Is there any way to use popup like google uses for Map Data?
Did they provided any api for that?
I can't find anything about that...
Have you take a look to InfoBubble ? It is probably what you're seeking for.
For information, you can go to google-maps-utility-library-v3 and look if a library fits your needs.

I am coding a Googlemap Locator system showing your friends, similar to what Apple does with find my friends, However the markers on this system need to have the users profile images as per the visual below.
I am using http://gmap3.net/en/catalog/10-overlays/marker-41 jQuery plugin for the integration which is really just a simple way to integrate the googlemap, but has all the functionality of the API.
I have been reading the documentation for both the plugin and the Google API, however can't seem to pinpoint any way I can do this, I have seen this type of functionality before, so I'm sure it must be possible somehow. Any help on a way I can do this using gmap3 would be much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
I found that I have a solution by using the shadow property for the back pointer and icon for the actual profile image. If that helps anyone else.
I'm using osm maps with css files in my app (in iOS, but it does not matter) for customizing their appearance. I'd like to make them looks like google maps. Where I can find css or something like that for google maps? I need to know only colors of main highways and zones, so if you know them tell me)) thanks in advance!
Pretty sure you would have to dive into the Google Maps API to extract the kind of information you are looking for, I could be mistaken but Google does not offer a CSS way to manipulate its maps look and feel.
OR
Bring up a Google Map, take a screen shot and then use the eye dropper in your favourite graphics program to extract the HEX values.
We are creating a website for motorbike tours and would like our visitors to be able to enter a start and end location and have this update an embedded Google map on our own website, basically highlighting the best route. We'd like it to work exactly as the "Directions" feature on Google Maps works.
Is this possible? If so, how best to acheive this?
Also, we'd like to restrict the businesses and places of interest that appear on the map as some of them simply won't be relevant to our motorcycle audience. Is it possible to filter out businesses and places of interest and only display what we would like to display?
Really appreciate any advice that could be offered. Thank you.
Regards
Nath.
Yes you can there is already a post with a HTML example. There are limitations on how many requests can be performed in 1 day for free usage. Check the licensing information on the google site.
google maps plot route between two points
Surely you can.
Take a look here and here (the first is for javascript functionality, the second for server-side functionality through web services).
With these API you can show map, show pinned point on that and, using the direction API, you can also calculate the best route among other things.
About the businesses and places you want to show, you can use the places API. though I never used this one, so I can only suggest to have a look at the documetation.
I want to make google like intelligence searching system for searching data from list in my project. i mean when i write something in google bar for searching it automatically start showing some related words in down side. how can i achieve that search in my project? should i use some API ?
With ASP.NET AJAX, you can use AutoComplete control which would give you that functionality 'as is' without writing any extra code.
You can use Jquery too
I've stumbled upon this flash map

it looks like they used this map to construct the website.

I am curious as to what people have done or any blogs that describe what can be done with flex and simple maps like this (not google maps style maps) but simple all-in-memory maps like this one. It would be cool to see what/ and how flex can do in terms of maps.
thanks!
You would need to draw the entire map. Its more of like a custom component. The below class would is how to start with.
