You should always clear your cache after changing the apperence of Drupal. To do this: Administer > Site configuration/Development > Performance
And you should really invest some time in reading how Drupal works. A good start is: User and Builder Guides

Wordpress: How to turn page content into a popup

I really appreciate your generosity in taking the time to help me out!
I am working on a portfolio site to showcase my graphic work on wordpress.
For most themes, when you click on a list item on the portfolio it directs you to a new page dedicated to that item. I want it to be that when you click on the link, a big popup (about half the screen) comes up that displays the contents.
Is there a way to make the page content into a popup? Is there a plugin I can use for this?
You can see what I am looking for in this site:http://www.mikekus.com/
When you click on the link for each item, it doesn't redirect you to a new page. A popup comes up with the page information. How can I do that on wordpress?
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Here is what that site is running on: Dunked.
There are quite a few options out there for this, especially in the WordPress plugin area. One fairly barebones looking one is WP Post Popup which, as the name implies, turns your posts into modal pop-up's instead of a new page.
Not sure if there is anything out of the box that is comparable to popping up on the side like the page you linked. With some CSS work though you could probably make the one I linked above, or any of them for that matter, look as you would like.
If you want to try and make something on your own, I would recommend doing some reading up on modal windows.

How to disable top page from dropdown menu wordpress?

I relly need help. I made a wordpress website, but i dont know how to disable top page from drom down menu.
I want to turn off page "Apartmani" because it is a empty page, so can you tell me how to disable that page and when you want to click on it nothing happens.
Here s the picture http://www.dodaj.rs/f/t/13H/495kOjY8/pitanje.png so i want to unable "Apartmans".
Thanks
The easiest way for you do do this is not to add this "Apartmani" as a Page in your menu, but as a simple link (as you can add custom links in your menu), with "#" as target. As is you will have a menu item that will handle its sub-pages, but this item will not lead to anything at all as long as the targeted link is #...

WordPress menu - Show a pop-up box when clicked

I would like to click or hover on the links on the right and have it bring up the associated page/post as a pop-up. I have used the primary WordPress nav menu, that can be edited from the dashboard. But WordPress menus contain either pages, links, or categories. What one of those three should I use in the menu, to bring up an associated pop-up? The pop-up will look like this:
I thought a post would be a good one. A page will take the user to a new page which is not really what we want. We want it all to stay on this page.
You should use "lightbox gone wild" from this link. I have used in my site and
it is working very fine. There are many features in it like, next-previous button, close
button, open popup inside popup. For any help you can contact me. I have used it in my site

Drupal removes a page from menu links after page edit

This might be a really simple thing but i was unable to find an answer to it. The issue is this:
I'm using Drupal 7, updated from Drupal 6. I have main menu to which i've assigned some pages. Whenever i edit one of those pages Drupal, for some reason, removes it from the menu links. Anyone ever had the same problem or would anyone have any ideas as to why it behaves this way?
Ok, let's try to rule some things out. You said that you assigned this menu to some pages. If you are viewing the page in view mode, then click edit, then save, you will be taken back to the view of that node. If you are viewing all of your content in the admin, then click edit by the node, then click save, you will be taken back to the list of content in the admin. Take a look where you assigned this menu to, AND/OR where you did not assign it to. Make sure you are not looking at a page where the menu was not assigned to.
You only needed to enable it from the settings - 'Provide a menu link'.

Save button missing from Drupal site

I'm in the middle of creating a Drupal site. It already has lots of content. This morning I found out that the "Save" button has now gone missing from my Page and News nodes. Users now have to click Preview before the Save button appears (both for creating new content and editing existing content). It was fine yesterday and I'm not sure what has changed. Can anyone help me to restore the Save button?
Many thanks
Check under admin/content/node-settings if you set the preview to "required", that would cause this behaviour. You can also try to emtpy all caches.
in Drupal 8 , preview mode can be set for each content types,e.g for articles :
/admin/structure/types/manage/article
If set to required the save button will appear only after previewing the content and returning to edit mode.
