I've got a question regarding wordpress and multiple domains. I've got two domains (.cz and .com), both pointing to the same folder. The .com domain automatically redirects to the .cz domain. I would like to change this so that the .cz domain redirects to the .com domain. I thought this can by done in my webhosting interface, however, tech support told me that I have to change it in wordpress. Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks!
Go to Settings -> General and update the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL).
You should also set up 301 redirects to send the .com to .cz (and probably non-www to www, or vice-versa on both domains).
Do some Google searching, or search on here for tons of resources on how to do that.

I have changed my domain name from (www.example.com)
to (in.example.com)
the issue is that all old facebook links and campaigns links redirect to the old domain which will show an error due to the change of the domain.
and I am really not good with IIS rules, I have searched on how to make rules to handle this but I could not make it.
all that I need is very simple: if the user open http://www.example.com/Vehicle/all
it should redirect him to
http://in.example.com/Vehicle/all
if the user visits the direct domain it should not remain on the same original domain: http://www.example.com
You Can do redirection from your cpanel. you will find redirection under Domains section
I bought a domain (www.domain.com) with godaddy.ca. Just the domain without the hosting.
I created a Wordpress website on a subdomain (sub.mydomain.it) on another hosting (Netsons).
Now I need to point the domain to the subdomain.
I tried the forwarding with masking through GoDaddy DNS Management, and it works. If I go to www.domain.com it redirects me as needed. I can see the content of the website on my subdomain.
Anyway, I still have all the internal links that show my subdomain.
How can I solve this?
Thank you for your help and sorry for the rough English.
I really appreciate.
My client is moving their site to SquareSpace, but wants to keep the blog portion hosted in WordPress. I'm not sure what their current hosting plan is, but is it generally possible to point "example.com" to SquareSpace, and have "example.com/blog" still exist as a WordPress site?
Thank you!
This can't be done solely through DNS as DNS is ignorant of the path and works only with the domain name. The only way to do this through DNS would be to move the blog from example.com/blog to blog.example.com, then the website can be located on one service at example.com and the blog can still be located on wordpress at blog.example.com.
I have a basic wordpress website with a few simple plugins such as gravityforms etc. For the sake of this question the site has a domain of domain.com
To manage user input we have another system on a subdomain, sub.domain.com
Some users are intermittently receiving the following error 'DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN' whether that be on the domain or subdomain.
Is it possible that this issue is an issue on one of domain.com or sub.domain.com and the users browser shows errors with both purely because the urls have the same domain?
Add wildcard DNS on cpanel. You can create wildcard dns following instruction on the below.

I created a blog at a temporary address provided by my web host.
After buying a domain, I pointed it to the nameserver but the domain always redirects to the temporary address on clicking links.
Support asked me to configure wordpress to my domain name.
I am clueless how to do this. Please help.
Thanks.
Go to your wordpress dashboard -> settings -> general and make sure that your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are correct!
