I am having problems posting on my WordPress site. When I add a post from the admin screen then the page where this post is displayed goes blank. Other pages are working fine -- only the page where that particular post is displayed goes blank.
You have a php_error because of the faq builder plugin.
I would suggest that you disable this plugin and install another FAQ plugin.
I suggest that you use FAQ You plugin, have used this on many sites without problems in the past.
If you still want to use FAQ Builder, and by looking at the error you had sent, you can still fix it to make it work by changing the plugin's code.

I am trying to use the widget 'Super Store Finder' with no luck. Well I had some luckas I can get it to work on the page it is supposed to be on, however it shows up above the header on my home page too. Thinking it had something to do with the Goodlayers theme and page builder I am using, I tried building a standalone site with WPBakery and Elementor with less luck. Keep in mind with my first theme, all I had to do was activate the theme and it started showing up. Didn't add it to a page or anything at all. I don't want to get in to the complexities of fixing the plugin. I more or less am interested in a workaround.
I am using all the latest versions of everything btw.
My big question is simply...How can I stop this plugin from showing up on my homepage?
Continuing my search, I came across a plugin called 'freesoil Deactivate Plugins' and you can choose which page you do not want a plugin to show up on. Easy peasy finally....
I want to use my Posts page with Elementor modules.
I have done my Homepage like that
but cannot do the same with Posts page.
I have created an empty page,
added some modules.
And selected this page as Posts page in Reading page.
But when I click a page on my website,
my Elementor Posts page is not seen,
the default Wordpress page is seen.
Update :
I'm using Neve theme on Wordpress v5.8
My website address is Tubefavorites.com
My homepage with Elementor and posts page with default Wordpress has different fonts
and my homepage and posts page's components are in different order.
(In homepage its Tags, Categories, ...
In my posts page its Tags, Last Posts, ...
I'm working online in browser (its not local).
There is no error on Chrome Console.
Update end.
Currently I'm trying this in Turkish pages.
I will make the English Elementor page after I fix this.
How can I fix this?
Thanks
Do you have Elementor enabled for post?
Thus, if I understood correctly, you have created a page post and want to add it as homepage. You should go to settings - reading and select via dropdown the page you have created! Then, you will see your page as homepage and not the default one
There is also an explanation in support forum, that someone has the same problem. Please read below:
"Looks like you’re trying to edit your Posts page that has been assigned in your WordPress Reading settings (Settings > Reading). If this is the case, you may not be able to edit the assigned Posts page directly with Elementor (Basic version).
You can try deselecting the page (in the “Posts Page” box within your Reading settings) then try editing this page with Elementor"
link to the source: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cannot-load-posts-page-with-elementor/
Thus, disable your page through Settings - Reading, edit/modify (whatever you want) your Post page. After that, you could add your page blog posts URL to the meny item (or use this URL to wherever is nessecary)
EDITED
What plugin are you using for the translations?
I saw your homepage playing correct, right? Thus, you have selected your custom page correctly, through the Settings - Reading.
Now, if you want to see the same results in Turkish, you need to translate your home page too! So, add the translation in turkish language too, or duplicate the english version for turkish one and it will play!
UPDATED
I think there is an issue with the blog page (and single post template, as I am reading in WP forum for this theme). Try to check inside Appearence -> Customize, if there is any options there, thus could change the blog template. Somehow the theme overwrites your options. Furthermore, take a look at the blog theme's doc here:
https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1306-neve-blog-archive-options
I have learned that, I have to use Templates page, in Elementor Pro.
I didn't have been selected it.
Thanks to Hakkı Uçar for this
and for installing and for helping.
All post titles in the post management page in admin are same as first in the page.
Though upon clicking it leads to the correct post to edit, and the blog runs fine.
Seems like a small bug. I doubt updating jetpack has caused this since that's the only change I did in the last few days.
Noticed the first post title of every page in post mngmnt admin is repeated.
Please help.
Re-installing the same version again helped. All okay.
Thanks to all who cared.
Quickinfo:
I am using wordpress 3.5.1 with the latest version of the "FancyBox
for WordPress" -Plugin.
I use the more-Tag for all articles, making
only excerpts of them beeing shown on the start-page.
Facts:
In wordpress image-thumbnails included in the article are enclosed
in a link pointing to the image-url by default.
The Fancybox-Plugin makes such Links open the image in a jQuery Fancybox.
My Problem:
Sometimes I show images in the excerpts, too.
At this time theres happening an usability-flaw:
When clicking on the Image a fancybox will open, but people expect to get redirected to the full article instead.
Is anyone aware of a solution how to overcome this issue, maybee by using an other plugin, changing the structure of my articles or editing some php-files?
I don't know about the plugin you are using but I've always used colorbox. There's a plugin for it designed for wordpress and it allows you to specify which images you want to open in a jquery window.
I have a website and a blog. I want to insert an iframe into the website, displaying the latest post from the blog.
So I need just the post content inside the iframe, without wordpress headers and sidebars.
Whats the best approach to achieve this?
Thanks for help.
If the site and the blog are on the same domain, you may be best off querying the latest post using the Wordpress API itself, making it unnecessary to fiddle with an iframe.
How to do that is described in Integrating WordPress with Your Website on the WordPress Codex.
If you need to do this using an iframe, I guess it's easiest to set up a new theme that doesn't display anything but the post itself. That would be some work though.
I recently put together a video tutorial of how I did this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GuocgQlCmw
I didn't get rid of the WordPress sidebar, but the tutorial shows how I used Firebug to get rid of parts of the header and the same technique should work for the sidebar. There are links in the youtube description to all the reference material I used including a link to a blog entry I wrote describing the process.
This doesn't really answer the question but why don't you use Wordpress for all of your website if you use templates you can make it look like a website and also have a blog. Have a look at this site i made using just Wordpress http://www.smkrc.co.uk. By doing this you would have access to the posts and would not need to use iframes.
