I have developed a custom POD using Flex, similar to the POLL integrated into adobe connect. The POD lets the owner of the meeting create a survey and then the connected users can complete it. I'd like to save the questions and results into the adobe connect Reports -> By Question area. I looked into every documentation available but I have not found anything useful. I can view/export the data added to adobe connect by the custom POLL. I would like to add the details on my own. Below is what I would like to achieve using the API:

Running Github Enterprise 2.18. Is there any way to determine via the API that a user is dormant? I don't see a specific call for it anywhere...
To answer your question....
Running Github Enterprise 2.18. Is there any way to determine via the
API that a user is dormant?
No, it's not possible using GitHub API (Enterprise or not).
GitHub has a strict privacy agreement for it's users. Since repositories can
be public as well as private, you're out of luck getting dormancy info via their API.
GitHub's own help page mentions it in their "Reports" section:
If you need to get information on the users, organizations, and
repositories in your GitHub Enterprise Server instance, you would
ordinarily fetch JSON data through the GitHub API. Unfortunately, the
API may not provide all of the data that you want and it requires a
bit of technical expertise to use. The site admin dashboard offers a
Reports section as an alternative, making it easy for you to download
CSV reports with most of the information that you are likely to need
for users, organizations, and repositories.
Specifically, you can download CSV reports that list
all users
all users who have been active within the last month
all users who have been inactive for one month or more
all users whohave been suspended
all organizations
all repositories
The help page also goes on to show examples on how to invoke the report data via CURL (you could do this with other methods as well, like in Powershell, which I prefer)
curl -L -u username:password/token http(s)://hostname/stafftools/reports/dormant_users.csv
You could make use of that data, without the API and parse it into your application. The world is your oyster.
I am looking for way to create simple multiuser Dashboard for OpenStack as alternative to Horizon. Idea is keep Horizon for administrators and manage users in another aplication with possibility to create (with admin confirmation) custom system.
My idea is create a web aplication (Node.js) which would communicate with OpenStack REST API because we need some extra feature (messaging, LDAP/AC Auth).
I also looked for some projects like alternative to Horizon, but cant find anything .
My question is, what is better idea? Create custom solution or use some already created Dashboard(which one?) and only modify it?
Take a look at this open source project:
https://github.com/cyverse/atmosphere
https://github.com/cyverse/troposphere
So its frontend is based on ReactJS and BackboneJS and the backend is the Django and DRF which consumes the OS python client API.
As for your question, it depends. The horizon project has a very good plugin registration service that let you easily create custom dashboards and you don't have to worry about many other details.
However, create a new dashboard on your own also sounds cool but it needs a lot more effort and time than using the horizon.

I've read much about implementing LinkedIn into my website, but is it possible to upload job offers from an external software directly to LinkedIn?
I’m working with an SAP based recruiting management software. One of the function it is capable of, is to create job offers. But until now, they are only internal. I want to implement a function, which allows the user to automatically upload a job offer to LinkedIn.
Does LinkedIn provide some kind of support for such kind of work? XING for example, offers you documentations for a connection via API or XML. Is there something additional existing for LinkedIn?
Looks like it isn't available for the normal APIs. They have a specific section based on their "Talent Solutions" that may be of interest. Looks to be a paid program

I'm using Hosted Graphite and trying to add deploy events to my grafana dashboard. I first attempted to use the method described here.
The metric is added to graphite with a simple line at the end of the deploy script:
echo "$HOSTEDGRAPHITE_API_KEY.events.$ENVIRONMENT.api.deploy 1" \
| nc -uw0 carbon.hostedgraphite.com 2003
I can show those data points in a simple graph, but using the annotations feature with the "regular metric query" doesn't seem to be adding anything to the graphs.
I'm more interested in using real events, based on: http://obfuscurity.com/2014/01/Graphite-Tip-A-Better-Way-to-Store-Events. This should allow us to tag the event with, for example, the commit hash or git tag. Unfortunately, I can't find anything in the Hosted Graphite documentation about how to get these data into graphite. I also can't find anything about it in the graphite docs.
Despite the lack of docs, I tried posting to a few endpoints, just hoping to get lucky. All of these returned 404:
https://${HOSTEDGRAPHITE_API_KEY}#www.hostedgraphite.com/api/v1/events
https://${HOSTEDGRAPHITE_API_KEY}#www.hostedgraphite.com/api/v1/sink/events
https://${HOSTEDGRAPHITE_API_KEY}#www.hostedgraphite.com/XXXXXX/graphite/events
where XXXXXX is the path prefix I have when accessing the graphite dashboard at /XXXXXX/graphite/dashboard.
I also tried contacting Hosted Graphite support but the "Support" link seems to go nowhere.
Hosted Graphite employee here.
UPDATE: We support Graphite Events and Annotations now: http://docs.hostedgraphite.com/advanced/annotations-and-events.html
We don't currently support events, but it is in development.
This is the reason there is no mention of this functionality in our documentation.
We do support annotations based on metrics.
Which support link didn't work for you? I'll get that fixed :)
You can email us at support+so# or on twitter, as you already discovered.
I'm sorry I don't have a better solution to tagging deploys right now ( it's something we want to be able to do too) but it should be available soon.
Please get in touch via email if there's anything else we can help with.

EDIT: We're using Intercom for support, do you have something like noscript/disconnect that might stop that from working?
I have created a simple VB.NET windows service. I have created a setup package and added the installer using design view -> add installer. I would like to allow this service to interact with the desktop. I am aware that you can go to "services" and allow interaction with the desktop but I would like to do it at install time. I have read many online articles but they refer to c# and the ones I have tried did not work. The way that I assume to do it is to edit the registry entry for the service.I have no real idea of what to do.
Any help appreciated.
