how do i run VFXWindows sample project? - javafx

Question

I'm trying to create a JavaFX MDI application. Using FXML files on JFXPanel then on JInternalFrame was giving lots of problems for the Pop-up components like menu and ComboBox
Now I'm trying to use VFXWindow from jfxtras.
I took one of these VFXWindow Samples. I'm getting exception on all the samples. How do i get it running?

It seems you are using a JFXtras 2.x release in a Java(FX)8 environment. Oracle has moved some classes around from JavaFX 2 -> 8, so you need to use a JFXtras 8.x release.
That said, I'm not sure VFXWindows was migrated by the developer to JavaFX 8, in fact I cannot find the VFXWindowsTutorial1 class in our current source tree. There is however the jfxtras-windows artifact... http://jfxtras.org/
