Registration questionnaire to prevent spammers - drupal

I want to add some specific General Knowledge question related to users of my targeted area only at the user registration form because of spamming from untargeted users( from across world).
Is there any module I can use to add question/answer in the registration form?

I would suggest using the CAPTCHA/reCAPTCHA and the CAPTCHA Riddler if you are looking for this exact use case. With these modules you can choose which forms to display CAPTCHA on and you can create your own custom questions and answers.
Otherwise, like Rimian says, there's Mollom

Is it necessary for the question to be "General Knowledge"? You only want to determine if the user is human, right? I would use mollom:
http://mollom.com/
http://drupal.org/project/mollom

If I were to do this, I would create a small module using hook_form_alter working on the registration form, which would add fields for the questions, as well as a verification function to check whether the answers were correct.

Implement adding content only by some pople. Rails

I am working on dictionary-like web page and I want to implement adding/changing phrases only by few people (my client - which is some small organisation wants to be able to do this by himself). The page does not have any login/registration mechanism etc. (for regular users at least) so I do not want It to have any login button. I wondered if making admin model ( few admins made in seeds for example) and adding login button that is invisible - I thought of using CSS opacity for this one. Is this a good solution ? Is there any other good practice in these sitations? Please dont be afraid to post suggestions. Additionally this is a serious page (my first job as freelancer), so I wonder if my solution is... acceptable? Thanks in advance for any answers!
This quite a standard thing in the web. Most of the websites consists of two parts, customer facing part (sometimes called frontend) and admin panel (called backend). In your case you don't need any login to access frontend part, but you need one for backend part.
Creating hidden button is not needed at all. There simply should be no button at all. If you want to log in as an admin, you simply navigate to http://my-website-url.com/admin.
I wouldn't bother with roles et unless your client specified clearly that he needs them.
Even though this is simple I would still suggest adding a role to a user model. After all he may want to have some user functionality later on. The simplest way to do this would be to use devise and add a role enum column.
Check out the article below and look under the "Enum" section.

Drupal - form or content type and general how to do it?

(I know there is a module, but I'm trying to learn on my own)
I basically want some kind of form or page where I create a form for an administrator.
So, the administrator can fill in the question and can add more than one right answer. Sorta like a multiple choice question with more than one answer.
The user will go ahead and answer the question.
Do, I create a content type? Do I use form api instead. Not sure at this moment how to go about it.
Thanks.
The Quiz module provides tools for authoring and administering quizzes through Drupal. A quiz is given as a series of questions, with only one question appearing per page. Scores are then stored in the database.
From what I get, you can create a custom drupal module and use form api for creating Multipage forms and add pragmatically add validaters for adding you correct result before moving to the next page/form.
Writing a simple. Hope this helps and contact if you need help.

Different registration forms for different types of users

This is my first time building a site with Drupal (7). I have plenty experience with LAMP, HTML/CSS and javascript, but I want to make sure I am doing things the 'Drupal way' before I start hacking together a custom solution unnecessarily. I've searched forums and modules, but have come up empty.
The site I am building will have different tiers of users: students, teachers, and parents. The difference between these users is:
The information collected during registration, and
The pages the user's have access to.
I think at least part of the solution lies with creating roles for each type of user, but it seems Drupal only has one registration page for all users. How would I create a different registration form for each type of user? What is the 'usual' way of assigning roles to users automatically?
I know this is late the game here but I thought I might refer people to the "Rules" module... Instead of thinking about this from the "user-specific" registration form perspective, think of it instead from the perspective that you still have only 1 form but with additional / optional inputs, whereby subsequent actions (rules) are then enacted upon depending on the values of said additional / optional fields.

how do i make diffrent registration form in drupal?
I'm just updating my answer as I see it didn't apply for D7.
I've just begun developing a D7 site with a similar request.
There seems to be a module which should fit perfectly, although I still have to try it:

Good luck with it.

Daily question in my drupal website

I am new to drupal so may be my question will be very dumb.
I want to show daily questions on my website which is build using drupal. The question is of multiple choice and the options should be displayed by default. The visitor will simply click on the ans and press submit to ans. It seems to be like a poll but i dont want to show the summary on submission instead i want to show the correct ans.
Thanks in advance :)
The Quiz module provides, well, quizzes and supports multi-choice questions. After a quiz has been fully answered, it provides various display option. It may suits your need if you use single-question quizzes.
For the quiz to be daily, you may have to add some code or use additional module to handle automatic creation, publication and de-publication of your daily quizzes.
I don't know of any module that will do this out of the box, but the built-in, core module "poll" will do something terribly close.
To get the exact functionality you desire, you could simply override the template files for poll to make it so that it does not display the results upon submission. Then you could make a comment on the poll that contains the correct answer. (You can do this without allowing others the ability to comment.) This would effectively meet the given requirements.
Anyway I know its not a perfect solution, but it would give you the described requirements without too much work.

Implementing Google Accounts' OpenID like Stackoverflow

Firstly, This question may be asked. But I could not get the information i am looking for.
I am creating a website which should take to google.com where the user enters his account information and it redirect back to my website similar to how stack over flow is doing when we click on gmail image.
I am trying to implement a website in .net.
Please list a step by step procedure to implement it or suggest some documentation to follow.
I clearly dont want other types of openID implemention where u enter the open id and pick ur open id provider.
Thanks in advance.

Both has shown example using DotNetOpenAuth - The former list other library named ExtremeSwank.
I used www.janrain.com and it was simple enough to do.
It also has the advantage of allowing you to use other vendors without any extra - not only gmail.
Oh, and it's free!
