SendKeys through IIS Server - asp.net

I'm able to SendKeys.SendWait through IIS Server Express (debugging through Visual Studio) but it doesn't work when site is hosted on IIS Server. It seems that I need to run asp.net site as Administrator but I have no idea how to do that and need some steps to accomplish that.
Thanks in advance:)

ASP.NET MVC intranet site deployment

Howcome I deploy my intranet ASP.NET MVC project?
What I've got so far:
project itself;
several client machines connected in a workgroup and server;
IIS Express 7.5, SQL Server 2008 R2 Express installed on a server.
It should be mentioned that though it's odd and unusual but server is just a machine without (even) server OS installed. Please note that it's not mine idea and is the environment I've got at the moment
I've read the instruction http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg703322(VS.98).aspx but it describes situation when you have Web Developer installed on the same machine.
Please help!
And Thanks!
This is the 100% manual approach, you might be able to access the remote web server via VS if authorization/permissions is lined up properly (much simpler, basically you just hit deploy):
Install IIS
Install .NET Framework 4
Install MVC
Register ASP.NET with IIS (just to be safe run it again)
Create Website via IIS Management Console (use a new directory for the website)
Put your files inside the new directory
Make sure permissions are setup properly
That's it

How to deploy an ASP.net C# on windows2008 server

I want to deploy a Website which i have created using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition onto a remote server having Microsoft Windows Server 2008.
I don't know anything about deployment. I want to know what are the things required on the Server in order to make the website work for all the client machines.
i had used ajax toolkit, VisualStudio2008 Express Edition and mysql on my developer machine.
One method which i tried is using copy website,it dint work, may be because i don't know the proper way to do it.
Please help me to deploy my ASP.net website.
The first step to setup your website on Windows Server 2008. Is to setup IIS. Installing IIS7 on Windows Server 2008.
Once that's completed, setup your SQL server on either that machine or a different one.
Depending on your setup. Copy your website files to your web site directory. By default it's [Drive]:\inetpub\wwwroot. You can change the target by virtual directories.
One note, you will need to install AJAX on your server for it to run correctly.

Debug on IIS instead of WebDev server

I am developing a web application. My code worked fine on the WebDev server in VS2010. Then, I hosted it on remote IIS, because my windows 7 home basic doesn't have IIS, and almost all code fails. So I had to rewrite it using helpers for links, ResolveUrl and many other functions.
How can I host an application while debugging on remote IIS (not on WebDev or local IIS) automatically?
You can install IIS Express. IIS express is more mature in terms of emulating real IIS 7. For more information on IIS express refer this link. HTH
You might consider developing you application using MebMatrix, which is a free development environment that includes IIS Express. It's easy to learn and doesn't require Visual Studio.

the best way to transfer or copy a web application from IIS in one server to another IIS in another server

I have a webApp in my IIS 7.5 on windows server 2008 now I need to move this particular web app (not all of them) to another IIS 7.5 on the new windows server 2008 R2.
Can anyone please suggest?
thanks
Web Deploy is probably the best, it can do it server to server (ie live sync/migration) as well as allow you to generate a package that can then be installed in the other server:
http://www.iis.net/download/WebDeploy
It includes GUI (extends IIS Manager) as well as command line options, can do it over HTTPS or directly using the IIS configuration APIs. It supports moving configuration, content, GAC, DLLs, Database, Certificates, SSL settings and more.

Permissions problem when accessing remote files from my Web Service

My web service needs to open some files located on a remote computer.
From Windows I can do the authentication so I can see those files using the File Explorer.
If I try to open the files from my Web Service while it's running using Visual Studio (ASP.NET Development Server) it also works.
However, if I do everything from IIS it doesn't.
In order to find out where is the problem what I did was to run a network sniffer and I found out that when using IIS, the system will try to use the account 'ASPNET' to login into those remote computers which will obviously fail.
However this doesn't happen if I run from the IDE (Using the ASP.NET Development Server)
I found out that if I use Impersonation for accessing this it will work, the problem is I need to have the same account names on the computer running IIS so I would rather not to do that.
Why is it working from the ASP.NET Development Server and not from IIS? Is there a way to give full access to the ASPNET account?
Thanks and hopefully somebody will be able to help with this. I don't know what else to try...
Any request on IIS is served by the ASPNET user. So the user ASPNET is working. I think you are using XP. On Win2K3 etc, the user is Network Service
But the Cassini (Visual Studio Dev server) runs under the current logged in user.
So the difference is. You need to use impersonation for your need.
