I'm traying to make this add-on work on vBulletin 3.6.8
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?p=2375613
It doesn't seem to work. Newly registered users are not assigned to the custom group which I wanted.
Here is what I'm trying to do http://www.ajaykumarsingh.com/vbulletin/vbulletin-how-to-moderate-first-post-from-new-users.html
My forum is conencted to Drupal using drupalvb module, may this is the reason?
Any clue?
I will be posting this as if you were new to vbulletin. I am not saying that you are or trying to insult. One is that the mod could not be capatiable with your version. The dupalvb bridge, it may be causing the issue. Have you tried disabling the plugin and continuing?

currently I'm running into this issue, where external links are automatically set to no-follow by WordPress. As of now I wasn't able to detect the source of this behaviour.
The page uses the Classic Editor (v1.6.2) Plugin - however, the problem still occurs without the use of this Plugin.
There are a bunch of other plugins installed but those are not directly involved with the post editin feature of WordPress. Are there any clues which might cause this issue?
If you need any information I can provide.
Which other Plugins are you using?
Are you maybe using RankMath or another SEO Plugin?
These have a setting to make all external links with "rel=nofollow". You would need to deactivate this or add an exceptions for specific domains.
Check the settings.
I was doing a routine update procedure on a WordPress website and then I just simply updated the WordPress website and everything started to fell, well all the links are now not loading from the domain itself but instead form a weird domain that seems to be like a CDN but it's actually nothing I have attached console logs so anyone can help me as the styles and all the CSS files are not loading that is making everything worse.
Thanks
The wp.com domain is owned by Automattic, a popular Wordpress commercial service provider (Wordpress.com, WooCommerce, WooThemes, and others). Are you using their plugin Jetpack ? I have been reading forum threads lately of people having similar issues and they were all using the Jetpack plugin with its CDN option enabled.
There is a setting to disable the CDN in Jetpack that may fix this issue. However, some are not able to resolve the issue this way. In this case, I've seen Automattic staff members encouraging people to file a support ticket for one-on-one support.
You are using jetpack plugin
disable CDN option
or you can paste the CSS into Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to provide a temporary fix.
I realize there is other threads on this topic but there solutions and problems are different from mine.
Im able to login to wp-admin correctly
All seems normal but the abilty to (add plugin) or theme or anything has been wiped.
you can look at plugins but there is no way to add a new one.
Same goes for widgets, and themes.
Also.
You cant access things like update core.
you just get a default message
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.
Iv checked the mysql database and all seems fine.
With the user_meta and users
Iv deleted all plugins
Iv deleted all themes.
There is no issue with Wp memory
its basically just a default install of wordpress at this point.
Im not sure what could be causing this.
Any suggestions?
Our non-Administrator (Shop Manager, Editor, Author, etc) users cannot access the WordPress/Woocommerce dashboard. Administrators can access the dashboard.
I have tried logging in users as "out of the box" Shop Managers, Authors, Editors, and they get bumped back to the storefront.
I have tried disabling plugins, and using the basic woo theme to no avail.
I have tried accessing admin pages they should have access to directly, but still cannot access.
Can anyone share any suggestions for getting our non-Administrators access to the dashboard?
Many thanks in advance.
Try to disable ALL the plugins at the same time.
If it works then enable the plugins one by one to find the culprit.
If its still doesnt work make sure you have the latest version or
Wordpress/WooCommerce.
If everything is up to date and its still doesnt work then look into the functions.php file in
your theme, maybe there is some script that causes the problem..
If nothing of these has worked you could always apply a patch until you find the real source of the problem, here is some suggestions:
Do a temporary quick fix by using the user_has_cap filter
Add capabilties to user roles so the will be able to access like an administratior see the add_cap() function
If you have installed Ultimate Member plugin:
Go to User Roles page
Press Edit on the role that you want to access the dashboard
Check: Can access wp-admin?
Press Update role
Then test; it should work then
I needed a wordpress plugin for forums, so i installed Simple-Press plugin, the plugin works perfect with good controls and every thing seems perfect, but one problem i am having is on the Profile page of each user, i am getting this error
http://prntscr.com/7auib (screenshot)
Profile form could not be found [//wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/profile/forms/sp-form-global-options.php]
Can any one help out on this?
Don't bother with this plugin. Use bbPress which is the best and most compatible forum plugin for WordPress. It's made by the WordPress team.
