Twitter have stopped api 1 in the last few days and as a result 'wp to twitter' has stopped working. There seems little (comprehendible) info on the twitter site for updating to 1.1.v. I deleted the app (or tried another issue) and created a new application (with read and write). I then went to my wordpress plugin and updated the tokens and keys but still get the message
Twitter requires authentication by OAuth. You will need to update your settings to complete installation of WP to Twitter.
Should I just change the wordpress plugin?
Any help would be appreciated.
If you really have entered your tokens correctly, then it sounds like a bug in the plugin.
Give my plugin a try if you like. http://wordpress.org/plugins/latest-tweets-widget/
If you have the same problems I'll try to help.

Whenever I publish a new post, I should get a new record in google sheets. If I use my first WordPress account with it, the whole zap works fine, but if I use my second WordPress account, it gives me an error in the Post Status field. It also fails the test of the trigger as it says that it cannot find a post on the WordPress account.

I have tried everything mentioned on zapier help docs. I have contacted zapier support to help me with this. I have posted this query on zapier community as well. No luck till now. What I have identified from the error is that it has something to do with INCAPSULA(recaptcha), disturbing the communication between zapier and WordPress. Please help me with this.
I think the best way forward is to log a support ticket to check the backend logs:
https://zapier.com/app/get-help
You'll likely want to make sure that:
There are no caching and security plugins are activated
No CDN (like Cloudflare) using any rules to block requests
Add a NEW WordPress connection with the account in question (feel free to first log into Zapier via an incognito browser, before adding a new WordPress connection)
Thanks!
I am working on to the website, after making transfer into another server the woocommmerce order area not working but rest of website works properly.
Can anyone who get this issue. Please help me to find the issue.
Wordpress version:4.8.8
PHP version:7.4
Woocommerce version: 2.5.5
Thanks
You check first is that your orders are available in database or not. If Order lists data available in your database then you should check you site using your debugging tools.
I want Facebook comments on my images on WordPress. I'm using the Social Gallery Lite plugin for WordPress. It shows a comment lightbox for each image.
I have two problems:
The comments are not appearing in my moderation tool / I'm not getting notifications of new comments
Every time I add a new comment, I get an errormessage saying "Can't download", nothing more. When I refresh, the comment is added. When I add another comment on the same image, I don't get any errors. When I add another comment on another image, I get the error again.
This is what I did:
installed and acitvated the plugin
created a new app on facebook
copy pasted the APP ID in my plugin
made sure that I am the admin of the app
published the app (not even sure if this was necessary)
Am I missing a step?
Not really a coding related question here. So possibly on the wrong forum, best asked on the Wordpress community.
However, will attempt an answer here, it would seem that on the plugin itself does not need a facebook app to be created screenshot for app ID, it has a native app to do that. What you need to do is to provide your admin ID to the plugin to access your comments screenshot for admin access.
My website has been verified by google using the adsense plugin for wordpress.
The statement after says the ad spaces will be blank until after my website review. Now I'm able to configure the ad placement on my web page and even have a preview showing the ads. But I'm unable to save the configuration. The error message it brings is;
Sorry we were unable to save your configuration. The request to your server failed with error code 403.
I want to ask what could be going wrong?
I am currently running Wordpress version 4.7.2 on my own server. I disabled WordFence Security plugin version 6.3.2, before I went into manage ads in the Google Adsense Plugin version 1.2.1. I added my ads where I needed to add them and checked to see if they were working. Everything works fine. I then proceeded to turn WordFence Security Plugin back on and everything still worked fine.
If you are looking into conflict resolution between these two plugins, I can tell you Google last updated their plugin 11 months ago, so you may want to start, here.
Do any one know
any word press plugin that can used for external dB login ,apart from word press plugin
'External DB authentication' because it is not compactable for word press latest version 3.0.4
I have installed the External DB authentication plugin successfully, with a fresh installation of Wordpress 3.0.4. I have also been able to configure it and use it without any problem.
Could you please post the errors or problems you have encountered when you tried to install it?
I didn't know this plugin in fact, but works great, good to know about it!
Check this out: http://www.cedricve.me/blog/2011/07/18/how-to-make-use-of-wordpress-passwords/
It explains how you can make an external login with the credentials of a wordpress installation.
I hope this can help you ;)
Incase you wanted different features, that plugin didn't quite do everything I needed so I created my own called External Login:

If there's something it doesn't do that you require let me know as I'm always open to ideas on how to improve it.
