel on May 6. To get hold of Firefox 76 before May 6, go here to download the 76 Beta and switch to the Beta channel. Just don't forget to switch back to the Stable channel when Firefox 76 is eventually released on May 6.

Site Crashing IE8 - forcing it into compatibility mode

Site: http://www.mccaonline.com
I have recently been working on the site MCCAOnline.com and are running into several issues specifically in Internet Explorer 8. When I try to load the site in IE8, it crashes and reverts to compatibility mode. I looked around extensively online and it seems like some people had run into issues with the respond-ie.js file. I moved this to the bottom of the page to no avail.
In compatibility mode, the following issues occur:
1) The footer elements stack on top of each other
2) The navigation drop down does not work
Additionally, there is a white margin on the right hand side of the page. I am not sure what is causing this or whether it's related to the IE8 bug, because it's appearing in all browsers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
best,
clint
I use IE8 on XP SP3 with full update, and it's not crash.
Do you update the newest version of IE8?

IE9 border issue (a kind of gradient on top and bottom)

I've updated my IE to IE9 and I've noticed the borders everywhere are not been rendered as well. I don't really not how to explain it.
Using Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Safari on this page - http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp - I can see the borders very well, but on IE9 I see those as the image.

I've been researching a little about it, but seems no one else has a similar problem :( Any idea why this could be happening? On other PC's (friends, office) I don't see this problem on IE9, may be something wrong in my settings?
Window 7
Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421
Thanks in advance,
Regards.
Go to Settings (Gear icon) -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab. The first item in the list will be the checkbox entitled Use software rendering. Check (or un-check, if it is already checked) it, restart IE and see if there is any difference.
If it helps, try updating your graphics card driver and re-enabling hardware acceleration in IE.

css rollover buttons- great in safari,and firefox/ ie but not chrome?

i've been trying out a bit of code posted to make image rollover buttons using only css,
this seems to work fine.
local testing showed no problems, IE, Firefox, safari all ok. even chrome displays as intended on the local version.
Once i move to a hosted test, IE, Firefox and Safari all display as intended but chrome offsets all the buttons right about 8-10 pixels.
here's the test page

can anyone enlighten me as to what's happening?

I assume you're referring to the squares under the "architectural design..." phrase.
I can't recreate this problem in Chrome v5.0.375.125.
What version of chrome are you using? Chrome tends to doggedly cache resources. Have you tried a cache refresh?
What version of Chrome are you using? I looked at your site in Chrome 5 and can't seem to tell a difference between any of the browsers you've mentioned.
