XCode 4 - Build settings : default values are still bold - xcode4

I have a project with 2 targets.
On both, there are some build settings I've changed to Yes, then back to No.
The iOS default is NO, the project is on NO, each build setting is on NO... but the setting is still bold (value changed).
As for settigns that takes strings, like Search pathes. I've put some search pathes, then removed them, and the line is still bold, even the green cell is shown to outline... no change.
How may I fix this to have a good visual ?

In Xcode 4 you can use the Delete key on your keyboard. In Xcode 3, there is an item in the action menu about deleting the setting from this level. I can't remember the wording exactly.

Counterintuitive as it looks, solution is to select the whole setting line and hit cmd-delete

Sometimes, especially with multi-line items, hitting delete or cmd-delete does not work. For those items I just resort to setting the first line to $(inherited). This means the item is still bold, but it will otherwise have the correct value.

How do I dismiss an autocomplete suggestion in Atom?

When I'm writing Docstrings in Python3, I'm ending all of my sentences with periods and I see an autocomplete suggestion like this:
In this case it wants to replace the string "wager." with "wagerself."
If I press Enter or Tab the string replaces. I've messed around with all the logical buttons (Including adding an extra space which doesn't work), and nothing will allow me on my merry way to a newline.
This problem occurs both with and without the autocomplete-python package installed.
I do want to use auto-complete when I type a dot after an object, just not in the comments.
Is there a way to either:
Dismiss the autocomplete suggestion as they come up.
-- or --
Change the autocomplete to be aware of the context, i.e. not autocomplete dots when I'm in a string/comment.
From experimenting with different key combos, ctrl + enter will ignore the suggestion and allow you to go to the next line without altering what you've typed.
I haven't found any documentation around this, so I'm not sure if there's a similar key combo for tab or not. I couldn't find anything myself beyond alt + tabing to lose focus, which causes the suggestion to go away, then alt + tabing back to hit tab, which obviously isn't ideal.
I'm using Atom 1.44.0 on Windows and have found that shift + enter works to dismiss an autocomplete suggestion. No luck with tab on this platform though.
I use atom extensively, and have found that a quick left-right cursor move will leave the typed text in place and will NOT reactivate the suggestion list, unless more characters are typed. You can then type and move on to the next line.
I was actually searching myself for a way to exclude "then" from the autocomplete action, because I have text in other locations that has it as a commented "Then". I was hoping to find a way to exclude that word completely, but thought to share my work-around for that little bit, instead.
I am having the same problem where my text is getting replaced with cached words where if I wanted to type “manage” but if I have used “management “ before, I will get the text what I don’t want if I press enter. I went into preferences and followed the same steps mentioned in the below article and once the preferences are changed, I don’t see the word suggestions anymore. I felt so relieved.

Deleting demo rows in a 2sxc list (2sxc 8.5.6)

If a blank demo row (denoted as (0)), gets created in a list by mistake you are able to see it in the 'Manage content-item lists' window, but they have no edit icon or any way to delete them. Is there another way to get rid of these extra unwanted items? they also don't show in the admin area.
Thanks!
The reason you don't see it is because it doesn't really exist yet. It's just a slot / placeholder. So there is no item.
Basically you should only have this in situations where you have list-enabled, hit the round (+) for add another placeholder-item. I believe the (-) is missing on the first item, because that could cause side-effects.
There is a way to go into advanced admin to remove it, but it's hard as this is not a normal thing to do - when you have a list, you usually want to add content.
Since you have not added any data yet, I would simply remove the module and add another one - that's easier than going the advanced admin.

Missing Attributes Inspector from XCode Utilities area

I don't know what I did...
At the moment, I only have the File and Quick Help Inspectors in my Utilities area. I'm missing all others, in particular the Attributes Inspector.
I've tried View > Utilties, but only see File and Quick Help... missing the others.
They were there earlier. Not sure at what point they went missing. I'm still getting used to the Mac keyboard and may have hit keys that caused this to happen.
Any ideas on how to get the missing inspectors back?
They're contextual. The extra inspectors appear depending on what you have selected. If you don't have a xib selected in the project navigator and an item selected within it, you get no attribute inspector since there's nothing with attributes to inspect...

Disable --COMMAND-- and --INSERT-- mode in QtCreator's texteditor

Somehow I managed to get QtCreator's text mode into --COMMAND-- or --INSERT-- mode.
I don't care what it is or how it works. How do I get rid of it?
All I care about is normal text-editing without these strange modes.
One of them lets me select text-parts but not delete them.
My mouse-cursor is now even missing.
May be, you've enabled fakevim in settings. Then, disable it.

plist editing in XCode 4: Can you not move rows anymore?

This one is stupid, and there's probably a ridiculously simple answer I'm just not aware of:
I'm trying to edit the plist for my Settings.bundle to implement preferences in my app. I want to tweak the order of a few groups, but I can't figure out how to move rows around. In XCode 3 you could just drag rows around to rearrange them, but it seems this no longer works in XCode 4. Short of deleting everything and re-recreating them in the correct order, how can I re-arrange the rows?
Thanks.
You can move an entry by grabbing the right side and moving it up, you just can't move it down.
I think it's an annoying gotcha that quite a few have run in to.
Check out:
How do you change a plist's root object type to NSArray in Xcode 4
and:
Change the editor Xcode 4 uses for property lists?
Basically, you can't. Changing the plist editor to textedit was the best solution for me. Also you can right click on the plist file and select "Open As > Source Code" to edit the plist raw.
It looks like the same problem is back in XCode 5. By grabbing it on the right you can drag it around, but you can't drop it anywhere. The only way I found was to open the list as source code like #Ralphleon said, which is simple enough to do if you have basic XML skills.
Update: With the new XCode that comes with Lion and iOS 5, moving rows works again.
Yes the order matters if you care about the order the preferences appear in your app settings.
I just create a new item (+) in the settings list where I would like an existing item placed. Then copy (right mouse click) that existing item and paste it on top of the new item. And then delete any duplicates.
In XCode 5.1, you can drag rows and drop them to a parent item. You can't rearrange siblings directly, but by dropping them on the parent item, the child jumps to the top among the siblings.
Check out the app PlistEdit Pro. It handles everything properly. Not free. But if you're doing lots of plist work it's essential.
