How to map the opportunities with the contacts in dynamic crm? - crm

I am working with MS dynamic CRM 2013 and my task is to import the data in the CRM which i already have in the correct template. I have already imported contacts and trying to import the respective contact's opportunities but while doing so system gives an error that "A duplicate reference lookup was found". This is due to the reason that there are multiple contacts with same name and whenever system finds duplicate contacts, it does not map the corresponding opportunity.
Could anyone help me to map the opportunities with their respective contacts?

Eventhough names are same emails should be unique. In that case map opportunity to contact using emailaddress instead of name.
Hope this helps !!!

InfoPath - How can I read a people picker field and query AD to load additional fields related to the person in the field.

How can I read a people picker field and query AD to load additional fields related to the person in the field. Example: Employee Name; load information want to load email address, phone number. the InfoPath form is being used with Nintex Workflow and SharePoint 2010.
I have searched and have not been able to find answer.
Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have enough reputation points yet to leave a comment, but your question really doesn't provide enough detail. So any answer provided is going to be based on assumptions. You don't even clarify what version of InfoPath you're using.
That said, a good place to start is to create a data connection to receive data. You'll need to select the web service option and will then need to enter in the web server address. The address will probably be in the following format:
http://yourservernamehere/_vti_bin/userprofileservice.asmx?wsdl
Replace yourservernamehere with the address of your SharePoint server. Then, you'll need to select GetUserProfileByName as the operation you need. Just keep on clicking next and then finish to complete the connection.
You will then have to view the data source within InfoPath to see what fields are available and map the ones you want to the fields you want prepopulated on your form.
All this is based on my own assumptions, so I can't guarantee it will work in your scenario. Happy to assist if you still need help and are able to provide more details.
To autocomplete you can use your e-mail or phone number fields, with a new action rule. This is due to people picker fields not allowing any action rules applied to them.
The web service option mentioned in another answer unfortunately no longer works in SharePoint Online. Please use a data connection the hidden User Information List located on the stem of your SharePoint site instead.
Condition:
Use the condition DisplayName is not blank by using "Select a field or group..." in advanced view and selecting your people pickers DisplayName field
Actions:
Set a field's value
Field: User Information List data connection queryFields DisplayName of people picker
Value: your forms DisplayName of people picker
Query using a data connection: User Information List data connection
Set a field's value
Field: your forms email or phone number field
Value: data fields > Work_email / Work_phone of your data connection

Best method to retrieve Active Directory list using ASP.NET

I am fairly new to ASP.NET programming. I am designing a web project which will maintain employees information, such as the approval schema, staff inventories, claims, etc. The database will record the employee ID as the key. Currently there is no local table storing the mapping of the employee ID and employee name. These information will be retrieved from the Active Directory.
The new system will allow user to do employee lookup e.g. based on name or ID and generate report e.g. list of employee claims of the month. The lookup can be achieved by directly accessing the AD but I don't think it's a good method for generating list of employees/reports. Hence, I'm planning to download the AD list to local database.
My questions are:
1. Is downloading AD list to local database the right method for this situation? Is there any other alternatives to achieve this?
2. Shall I go with downloading the AD list, how to update it on regular basis? I can only think of clearing the table and reimport the whole list again.
Any advises will be much welcomed.
take a look at http://linqtoad.codeplex.com/ I've used it before with great success
"The new system will allow user to do employee lookup e.g. based on name or ID and generate report e.g. list of employee claims of the month."
Sounds like you do not need all employees from AD at once. In that case I would not download the AD list at all, as that would put you in a situation where you have to deal with your database being out of date.
Just start with retrieving the data from AD on request and only think about optimizations if you encounter performance problems.

Beginning ASP.NET. using login name as sql parameter

Does anyone have some code or a link as to how to create the user login name as a parameter during a sql query in ASP.NET?
Basically I want to use the default membership structure with a new field ClubID, then I want to add a new table called aspnet_Clubs which contains things such as Club Name, stadium name, Balance etc etc... and then use a relationship between ClubID and a field in the aspnet_Clubs table to tie things together.
Then when each user logs in they should see the clubs information specific to their loginID.
I know the syntax to use for the query, its getting the loginname parameter and being able to use/assign it as part of the search that is causing me the problem.
In general it is not recommended to break the default schema of the aspnetdb where the Membership data is stored. It can bring you to unexpected consequences in the future.
I had a similar question a couple of days ago, please check it here, may be you will be able to adopt something from the discussion to your situation.

SugarCRM 5 - Create a sub-panel for invoices in Account Panel

I'm customizing a SugarCRM 5, and in my SugarCRM database I have all invoices which were imported from our ERP. Now, I would like to know if it is possible to create a new sub-panel in the Accounts Panel without editing the original SugarCRM files, so that my client invoices index are visible in that interface.
Last time I checked, you could use the module builder to extend the interface. From 5.0 (or maybe 4.x) on, Sugar added all those APIs, which should enable you to extend SugarCRM without hacking it in and losing it with the next upgrade.
Hope that helps!
You can create a new module - Invoices using Module Builder and then add relations between Accounts and Invoices. The subpanels will appear for both - Accounts and Invoices without any coding. You should just customize the columns again using Module Builder.
as stated above, create invoices module to hold all your invoices, but before doing import make relationship with accounts and map the account field when importing so the invoice is automatically connect in subpanel and shown
Basically, the Account name should be a related field in your new invoices module (base the module creation on something like QUOTES that has similar fields. Once you create the module (so simple you can almost guess your way through it in the ADMIN section) and the fields you like (using Studio) just add the RELATED field Account Name and the sub-panel will be established in your ACCOUNTS module and the invoice will magically populate, especially if you re-install them using the import feature from a CSV file (spreadsheet).
You can create sub-panels in account modules details view by just giving relationship within two modules. Create a one-to-many relationship from Account module to Invoices module.
