I converted swf files from my static html website into html5 with swiffy. But I don't know how to insert them in webpage so that they look exactly like swf files. I used iframe but it makes block of inserted html5 file instead of merging it with background color.
Please check original website

I am currently trying on its white logo.

I have a static web page that displays icons embedded in one of the css references. The icons are not displayed properly and we see some junk characters instead when browsed to from IIS. The same web page when opened directly in the browser seems to render fine. I wonder if it is some misconfiguration in the static page website but I am unable to figure out what the issue could be. Would greatly appreciate any help to solve this issue.

Looks like the CSS file is the issue.

If you use extended styles and sass syntax, when SASS does the compression, it changes Font Awesome characters from escaped ASCII sequences to unicode. So you need to add <meta charset="utf-8" /> in the head to let the browser know how to interpret it.
My css only works when I open it with live-server. I didn't realized it until I tried opening the file
of my projects. The JS functionality is there, but my project is just stale, just black and white. I'm using sass and live-sass compiler. And also using a map api leaftlet and open weather api. SO please help,
cannot seems to figure out why my css is not present when I open my project on file or in another browser.
I have seen through your file and I think your issue is your image hasn't been loaded.
You have an image of the starry sky, right? You can only see the black and white page with some icons after the search because your image hasn't been loaded.
As you access the page by opening the file, the image URL in your CSS file is the path relatives to the current CSS file, which means the URL should be ../image/night.jpg.
If you access the page through the live server, that URL is the path relative to your host.
Hope that I understand your problem correctly. I am still learning too :)
Can anyone please help me. Am using adobe captivate 9. I have a content with image that exceeds the slide spacing, i want to set this content within the page using scroll. I have tried using text-scroll widget but i cant add images to it.
Put the image into an MS Word document and save it as an HTML web page. The result will be an HTML file and folder named "[file name]_files" in whichever folder you saved it to.
Select both the HTML file and the folder, right click, and choose Send to -> Compressed (zipped) folder in the context menu.
Dragging that ZIP folder directly onto your Captivate slide will create scrolling HTML Web Object based on the formatting of the MS Word file. It will show up in your Library in the "Web" folder.
Unfortunately, this is a feature that is missing from Captivate. The best solution I've found is to make an html file that includes the text and points to the image, then zip and import as an HTML5 Animation.

Add the following code anywhere in the body of your HTML document to embed a music file and play it automatically when a visitor browses your website.
<audio src="music/yoursongname.mp3" autoplay="autoplay" loop="loop"></audio>
Change the "src" attribute so that it contains the path and filename of the music file that you want to embed.
Note: Add the "loop" attribute if you want the music file to play over and over
I have an iframe in my HTML, where i would like to play mpeg/mpg files from local folder, but i can't load the video into the iframe. when i set src="http://www.google.com", it is displayed in the iframe, but if i try src="file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/jgabotero/Desktop/sample.jpg"
it doesn't display the image.
How can i set the src property of iframe to point to local files, specially the ones stored in IsolatedStorage?
Thank you in advance.

i think you can't display files in iframe form your computer using file:// its a security issue.
I also think you can't display images in iframe, ue an html or ohp page, to do this, so put the image in a html file, and link the iframe to this html file.
