I an mobile application, I want to open a popup, and I want to resize it dynamically.
I am using a SkinnablePopupContainer and I open it with popup.open(view, true);
If I try to reduce the size with popup.width = ... the content of the popup overflows. If there a way to redraw the content of the container so it fits well ?
Thks
you can try to use .validateNow() to redraw the content.

I add a vuetify drawer to my application, and set the position to fixed and temporary.
When the drawer is open (and I have overlay), when I try to scroll the drawer stay in position - good. but the problem is the event pass to the page, and the page is do scroll.
How can I fix that?
My code on codesandbox.
open the link
click on toggle and the drawer is open.
try to scroll (with the mouse)
if you do, it's bad.
Your problem is that you give the wrapper div height:3000px.
you have to set it to height:100vh - in this case it will take the maximum height of your screen (like 100% of it)
I'm using Fancybox for Wordpress to display a form.
Within the fancybox is a div with id "popup1", which contains the form.
When the user submits the form, #popup1 disappears, and #popup2 appears. div#popup2 just has a little "Thank you" message that is very short.
The height of the fancybox window automatically resizes to fit the height of the content when I switch from popup1 to popup2, but I want the WIDTH of fancybox window to shrink also. How can I do that?
Thanks in advance!
You have several handlers to flip from one pop-up to another like
$("#popup4-BA").slideDown("slow");
Try adding the fancybox (v1.3.4) method $.fancybox.resize() after completing the animation like
$("#popup4-BA").slideDown("slow", function(){
$.fancybox.resize();
});
... you may need to do this in every handler.
Some Notes:
you first pop-up has a fixed width so you may need to try removing it and set the css width property to auto.
since you are using fancybox v1.3.4 with inline content, you need to be aware of this BUG and workaround.
I'm using VS2010,C# to develop an ASP.NET web app, my page contains a wide image, so that users will usually see a horizontal scrollbar, but I want this scroll bar to be automatically placed centered horizontally so that my user always views the image and the whole screen in center by default, is there any way to do so?
thanks
Try This
var img = document.getElementById('imageid'); //or however you get a handle to the IMG
var width = img.clientWidth;
var height = img.clientHeight;
// Jquery
$("div.demo").scrollLeft(width/2);
Check this... you would need to create custom script for your scroll bar
Custom Scroll Bar
I am trying to increase the height of container with increase in the number of contents inside the container.
Like in my case i m using tileList inside tabNavigator , when I put contents inside the tileList, the height of tileList does not increase
beyond vertical height of the viewport. It puts scrollbar on the container. I want to increase the height of an flex container with increase in the contents and introduce
scrollbar on the browser with increase in contents in the flex container.
Could anybody please suggest me how I could achieve this.
Thanks in advance.
You need to write a javascript function which increases the height of embed object and you need to call this javascript method from flex while adding a new item to tile list.
This link explains how to access javascript from flex.
Have considered using javascript and resize the element directly in the source HTML?
The JS code could look something like that:
function changeSize(id) {
var flex = document.getElementById(id);
flex.setAttribute("width", "800");
flex.setAttribute("height", "600");
}
Would it be possible to show an image in full screen mode using silverlight. I'm looking out for some thing like the full screen option of the flash video players.
You can set
Application.Current.Host.Content.IsFullScreen = true;
this has to be done from a mouse button event or a click, you can't force the user into full screen without some interaction on their part.
Then you'll need to scale the image. If it's in an element that scales automatically, like a Grid cell and the Grid resizes automatically (like if it's the root element on the page and the page doesn't have a width or height specified) then you're good, but otherwise you'll need to handle the Application.Current.Host.Content.FullScreenChanged event and either resize or apply a scale transform to the image or its container to make it fill the screen, and do the same when you go back to non full screen mode.
Set System.Windows.Interop.BrowserHost.IsFullScreen = true.
