a client of mine is a Beauty products supplier and they have asked us the following question:
"We are getting asked by beauty training schools if they referred us to their students, could we offer a discount and a kickback credit/cash for doing so.
Is there any way we can do this and keep track of the spending against a code?"
I have looked at affiliate program plugins but none of them seem to do what the client is wanting. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong area and should be looking at coupon plugins - or is there an alternate way we can achieve this like by creating a form on their website for referrals?
Thanks in advance.
You should try woocommerce and woocommerce affiliate marketing plugins.

I am new here for Wordpress and website development and I have a few questions to ask, so would like to seek advices from your expertise. The post is a little bit long as I combined the questions into 1 post, please accept my apologies in advance :D
Q1: I am building the website with Elementor page builder in wordpress, but one of the challenges I am facing now is that I cannot find a widget that allows me to build Product Selection Page like this Product Selection Page Image
May I know if I want to develop the website to this kind of design, is there anyway I can do it without coding? If yes, can you please also suggest me how should I do it?
Q2: Is there any free widget / plugins I can use if I want to develop the Booking & Payment page to something like this? Booking & Payment Page Image From my research so far, those free booking softwares out there only provide booking functions, if want to add payment function will have to subscribe / pay for it.
And the booking softwares do not provide API, so is there any way that we can extract the data without API?
As my client has budget issue, so is there any other alternatives that I can go with? Or it has to be coded by own self? (if must be this design)
Q3: Let's say after a customer had done booking and payment, by right we should direct them to a Confirmation / Thank You Page. But how do I link the "date" and "package" to their prior selection? As each customer may selection is different. (Please refer to the red lines and circle in the image) Confirmation / Thank you Page
And how do I add the "Add to Google Calendar" function? As I do not see any widget that can do this as well.
Thank you for spending your time to read this post. Appreciate for your time and effort
OK so I know this isn't exactly a code-specific question, but I'm out of luck in my research to find a way to make a search only product in WordPress using WooCommerce. I have 10,000 products I need to have available to buy on the website, however the majority of them are very small and specific. SO I need a way to have products on my website that aren't visible in the catalog, but can be found by search, specifically by their part numbers. This seems like a common occurrence in the world of eCommerce so perhaps there is already a way to do this in WooCommerce and I'm just missing it. Or does anyone know of a plugin that will achieve this?
Anything will help, thanks!
I think there are many plugins that can help you with this. Try for example this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-woo-search/
I am working on a eCommerce site. My client wants to develop site like this http://lanyardpeople.co.uk. Where someone can order a product and he can customize the product option. All the options will be arranged in several tabs.
I tried to do it in woocommerce but it is not well documented and very hard to understand their API.
Please suggest me with any other eCommerce software with that requirements.
I doubt you will succeed searching for a ready made solution. WooCommerce is an extremely good free shopping cart solution and I would stick with that. Then I would use some extension like WooCommerce Product Add-Ons AND hire a developer that would do the fancy part. You won't get away without custom development here.
So as the name suggests I would like to know if its possible to Have a coupon set up on woocommerce that when entered at the checkout it adds in a free product to the order.
Can this be done or is this something woocommerce could not handle.
If anyone knows of any plugins etc I would be extremely grateful
From your question, you are asking if there's a way for users to enter a coupon that when entered gives free products?
It is possible with Woocommerce, out of the box it has it's coupon management. You can even exclude products which is useful!
Read more about this here http://docs.woothemes.com/document/coupon-management/
It's very simple to get up and running!
I realize this question is old but figured I would point out there's a plugin available for rather cheap that can handle this. I'm not the author, nor do I use the plugin, but it should take care of this functionality:

I'm creating a dig like site with wordpress, TDO Mini forms and Vote it up where people who live in the city can log on, post their ideas of how to improve the city and have others vote.
on the home page there are 2 columns. right is the TDO submit form. left are the "Most Wanted" items. the posts with the highest rating. I've found an impressive lack of information on this plugin. im not great with php but i can make do most of the time.
I want to output the post title, post author, links for yes and no votes as well as have the titles in the left column list in most popular order. preferably id like the home pages to have only the top 5 or so highest rated posts.
I cant find any way to output that information as i need. I was really hoping there was a simple way to call the highest rated post titles in the loop for the main page but there doesnt seem to be a way. Bout the only thing i've found is the DisplayVotes tag which isnt incredibly helpful.
does anybody know how i can accomplish this, or can provide some expert advise? help would be immensely appreciated.
I was ready to download your plugin. Too bad it is not done.
