Using the com.loopj.android.http library causes java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError - http

I have tried uses-library clause but that gives me this error : Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_MISSING_SHARED_LIBRARY
I tried adding the library android-async-http-1.3.2.jar to both the lib folder and as a user library. There are no compile time errors but during run time it doesn't seem to find the library for some strange reason.
This is the error log :
06-01 14:29:57.073: E/AndroidRuntime(5354): FATAL EXCEPTION: main
06-01 14:29:57.073: E/AndroidRuntime(5354): java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.loopj.android.http.RequestParams
06-01 14:29:57.073: E/AndroidRuntime(5354): at com.android.myprojectname

Check that .jar is checked in the tab "Order and Export" in the window "Java build path".
If it doesn't work, add your folder "libs" in "Source" tab.

The jar file should be in the libs folder not the lib folder, try that.
Also, make sure you are importing the classes for use in your code:
import com.loopj.android.http.*;

JavaFX missing "eu.hansolo" module

I'm using for the first time JavaFX on Intellij for an university project that requires me to develop a certain program.
I downloaded the 19.0.2.1 version of JavaFX.
Then, i created a new project, and tried to run the HelloApplication file (the one it automatically creates), and it did not build. So, i started following around 10 different guides, so the steps i did were:
In 'Project structure', i created a new path to my lib file in the javafxjdk i download before.
In 'Edit run configurations', i added this code to the option 'add VM options':
--module-path /Users/User/Download/javafx-sdk-19.0.2.1/lib
--add-modules=javafx.controls,javafx.fxml
I also changed the JAVA_HOME variable (i'm on Mac) using this command:
/usr/libexec/java_home
But whenever i run, it gives me this error:
Executing pre-compile tasks...
Running 'before' tasks
Checking sources
Copying resources... [TenthTry]
Parsing java… [TenthTry]
java: module not found: eu.hansolo.fx.countries
java: module not found: eu.hansolo.fx.heatmap
java: module not found: eu.hansolo.toolboxfx
java: module not found: eu.hansolo.toolbox
I have absolutely no clue how i can resolve this. Any help?
I fixed it!
Go to file->project structure->modules and in your modules find those four modules that are throwing an error. change them from "Runtime" to "Compile".

No main manifest attribute, Netbeans

I have the following problem when trying to launch a .jar file of my program in cmd: no main manifest attribute, in path/filename.jar
I tried to add the Main-Class to the MANIFEST.MF file, but then it says Error: Could not find or load main class.
In NetBeans I have set the Main Class at Properties->Run->Main Class to the one, which holds the function main(String[] args) in my case "com.nxp.vda_with_gui_1.version.App". I have also added VM Options for the JavaFX modules like the following:
--module-path C:\NetbeansJavaFX --add-modules javafx.controls,javafx.base,javafx.fxml,javafx.graphics,javafx.media
In NetBeans I can build and launch up my program without any errors, but when I try to "Run File" (Shift + F6) a different error will be put out:
Error: JavaFX runtime components are missing, and are required to run this application Command execution failed.
Any tips how to solve it?
Below you can find a picture of my file/package structure and some other information, maybe it helps finding a solution quicker:

Problem with yarn dependency using the rhino R package

I am trying the new R package rhino from the Appsilon team to build shiny apps.
Running on a Windows10 laptop I installed the dependencies node.js and yarn as described in this tutorial.
Here is the output of rhino::diagnostics() :
Windows 10 x64 build 19042
R version 4.1.0 (2021-05-18)
rhino: 1.0.0
node: v16.15.0
yarn: 1.22.15
Running rhino::build_sass() gives me this error:
yarn run v1.22.15
$ sass --no-source-map --style=compressed root/app/styles/main.scss:root/app/static/css/app.min.css
Error reading root\app\styles\main.scss: no such file or directory.
error Command failed with exit code 66.
info Visit https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/cli/run for documentation about this command.
Error:
! System command 'yarn' exited with status 66.
i If you can't use Node.js and yarn, try using sass: 'r' configuration.
Run `rlang::last_error()` to see where the error occurred.
I am puzzled by the paths in the call to "sass" that start with "root/app". My app is located in my home directory:
"C:/Users/XXX/Documents/workspace/rhino_dummy"
Is it possible that these paths are wrong in the call?
Luckily, the suggested alternative with the deprecated libsass interpreter works for the sass example in the tutorial. It would be nice to have node.js with sass working on Windows10 for future more complex apps.
Edit 1, after Kat's comment
Thanks Kat for the quick feedback. I added sass via yarn add sass and tried again same error:
> rhino::build_sass()
yarn run v1.22.15
warning ..\..\package.json: No license field
$ sass --no-source-map --style=compressed root/app/styles/main.scss:root/app/static/css/app.min.css

The warning is coming from the pckage.json file that was created by calling yarn inside my R project folder. It has only minimal content:
# package.json
{
"dependencies": {
"sass": "^1.51.0"
}
}
Out of curiosity, I tried to compile the javascript example, also failed with very similar error regarding folder paths:
> rhino::build_js()
yarn run v1.22.15
warning ..\..\package.json: No license field
$ webpack

For Node.js functions to work on Windows 10, you'll need to enable Developer Mode on your system as mentioned in our How-to: Use Rhino on Windows article. This is necessary for symbolic links to work on Windows (and the .rhino/node/root file is a symbolic link to the root of the project).
After you do that, delete the .rhino/node directory from your project, or run rhino:::add_node(clean = TRUE) in the root of your project.
Workaround
This answer is only a workaround, if you cannot enable developer mode on windows (see Kamil Zyla's post for more information).
It looks like the folder name "root" in the error messages is a broken variable.
The folder ...\workspace\rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root does not exist, but the substructures do exit:
app\styles\main.scss
app\js\index.js
...\workspace\rhino_dummy\.rhino\node
Fix step1
I tried my luck and created the folder "root": C:\Users\XXX\Documents\workspace\rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root
copied rhino_dummy\app\styles\main.scss to rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root\app\styles\main.scss
copied rhino_dummy\app\js\index.js to rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root\app\js\index.js
running rhino::build_sass() and rhino::build_js() now worked!
rhino::build_sass()
yarn run v1.22.15
warning ..\..\package.json: No license field
$ sass --no-source-map --style=compressed root/app/styles/main.scss:root/app/static/css/app.min.css
Done in 0.45s.
rhino::build_js()
yarn run v1.22.15
warning ..\..\package.json: No license field
$ webpack
asset app.min.js 470 bytes [compared for emit] [minimized] (name: main)
runtime modules 670 bytes 3 modules
./root/app/js/index.js 113 bytes [built] [code generated]
webpack 5.69.0 compiled successfully in 846 ms
Done in 2.58s.
Fix step2
copy results back to "static" folder, where they are expected by shiny/rhino
copy rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root\app\static\css\app.min.css to rhino_dummy\app\static\css\app.min.css
copy \rhino_dummy\.rhino\node\root\app\static\js\app.min.js to \rhino_dummy\app\static\js\app.min.js
launch the app via shiny::shinyAppDir(".")
click the button from the tutorial ;-)
Edit1
Checking the github repo of rhino
SASS
definition of build_sass()
calling yarn("build-sass")

Error in Groovy installation

I have install Groovy 2.1.1 in my unix box. While executing groovysh getting the below error.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: error:

Could not find the main class: error:. Program will exit.
What could be the possible root cause for this error...???
Somewhere, you try to use the class error: (and yes, Groovy thinks that the colon is part of the class name), either in the script you execute (i.e. there must be new error: somewhere) or you wrote something like groovysh error: or you import error: (maybe indirectly)
Since you are using IBM J9, according to the Grails FAQ, the J9 need an argument to work well with Groovy, otherwise you may get a NoClassDefFound error:
Add -Xverify:none to JVM arguments
