I have a Grid, which have a TopToolbar and BottomToolbar. In the BottomToolbar, I added a CSVDataExporter:

I have the link, so I can export the table to CSV fine!
BUT! How could I change the CSV export link to be a Button, but do the same and be at the same place as it was? Thank you!
The Link is generated by your ExportToolbar using the createExportLink method. To generate something else (as in any other component) you can extend the ExportToolbar to override this method. If this is the only place where you need this functionality, you can do so by implementing an anonymous inner class.
Generally you'll want this method to return a Component that has it's own markup, like a Panel, that contains whatever you want to display as your Exportlink or -button.

I have a browser view my_custom_display, that can be selected for folders using the menu: Display -> my_custom_display.
The problem appears after I select the custom display and I'm trying to create new objects inside the folder with this custom display.
By default all new items seems to have my_custom_display and my solution is to manually fix it with /selectViewTemplate?templateId=folder_listing.
What is the better solution for this situations? (Set a display only for the item itself not any new child inside it.)
(It's annoying because my browser view generates errors if used in wrong place. Yes, I can improve it, but...)

In /portal_types/Folder/manage_propertiesForm I added my_custom_display in Available view methods. I need it only for specific folders.
Solved by forcing layout setting on folder creation:

So we currently have Jira in our workplace and no Jira Administrator. I'm feeling up to the task and would like to know if Jira has the functionality I'm looking for.
So when you have comments in Jira or even in the body of a Jira ticket. You can italicize the text from the comment ribbon
As you can see I am interested in being able to have the same functionality as bold or italicize or underline
but I want to be able to highlight some code that i insert in a ticket comment and click a button and make it into a code block. Or add curly brackets and make it a quote... Exactly like how StackOverflow does it.
Anyone know how I can accomplish this?

If you're familiar with JavaScript, simply inject a button via JS onto the toolbar. I've done this for a couple of custom fields. Such JS can be included in the custom field's description.
Example
In my case, I've added two buttons on two custom fields to copy original content from Summary/Description. You can adjust the code to do a whatever action on any custom field or comment field.

For comments, you cannot inject JS into the custom field description (comments are not a custom field). You will need to include your JS either via Announcement Banner (this would be global JS for any Jira page). Alternatively, you can utilize simple yet powerful JsIncluder add-on to inject your own JS code only for certain project/issuetype or globally and/or for edit/transition screens only.
I think you can use plugin for this. jeditor plugin gives you more options in text editors. all information you need is provided in above link.after installing this plugin you can change the text renderer as "JEditor Renderer".

I'm trying to build a firefox extension which can get rss feeds and display them in a popup panel. But I'm not aware about how to display feeds in a panel(I know how to display static text).Because the feed is varying all the time.

How about using setInterval to call a function that redraws the panel at the time interval you specify?
You can create DOM elements inside a XUL popup panel using JavaScript, but you have to remember that the panel requires the XHTML namespace:

...but I want to tweak it a little on InfoWindowTabbedComponent. To be more precisely I`m trying to insert links in that tabs, and when you click one the state will change.
You can see my custom InfoWindowTabbedComponent at the end of the post As you can see, right now I have 2 functions that open url`s.
What I`m trying to do is to change this:

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do. If you just want to set the selected Tab, instead of calling navigateToURL() set myTabNavigator.selectedIndex (or selectedChild)
If you really want to change the state, each component has a currentState property, but then you would have to define the states first (via the tag)
And if you really want to navigateToURL() you could navigate to javascript:somefunction() and then set the application state via ExternalInterface, but that would be horribly circumstantial.

Flex 3 question:
I trying here to avoid having to bind resources to all my components labels ( ie a button) and find a way to have this automated.
Problem:
It corrupts the layout in design mode to bind directly in the mxml label="{resourceManager.getString('myResources', 'submit')}" and makes the design view useless. but when declaring bindings elsewhere, in actionScript or via a bind tag, it is counter productive and prone to many errors and miss.
Proposition:
I would like to create my own button that automatically invoke resources to localize a button label. So the author puts "Submit" in the mxml description of my button, and when running it would take the value of the label ie "submit" and use resourceManager.getString('myResources', 'submit').
but I can't find the way to override the set label function, Is it possible if yes how? else how can I go about it?
Maybe I am missing an essential process here that would make the use of resources more elegant, as well as how to override such thing as a button's label.

Create a component called MyButton, extending Button. Then use this:

Assuming the resource manager returns "null" or "undefined" this will work, and will only replace the value if it exists in "myResources".
If you don't want to override every component you need to do this with, then you can add a FlexEvent.CREATION_COMPLETE event on every component. Then use a single generic function to do your label localization.
