I have a strange problem with Wordpress. I needed to move the site to another domain and had issues setting everything up again. It works now, but for some reason the themes are not loading images or their CSS.
I thouhgt there is an error with the source links to the images/css, but nope. Installed fresh Wordpress on the server, even on my localhost with XAMPP, but same issue there. Currently only 1 theme is working properly. All the others, when I install them, or click on live demo when installing them from the admin panel in WP, they show only the text. No images, no CSS (at least for the text colors etc..) is being shown. Do you know what could be the reason for that? Even on a freshly installed WP it should work, right?
Thanks!
Have you tried clearing your server cache and browser cache?

CSS is not loading for this particular website with Chrome. Worked perfectly fine yesterday. Also works completely fine on my Chromebook, but not on my desktop. Works fine with Firefox and IE.
Trying to access the /wp-admin/ for the page also gives me a privacy error - again, this doesn't happen with Firefox or IE.
Any idea what I can do to fix this? It's a WordPress website.
Tmeal, this same issue has been happening on my company website. I have done a bit of digging and from what I have found, it is the Chrome update to 44 that is causing it. We have had 4 staff upgrade to 44 and they all have the same issue. I tried your website on my computer (still running 43) and it works perfectly, but then tested it on another machine with 44 and it displays incorrectly.
I tried clearing the cache and it work as it should for a while and then reverted back to having an issue.
I have sorted this issue on my website. I have the wooCommerce plugin installed which needs to be updated to 2.3.13. I hope this works for you too!
Here works fine in Google Chrome. Try to redefine your Chrome or clear cache.
I can't upload files in my wordpress dashboard uploading page, it noticed that "JQuery is not defined", it seems that all pages which include jquery doesn't work, not only uploading page, just in chrome and firefox, however, my friend logged in in to my dashboard, all that's normal. I'm not sure that it's caused by my theme or browser. I try to reinstall chrome and WordPress, It doesn't even matter.
Did you update your Wordpress to a new version ? I got the same issue after an upgrade to 3.5 version.
There was a conflit between the version of JQuery in my theme and the one in Wordpress. Try to upgrade Jquery. It works for me :)
I'm running Ubuntu 11.10.
I've built a simple site using Wordpress and the Manifest theme. My site is located here: http://www.andrewpickin.com, and the Manifest theme has its homepage here: http://jimbarraud.com/manifest/
If I browse the site in Firefox (in Ubuntu) then each page loads smoothly and fast. If I browse it in Chrome (in Ubuntu) then sometimes pages take a millisecond to load, which creates a feeling that the page is flashing or jerking on load.
It's not a major issue, but I feel it should be something that can be fixed. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe I need to modify the Manifest theme...
this solved my issue: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/improve-my-load-times/
I have updated my word press theme but the css stylesheet doesn't seem to be working on FF7 on Ubuntu OS.
It works perfectly on IE, Chrome, Safari & FF on Windows & Mac; but for some reason, it's not loading on FF in Ubuntu.
It loads well using Chrome on Ubuntu though.
I have no problems with other wordpress themes using this same browser, just my theme seems to be problematic.
I've googled the problem but certain solutions seem to relate to having a general problem with CSS; It seems that only my stylesheet doesn't work.
thanks,
J
Install Firebug on your FF and head to the network tab to see if your .css is found and if it's really not loading. Post any errors here and we'll be able to help you better.
Also, install the Theme-Check plugin and run it to see if there's any error in the way your css is being called or some conflict.
