Looking to toggle network connectivity in the iPhone simulator. This is on a mac mini with wired ethernet.
One suggestion was to turn the AirPort on/off but that had no effect in the simulator.
Suggestions?
You can pull the ethernet cable out. You may also be able to achieve what you want by disabling the port in System Preferences > Networking.

In the past, when I used Cisco packet tracer I was just able to take, for example, one Computer, use the black wire and connect it to another computer. Without any extra changes it would connect.
But this doesn't seem to work now, but strangely I can connect some devices (such as switches and Servers - but not Switches and Computers).
Here is what I tried out:
Picture of what I tried out
It would be amazing if somebody could help me.
When you connect device of the same type with an Ethernet Cable, such as Computer-Computer Switch-Switch Router-Router or Router-Computer, you need a crossover cable(EIA/TIA 568B) (black dotted line icon in the PacketTracer). If you would to leave the choise to Packet Tracer you can choose the thunderbolt icon in the connection menu, but I do not recommend it because you need to learn.
Has anyone figured a way of installing PPPD or something similar in order to have an active internet connection via a GSM modem on a Raspberry Pi 3 running on Android Things DP5?
Thank you!
Seems DP5 of Android Things still didn't support Internet connections via USB modem dongles (and it's impossible to add support manually, because as in this answer of Blundell described: the source code is not available for Developer Preview). But You can use UART and AT commands like AT+SAPBR.
I played for the hole day with my Lilypad USB, and out of the blue it stopped working.
The port in the Arduino IDE is gray (even if i am running as an admin). The device is no more shown the /dev/ or in the device manager for window.
In windows when i plug the device is and push the reset button twice i can see the device under other devices but after a few second the device disappears.
How can i resolve this matter? Is there another hardware factory reset method?
Please help.

I am using Ableton Live 6 Lite with M-Audio Fast Track connected through USB port. I am having the following issue which I do not know how to resolve: I cannot simultaneously use sound recording with the above mentioned setup and a USB connected keyboard (just a regular USB keyboard which I use with my Toshiba Laptop PC). Either keyboard is not working or no sound reaches Ableton Live software. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
It sounds like you are using a USB hub which does not have its own power source. You are drawing too much current so only one device can be powered at a time. Use USB ports directly on your computer or get a USB hub with its own power adapter.
I would like to control an Arduino device with a Motorola phone.
I have a Lilypad (preferred), an Uno, and a Mega Arduino board and I have two Motorola phones (a Droid Bionic and a Droid Razr Maxx) both running Android 4.1.2. According to an App called "USB Host Diagnostics" neither phone has USB Host Mode capability.
A variety of sites suggest the problem is that the phone doesn't provide enough power to the Arduino. Their solution requires cutting up and reconnecting the wires inside the cables. Others say the creation of a special "dongle" solves the problem, as long as it is in the phone when it starts to boot up but is removed before it finishes. Others suggest that it requires rooting the phone, which I'm afraid is probably beyond my comfort level and skill set. And many of these postings are several years old.
Has anyone figured out an smarter/better way to either enable or work-around the host mode capability issue of these phones? Or would it just be easier to find a used Nexus or Galaxy phone?
