Call to undefined method RegistrationController::getEngine() in - symfony

Everything worked fine. And then suddenly started getting this error.
On the local computer.
FatalErrorException: Error: Call to undefined method Adwordsup\SecurityBundle\Controller\RegistrationController::getEngine() in /var/www/adwords-up/src/Adwordsup/SecurityBundle/Controller/RegistrationController.php line 68
On hosting all is well. Compared. Noticed a difference only that the different structures.
Local: friendsofsymfony/userbundle/
Hosting: friensofsymfony/userbundle/FOS/UserBundle/
Extension possible after updating the bundle flew. What could be the problem?

The getEngine() method has been removed. I Just pass the extension of my template statically (.twig for example).

The getEngine() method has been removed. You can do the following in your controller and it will work:
return $this->render('yourtemplatename.html.twig', $array);

process.env variables undefined in Nextjs

I'm reading undefined for my enviroment variable.When I console log process.env I can't seem to find the variable I defined In my .env file at the root directory.
.env.local file
privateKey="444455....."
scripts/hardhat.config.js
mumbai: {
url: 'https://polygon-mumbai.g.alchemy.com/v2/3333.....',
accounts: [process.env.privateKey]
},
Is it because I'm reading process.env outside of pages? I aslo tried prefixing like NEXT_PUBLIC_privateKey="0033....." and then reading it process.env.NEXT_PUBLIC_privateKey but value would only show inside pages folder and not in scripts/hardhat.config.js
Make sure you have installed and initialized the doting NPM package that is needed to use environment variables.
FINALLY WORKS
I ended up adding the dotenv AS SOMEONE SUGGESTED and starts reading.
Note to self
Enviroment variables outside next.js pages need that dotnev thing;

I'm running following command to build:
METEOR_DISABLE_OPTIMISTIC_CACHING=1 ROLLUP=1 AOT=1 BABEL_CACHE_DIR=/tmp meteor build ../output
without rollup it works, and it also worked before Meteor 1.9
Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?
I don’t think rollup=1 has ever worked properly in the angular-meteor compilers. I vaguely remember ardatan mentioning it in a github issue but can’t locate the exact one. The documentation still states it as an option but I think you should forget about it unless you want to fix the specific compiler issue.
Meteor 1.9 is a big upgrade as it uses node 12 so I would not be surprised if this has introduced an issue in the angular compilers package. It probably needs a few tweaks to bring it up to date.

Updating to Meteor 0.9.1 woes (broke the app big time)

I’ve had some serious problems after updating meteor to 0.9.1.
Here are some example errors from the console.
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function -- in dynamic_template.js
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘prototype’ of undefined -- in helpers.js
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function -- in router.js
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘RouteController’ of undefined -- in iron-router-progress.js
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘RouteController’ of undefined -- in global-imports.js
And dozens of: Uncaught ReferenceError: Template is not defined -- in client view js files, both the hard copies that I have created and the apparently ephemeral files that meteor apparently creates on the fly.
And fewer dozens of: Uncaught ReferenceError: Meteor is not defined -- in the same kind of files.
And one: Uncaught ReferenceError: Spacebars is not defined -- in login_buttons_dialogs.html
And about 10 sockjs errors on GET — net:ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
I can’t help thinking that either something very basic was not accomplished during the update procedure or there are some very basic and widespread changes that need to be made in my code in order for it to run 0.9.1.
I’m building a app that is an extension and morph of the microscope app. It's not rocket science at this point. It was working last night before the update. It was 0.9.0.1 before the update.
All help and insight is appreciated.
Thanks for the guidance. All seems to be well now. This is what I did:
I created a new meteor app, removed 2 default packages, then added:
bootstrap
iron:router
mrt:accounts-ui-bootstrap-dropdown
accounts-password
mrt:iron-router-progress
sacha:spin
Then I copied my files from the broken app to the new app and viola', everything worked.
I see that the directory structure and its naming conventions have changed, colons in place of dashes in a few spaces and the direcory or namespace prefixes such as mrt, iron, and sacha.
Here's an unexpected thing. I previously had a folder called packages in which there was a folder for each package containing all its files. Now that folder is empty, but everything is still working. I'm clearly under informed about a few things.
Again, thanks for the guidance. Even though this was a pain, I see that the resulting changes needed to happen.
Best, Alex
Many packages are breaking on Meteor#0.9.1, I suggest you create a new Meteor app like so:
$ meteor create --release 0.9.0 app
$ cd app
$ meteor remove insecure
$ meteor remove autopublish
and then add all the packages you need with meteor add packagename and copy over all the files from your app.
Stick with Meteor#0.9.0 until you know you can safely upgrade!

Phpunit tests caching

I am writing phpunit test in phpstorm, symfony2.
When the name of the test file is HomeSliderTest.php I am getting following error:
Fatal error: Class 'Acme\HardcoreBundle\Test\AcmeWebTestCase' not found in Acme/HardcoreBundle/Tests/Functional/HomeSliderTest.php on line 13
But when I change the name of the file in something else than everything is working correctly.
Does anyone have an idea what can be a problem?
namespace Acme\HardcoreBundle\Tests\Functional;
use Acme\HardcoreBundle\Test\AcmeWebTestCase;
class HomeSliderTest extends AcmeWebTestCase {...
I don't think that the problem is with code, because it is working when the name of the file is different, also the test is working on other machines.

User Friendly Error page in Symfony2

Whenever I am getting error like Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in /var/www/...Controller.php on line 143, My symfony2-app shows a blank page in prod-environment. The above message available in dev-environment. I want to show a custom page in prod-environment for such errors. How can I implement it in Symfony2?
Update:
May kernel.event_listener help me?
You cannot really implement that in symfony. Fatal errors are not handled by symfony but by the PHP extension itself. The Symfony code never gets a chance to finish executing because of the fatal error leaving php to handle the error by its own devices. PHP error handling is set by error_reporting() and the error_handler set by set_error_handler(). In the dev environment, php error reporting is set to E_ALL to show all errors. In a production environment, errors and debug messages are set to 0 and are not displayed for aesthetic and security reasons (some error messages may display password, etc). The best advice would be to fix all fatal errors before deploying to production. To catch and display a custom page for fatal errors must be done using php set error handling - http://php.net/manual/en/function.set-error-handler.php.
For non-fatal errors, you can create a custom error page view that can be displayed - http://symfony.com/doc/2.0/cookbook/controller/error_pages.html
I do it this way:
class ErrorExceptionHandler {
function __construct() {
register_shutdown_function(array($this, 'fatalErrorHandler'));
}
function fatalErrorHandler() {
$error = error_get_last();
if ($error['type'] === E_ERROR) {
header('Location: /error-page-url');
}
}
}
ErrorExceptionHandler(); // add to app.php
Of course please remember about namespace etc.
