I've been struggling with this for days and just can't get it. Is it possible to get the hover state of a link to look like the attached picture? So it appears ilke a highlighter was used on the text and have the white space between the lines

sorry it wouldn't let me attach the image.
Here is the closest I can get

In your example, turn off float:left on your A-tag.

In crystal report:
right click on a field -> edit formula. I can add some html elements.
example
<u>
IF {myobject.myfield} = "something" THEN
blabla1
ELSE
blabla2
</u>
Is there a way to add a css font style?
I would like to underline the whole line. Not only where there is text
You can use something like this:
IF {myobject.myfield} = "something" THEN
<u>blabla1</u>
ELSE
</u>blabla2</u>
But that would require turning on the 'Interpret as HTML option.
Why not simply format the formula object with underline?
Even with a CSS style, it will still only underline the text and will not extend the underline beyond.
I see two other ways to accomplish this though.
Make the field the entire width of the area that you want to be underlined, then add a bottom border to the field or text object.
Use the line drawing tool to add a horizontal line to the report where it is needed.
It doesn't give a solution to the mentioned problem. But it give a solution to the problem that leads to this problem, i.e., underline the whole line.
select the feld, click on underline. In "edit formula", add space(N) before each line break. With N is a big number
For Wordpress, how can I make it like https://store.google.com/us/category/connected_home
Hotspot info, Top-tab for changing the spot. Can be made with slide revolution?
Inspect the page. They've positioned the elements with percentage based left and top values.
If I was to build something like this, I'd use javascript to hide and show the various labels when I click the menu tabs. And I'd add CSS animations so they transition in like in your example.
Goal: I need to set anchor tags for the wordpress-site: http://joy-academy.eu/programs/
I am using Visual Composer and there is some animation.
Problem: If I try to set an anchor tag, it scrolls to the right place but does not show the previous parts that are animated like here:http://joy-academy.eu/programs/#example or if I use a Plugin "scroll to Id", it just scrolls to a random place, like for example here: http://joy-academy.eu/programs/#cc

Thanks for your help!
I see that your site is using the Zeyn theme.
That's the first place to look for coding style changes. Here's a demo example doing what I think you are hoping to achieve. http://djavaweb.com/selector.php?theme=zeyn-classic
This means don't use the button for an anchor. So, use the Extra id in the rows to correspond with the anchor link (#example).
Here's the directions to do this; just start after the steps about the menu items.

I am trying to create HTML Table and give some cells a special border,
you can see the example here - I marked it with Arrow..
Please help me to understand how can I create such border , without using images.
I read this topic, but I could not be able to transfer it to table element or do it as the border of it..
Customizing border properties using zigzag edges
Thanks,
Gabi.
The answer is to use an image as a background to the cell. The image contains the curve and the image could be white and grey, or transparent and grey depending on your use case.
Always try to see what could be there instead of what you think is there
This is a CSS-Question.
In this fiddle you can see a button.
It has got two span-elements inside. One with float:left; the other with float:right;.
The style is a normal button-style.
When clicking that button on the iPhone or hover it in a Browser the style gets lost.
This is because I changed the background-color.
Is there a way to change the background-color without losing the whole button-style?
EDIT:
Here are the two images: The first button is a normal button-element. The second button is a button where I changed the background-color ... this is what it looks like when I'm hovering over a button.
I think I understand what you mean. It looks like the rounded corner is gone when hovering, while a border is added. I'm afraid there's not a easy way to get what exactly you want, as the behavior & appearance of Button is controled by system.
Maybe you can try to replace it with a div, which you have full control of the style (chaning the style via JS when hovering).
All's working fine for me. However floating-right elements should always be placed before floating-left elements. Don't know if it will change anything.
