I'm implementing a fundraising plugin in my Wordpress crowd funding website. And the guide says I need to sign-up in the https://www.x.com/developers/paypal site so that PayPal knows mine's not a scam site and legitimately processing delayed payments (advanced crowd funding).
However the site seems to be not existing, any help? Thanks
Here's the link of the Fundraising plugin I'm using: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/fundraising/?rtruste=1&https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/fundraising/?rtruste=1&utm_expid=3606929-46.O3zA8dlfQ7OjzdOy6sld8g.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com
x.com has transitioned over to https://developer.paypal.com/

I'm developing a WordPress website and finding myself stuck at a point. I have made several e-commerce sites and blogs but haven't really made this type of website.
This is an educational website. I'd like to know how can I implement the following workflow.
1- Someone comes and registers themself.
2- Pays a specific amount.
3- After the confirmation of the amount, he will be redirected to all the resources.
I'm actually done with the registration process, now I'd like to know how can I do the /2 and /3.
If there are any free or paid plugin which offers this workflow, please mention.
You can use Gravity forms (https://docs.gravityforms.com) to display the payment options. This can be used along with a customizable payment plugin (preferably with Gravity Forms integration) that will allow redirection to the required resources on payment confirmation, similar to this plugin offered by Novalnet.
I have created a blog a few weeks ago and have started to add posts about SQL-Server (Tips For DBs).
Very quickly I started to receive new suscribers (New User Registration) and now I have already 175.
But... it is very strange because I also have activated at the beginning the Google Analytics and I see just 1 or 2 visits per day, reflecting a total of 13 different users that have accessed the blog.
Anyone has an idea of what is happening?
How is possible that there are so many people suscribing the Blog that have never accessed it?
The blog has been created as an standard WordPress in a hosted domain. Just installed WordPress and activated some Plug-Ins: AddToAny Share Buttons, Akismet Anti-Spam, Goolytics - Simple Google Analytics, SpiceBox (Template) and Gutenberg.
For Goolitics, I just set the code that Google Analytics shows. That's all, no code, just that plug-ins and a few posts.
Akismet will help you in reducing the SPAM comments and not the users creation. As per Akismet "Akismet is a spam fighting service that protects millions of WordPress sites from comment and contact form spam."
Adding and configuring following plugins will help you reduce the number of SPAM registrations
Email Verification on Signup https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-verification-on-signups/
User Verification https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-verification/
Google ReCaptcha https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-captcha/
WP Approve Users https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-approve-user/
From the plugins list it seems there are no Web Application Firewall - Security plugins in place, It is highly recommended to use the security plugins on WordPress.
I'm trying to create a webpage on Wordpress website, where a potential donor can write their name, contact details and the amount (in USD) that they would like to donate.
Once the user clicks on the Donate button, they should be able to make the donation through CCAvenue Payment Gateway.
The problem is, none of the solutions that I have found so far tell me how can I keep the field of Donation Amount open to the user and how can I send these variables to CCAvenue API.
Any suggestions on how to do it, would be greatly appreciated.
I am also trying to do the same I found one cool plugin which is GiveWP you can create a donate forms and integrate plenty of payment gateway addons, including the CCAvenue Gateway addon.
Check it out here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/give/
Hope this helps you :)
I am looking for a theme for forex trading website. Where customer can sign up for paid membership and receive reports daily.
I want a theme which can deal with basic front end design (Company information based home page, about us, contact, blog) and users can signup and login there account. While at back end I can manage accounts and update reports daily.
What you're asking for can be accomplished many different ways, so you'll need to explore what works best for you and your particular skill set. Here's my take in things though.
I would likely go about this with WooCommerce and their StoreFront theme. Storefront is very generic looking out the the box which makes it very customizable. It doesn't have to look like a site that sells t-shirts.
WooCommerce is free and very actively supported. They also off an extension for paid memberships, which it sounds like you'd be interested in.
I hope this info helps give you some direction.
I have a client that has an e-commerce site using Drupal 6.16.
When they discontinue a product, they change the product to unpublished which then returns a 403 error for the average user and Google. This obviously isn't the best option for SEO.
What have people done in similar situations? I was thinking of using the CustomError module to redirect them to a category page or similar, but that effects all 403's on the site and briefly stopped access to the admin of the site.
Thanks!
The best would likely to keep the products published, disabled buying (depending on the e-commerce module/solution) and update the description with reference to a replacement product and/or information about the discontinuation. This way existing links to the discontinued products will still work, and link to relevant and precise information. Which is the best SEO you could have.
