Qt - Scrolling the Text under a widget - qt

Can anyone plz try to solve my problem. i have a frame, in that am scrolling a text. now i have added 2 widgets at both the ends of the frame. Using the stylesheet i had changed the color of the 2 widgets in black color. Now my text starts scrolling above the black color of the widget. But what i want to do is, the text should start scroll below the widget and it should end by scrolling below the widget. How can i do this? Hope u guyz got my question... Herewith i had attached the screenshot of my frame for your reference. Plz Help.. Thanks in Advance.!

You need to set the z-depth of the side components. Try calling raise() on them.

Qt QGraphicsProxyWidget hiding other QGraphicsProxyWidgets

I'm working on a Slotmachine with QGraphicsScene and -View and I'm close to the end of that project. But now I want to add a small rect to the winning-lines that shows the amount of won credits in that line. The rect is a QLabel in a QGraphicsProxyWidget. I don't know if thats the best way to solve this problem but I'm not able to find a better solution at the moment. I'm setting the proxyWidget to not visible in the constructor of the label but when I'm setting this proxyWidget to visible other proxyWidgets in the scene disappear. And I just dont understand why. It's not hiding every proxyWidgets.
As you can see on the picture there's a red rect in the middle of the first square of the winning line. This is causing the problem. It is hiding the lower white border which is a QGraphicsPixmapItem and the first of the normally three QGraphicsProxyWidgets at the bottom, stake(this is not visible), last gain(letzter Gewinn), credit(Guthaben). I don't know why its not hiding the other Widgets on the bottom because they are all equal. As you can see its not hiding the complete lower border. I just don't know why this happens and why it just happens to the lower border and the left widget on the bottom and not to any other elements. I just don't know how to fix a problem like that.
It's a bit long to read but I don't know how to really describe the problem or how I could show you in the Code. I hope someone could help me.
Solved it by using an QGraphicsTextItem. totally forgot that it is existing. Thanks to the QT Forum.

Qlabel with image as the background overlaps other Qlabels

I have a Qlabel with image as rich text and some other Qlabels on top of that as in the picture:
although I sent the Qlabel with image to back but when I run they appear as follows:
is there anyway to fix this?
Make the text labels children of the label containing the fade. Also I can not see any layouts. Did you use layouts? You could also put the fade on the widget by implementing its paintEvent(). All other widgets will be displayed on top of that.
Try right clicking the image label and clicking the send-to-back option. That might work. That should send the QLabel behind the other elements even though they appear as though they are already in front.

Qt: Transparent scrollbar

I'd like to make a background of a scrollbar of QListView transparent. It should be painted over the content. Something like this. Is it possible?
Sure. Subclass it, override the paint event, and read this.
GUI style on screenshot is QML i think
I ended up with this hack. I just created a new vertical scroll bar, placed it onto viewport and connected it with the original scroll bar. Then I just hidden the original scrollbar :)

Flex: Panel container loses borderSkin (embedded swf) when scrollbars appear

I've been asking around and googling like crazy, but can't figure this one out.
I have a panel in a flex-AIR app with a borderSkin - an #Embed swf symbol. Everything looks good till the panel has enough children added to merit a scrollbar, at which point the borderSkin disappears, leaving only the default background color. Remove the children and the borderskin comes back. The swf symbol uses scale9 grids.
What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Jeremy
I did find the answer from a friend.
Apparently, the panel's background color disappears automatically when a custom borderskin is applied. However, when scrollbars are used, that background reappears - white being the default color - and fills the entire panel. Setting the panel's background alpha to 0 solves the problem.
I finaly cheated.
I put my panel in a box and turned to off the scroll policy of my panel.
Hope it could help.

move image in text area in flex

alt text http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/1183/tedit.jpg
Hi Guys,
I am trying to make a text editor in Flex.
i can move image on mouse click.
Problem is it moves with the key up or down handler. But it moves out of text area after the last line in textarea. And it also doesn't move with scroll.
Pls give suggestions for these problems.
Thanks.
Regards,
Shivang
You may want to increase the white space of your 'text editor'. Just have numbers up till person entered text. That way when you move to the bottom you are not moving outside of the textArea.
would need more example of what is going wrong with the key up or down handler. What events are you trying to capture? How are you dragging the image?
good luck.
