Spring 3 MVC and Tiles 2.2 - spring-mvc

I have configured a Spring MVC / Hibernate / Tiles application. All was working until I introduced the Tiles component. I believe I have it right but I keep getting "Cannot render a null template" exception
Here is my root-context.xml

Tried everything - except what you guys might add. Again, everything seemed to be working and wired correctly. Had the Login render the login page Post the user / password in a form made a return trip tom to the DB and rendered the Home page. Once I plugged in Tiles, I can't the first page to render.

Is it tiles.xml or tile.xml ?
In tiles.xml are the Login and Home definitions supposed to extend the template definition?

Try to add those parameters to your spring security form login to make sure your named requests parameters are correct.
<form-login login-page="/login" username-parameter="j_username"
password-parameter="j_password" default-target-url="/welcome"
authentication-failure-url ="/loginfailed" />
Also make sure to change your form:
<form name='loginForm'
action="<c:url value='j_spring_security_check' />" method='POST'>
Also your logout should be a POST, a GET is not supported for logout. Actually you don't need it. Just do something like:
<c:url value="/j_spring_security_logout" var="logoutUrl" />
<form action="${logoutUrl}" method="post" id="logoutForm">

It's reading the mybatis-config.xml file, inside that i put this line
<mapper resource="com.work.dao.VillageMapper.xml" />
It's not reading, what to do?
I put the mybatis-config.xml file inside the project->src->resources->mybatis-config.xml and VillageMapper.xml file inside the dao package.
Project
-src
-com.work.controllers
-VillageController.java
-com.work.dao
-VillageMapper.java
-VillageMapper.xml
-com.work.entity
-Village.java
-com.work.util
-MyBatisUtil.java
-resources
-mybatis-config.xml
I have not used Maven for this. What should I change or correct?
In your mybatis-config.xml, you need to change your <mapper resource="com.work.dao.VillageMapper.xml" /> to <mapper resource="com/work/dao/VillageMapper.xml" />
You can refer here for simple example on spring mybatis implementation and you can also look here for more details on different types of configurations.

Why Tiles 3.0.5 does not work on Spring web 4.1.5

I configured my Spring based application (4.1.5) to use Tiles 3.0.5.
In tiles.xml file I put a file that does not exist "ewfsdfsdf.jsp" to see if the configuration works, then I navigated to hello.htm but it shows hello.jsp rather than showing any error about not finding ewfsdfsdf.jsp file.

jars
jsf-api.jar
jstl.jar
new viewResolver added
<bean id="viewResolver" class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.tiles3.TilesViewResolver"/>

JstlView adds path prefix recursively causing StackOverflowError

all,
I am writing a demo application to learn usage of the
org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.support.ControllerClassNameHandlerMapping
class. When I run the application; I get a stack over flow error and logs show that /WEB-INF/view/ is getting recursively prefixed to the URL path. Please help in solving this.

Seeing InternalResourceView in the stack trace when I am actually using UrlBasedViewResolver puzzles me even more.
The WEB-INF/views is actually prefixed some 50 odd times before throwing the error I have pasted a smaller representation of it to avoid verbosity.
Not sure what causing this effect.
Got it to work with some help from the spring forum guys, I made the following changes:
Removed the annotation-driven ad mvc:annotation-driven tags from the servlet-context and controllers XML respectively.

but the root cause was a fault in the servlet mapping, so changed the Dispatechr Servlet mapping to following in web.xml
<!-- Processes application requests -->
<servlet>
<servlet-name>appServlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet</servlet-class>
<init-param>
<param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
<param-value>classpath:spring/app/servlet-context.xml</param-value>
</init-param>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>appServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
Changed /* to / which was causing the recursive addition of view since it could not find the correct one.
