wordpress - display all content of a post (ignore "more") - wordpress

On a mobile version of my site, I want to ignore the tag and display the full text of every post. How can I do this? This cuts off the text and inserts (more...):
<?php the_content(); ?>

In your PAGE.PHP underneath this code you are using EXCERPT function, either remove EXCERPT from there.

Show all post content on Wordpress

Im using the theme HTML 5 Blank (http://html5blank.com/) with WordPress 3.7.1.
On my page I want to display everthing from the posts, text and images.
In the settings in wordpress admin i have it set on show hole post but it does not work.
I have olso deleted the php code in the loop that inserts the excerpt from the theme. Sitt not workning. Any ideas? I can send code if you want, for now i do not know what code can be usefull.
Jim
Replace <?php the_excerpt() ?>and add the following code to your theme's loop.
<?php the_content(); ?>
That should display the content, rather that the excerpt.

Remove content after <!--more--> tag

I'm trying to show at the category page only the content of the post that is before the <!--more--> tag. I'm using the latest Wordpress version.
In other words the structure will go like this
Content
<!--more-->
Content I want to be removed and only shown if the single post is displayed.
I've already got rid of the "Read More" link, and I've already tryed to use CSS and display:none; but none of those works fine
The code generated by wordpress is the following
<h2 class="entry-title">Post Name</h2>
<div id="chan" class="blanco">Content Shown</div>
<p><span id="more-50"></span>Post description.</p>
At the index.php I've managed to make it work since it shows the link and not the content itself, however in the page.php doesn't work.
Thank you very much in advance!
<?php the_content(); ?> will output the content, trimmed to just before the <!-- more --> tag, if the tag is used.
From the codex:
If the quicktag <!--more--> is used in a post to designate the "cut-off" point for the post to be excerpted, the_content() tag will only show the excerpt up to the <!--more--> quicktag point on non-single/non-permalink post pages.

wordpress <!--more--> not rendering a link

I am using the <!--more--> tag in my wordpress copy to create an excerpt from the main content and also echo a link, however it is totally disregarding this tag and just posting the full article, below is hope I am implementing it in my templates,
<?php the_content("Read more about this article..."); ?> am I doing something wrong? Currently it is showing the while post when I use the above code, however it is my belief that it should only only show everything above the <!--more--> tag?
As per the official WordPress support site:
From the use of your PHP code, it looks like you want to use the more tag on pages. More works with blog posts but not pages. Please add the following code to your document above your PHP line you provided to make it work:
<?php
global $more;
$more = 0;
?>
Also, be sure that you are not simply in preview mode and that you have actually published the article and previewed it:
[T]he more tag is not displayed in post previews, since previews display
posts in entirety, but the more tag will appear once the post has been
published.
Perhaps you are using custom page template to display archives. "More" tag doesn't work in pages. If you want to turn it on in Pages...
<?php the_content("Read more about this article..."); ?>
you should use the code like this if you wanna show the to work in a page
<?php
global $more;
$more = 0;
the_content("Read more about this article...");
?>

widgets_on_pages not working

Hello i'm using widgets_on_pages to place widgets on pages, i installed it and added a widget to the panel in my admin section, then i added [widgets_on_pages id=2] ("its the 2nd sidebar and it said i should add this") into my html on the place where the widget should appear but it only shows the code i added in pure text, nothing else happens, anyone know what i'm doing wrong?
If I understand correctly then the following applies... if not, apologies.
You should not need to do it this way. It seems that Vincent, you are trying to add the shortcode into a theme php file... this is incorrect and the shortcode is for adding into the page/post content by the post/page editor.
To add a Widgets on Pages sidebar to a template then v 0.0.7 (I believe) has built in template tags (see link text). This should allow you to add the following I think
<?php widgets_on_template("2"); ?>
Try this
<?php echo do_shortcode('[widgets_on_pages id=2]'] ?>

WordPress - displaying posts in a page

I would like to display the posts the way they are shown when you have "show latest post" selected under reading settings.
I've tried using query_posts, but that displays the whole post, not the chunk that appears in the preview with the link at the bottom.
any ideas what I should be querying to get that?
Edit
I forgot to mention
I tried using the_excerpt(), but that doesn't show the image in the post. Also the index.php file is using the the_content() and it's displaying it the way I want it to
If you don't want to show the whole post, you should use the_excerpt() instead of the_post()
Edit:
From codex:
<?php the_content('Read more...'); ?> Displays the content of the post and uses "Read more..." for the more link text when the Quicktag is used.
Basically, use the_content('your text for the link') and add the quicktag to your article, this will automatically just show the text before
