We have an app that wants to save users time when they create their profile. Ideally this would happen by tapping into LinkedIn's API and get the work experience and education background.We heard the LinkedIn partner program might offer that.

We need to use LinkedIn for both or either of the following:
Pull-out user information e.g. Employers, Years worked with a
particular employer, Education etc. from LinkedIn Profile
When a user provide us data about their Employers, Years worked
with, Education etc. we can validate it with their LinkedIn Profile.
I want to know if it's possible.
I am using Linked Share API to share posts on LinkedIn accounts.
After post is shared, LinkedIn returns the ID of the post.
Now I want to use that ID and call the LinkedIn API to get count of shares, comments and likes for that post.
But I cannot find anything in their documentation. Is there a way for me to get these data?

I integrated LinkedIn People Search API in my iOS app. I am sening requests to this API, but I am getting access denials from LinkedIn. In the documentation, LinkedIn says that this API requires the developer to be registered as a LinkedIn Partner, in order to be able to access it.
I filled in the LinkedIn Partnership Program form (https://developer.linkedin.com/partner-programs/apply) in order to get access to LinkedIn People Search API. Our app involves users to sign up using LinkedIn and add company pages to measure engagements.Till now any user can add any company page even if he is not a admin of it.
After the new LinkedIn Developer updates, will company updates be available to users who are not admin of the company page?
If not, what will be solution to access the updates and measure the engagement on the updates?
Which partner program should we subscribe to get LinkedIn company updates?
I've chatted with a few people from LinkedIn and the answer is no. You will not be able to access the company resource without the particular auth'd LinkedIn Account having admin access that company page.
I unfortunately do not have an easy answer for you regarding the partner program, there are many.
