Wordpress is acting crazy when posting comments, showing a "500 Internal Server Error" every time a comment is submitted trough the comment form.
The comment is inserted successfully but you get the error screen, this does not happen when submitting an empty form, then you get the error page from wordpress stating that you have to write something before commenting.
Is there anybody with a solution for this besides a reinstall?
Thanks
Thanks Anca, but this was not the case of malfunctioning plugins or themes.
The problem was related to the email service of the server. Since we are not using the email service in this domain we were experiencing problems with form submitting. Turning off the email service fixed the issue.
Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all your plugins - especially any that you recently installed that have to do with commenting.
If you are on shared hosting on Linux, you might be able to get to your error log through the domain control panel.

I get the following error when I try to access Wordpress admin login page of my client's site:
Sorry, your request cannot be accepted.
It opens for my client though. The client has not blocked my IP, or my country, then why is it happening?
Here is the wp-admin area. Does the page open for you?
Having a quick investigation, it looks like the issue is spawning from the plugin you have installed called IP Geo Block. https://wordpress.org/plugins/ip-geo-block/
I'd recommend disabling this plugin temporarily and attempting to login. If you're still having issues, it's worth creating a support ticket with that plugin maker.
All of my sites using Contact Form 7 has stoped working on submit. The response container "wpcf7-mail-sent-ng" says "An error occurred while sending the message. Please try again later."
I get the following feedback:
into:"#wpcf7-f112-o1"message:"An error occurred while sending the message. Please try again later."status:"mail_failed"
Any ideas how to resolve this? Kind of a big deal as a lot of my customers currently use CF7 on their sites.
Thx
EDIT
I have the same issues, wich started after the Wordpress 4.9.2 automatic update. I have tested sites that are running the same release of CF7 but on another version of Wordpress, and there are no issues then. Seems like a Wordpress problem right?
Also, nothing in the console, and I get the same message in the feedback under the Network tab in devtools.
For this issue, you can follow below steps,
These fixes include:
change the wordpress contact form area from section ([your-name] <[your-email]>) to info#yourserver.com.
add all fields inside
or
Use “WP Mail SMTP plugin”. Then you configure your mail server details.
WordPress Mail SMTP Plugin
Once you have sent an email
“Thank you for your message.” Possible to refresh the automatic page.
For me personally, I tried the first two options, but it only started working and sending emails after I installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin, and configured it to use the Gmail SMTP server (which required that I created a gmail account, as you need to provide a username and password when connecting to Gmail's server).
The problem is now resolved!
Turns out my hosting company hade issues with php mail()
To be sure this doesnt happen in the future you can follow Priyanka Modi's advice above and use WP Mail SMTP PLugin. Yet another plugin, but it works great.
I have newly installed WordPress copy on my live server but on google search it show
"this site might be hacked "
message under my site link. i have applied the search console verification method of uploading html file into root folder but this error is not gone. checked into Security options tab it shows "content injection" spam issue with my site but i have not found any accurate method to solve that issue .

This warning seems to be specific to SEO spam. From what I understand there are many different things that might be contributing to this. Since a couple of days ago our info site (WP) isn't working at all, which is strange because we haven't done any changes lately whatsoever. No error messages shows up and what happens is that it times out (same with admin interface).
It started with a couple of strange error messages that was connected to a couple of plugins (Google maps ready and YouTube widget responsive) and after disabling them through FTP they dissapeared but instead the site just load and load and then times out.
Because no error message is shown and we're not able to access the admin interface it is very hard to know what's wrong here. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this problem?
The site: inteokej.se/info
what I can see is your site is having redirection loop. inteokej.se/info redirects to www.inteokej.se/info and vise versa. try to resolve that.
This problem occurred recently - if I am not logged into Wordpress, I am not able to add products to my WooCommerce cart. It redirects to the cart page as it should but shows 'Cart Empty'. Works perfectly when I am logged in as a user in any role. I searched around and found this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-woocommerce-cart-brokennot-adding-products
I've tried changing my session folder with a custom php.ini file but the problem is still persisting. I used Duplicator and set up an instance on my localhost - where it works without issues, so that tells me the problem isn't with the theme or the plugins. What other issues with hosting could be causing this?
For me the error was caused by Rackspace's "Varnish" script. it's a server-side caching tool that they use. I don't have more details than than. but once I alerted Rackspace, they fixed it pretty fast.
