How to disable Cache in Symfony 5.2? - symfony

How can I completely disable the cache in Symfony 5.2?
I use PHP config file (services.php) and not the yaml ones.
In the docs, I cannot find anything matching.

How to generate document with Symfony 3.4 using Symfony flex

With Symfony flex, one of the change is that there is no default bundle when using the symfony/skeleton.
I don't find a way to use the command doctrine:mongodb:generate:documents in this context.
Could you please tell me how to use it ?

There is a similar issue with doctrine orm and doctrine:generate:entities. The Doctrine team discourages users from using these commands and therefore does no longer want to maintain them.
I think the easiest workaround I've seen so far is:
Create a Symfony 3.3 style application using the Symfony installer.
Generate the entities in the AppBundle as you did before
Change the namespace from AppBundle to App.
Move the files into your Symfony 4 project.
Some of the Symfony team also set out to provide similar code generation in a MakerBundle. As far as I can tell there is nothing for generating ODM-style entities, but you could open an issue or contribute something for this yourself.

The MongoDBBundle requires you have "Bundle" but with Symfony flex you are using FrameworkBundle and not "AppBundle" unless you created it before, I think you have not created it, so it tells you that it does not exist.
You can not use the "FrameworkBundle" either beacause FrameworkBundle have other namspace and other base path, so the command to generate the documents does not know where the files are.
After a lot of time figuring out how to diry-fix it:
Create custom Bundle inside your project (EX: AppCoreBundle)
Define custom mapping inside packages/doctrine_mongodb.yaml (change type value if you use xml or yaml)

Change the directory "src" to "App" to avoid issues then update psr-4 namaspace inside composer.json: "App\\": "App/"
Move all Documents to the Bundle Document directory and change package names.
You will also have to change ALL references to "src" directory in your project, for example in services.yaml.
Then execute: rm -rf var/cache/* && composer install to force to clear cache and refs.
Then execute: php bin/console doctrine:mongodb:generate:documents AppCoreBundle
Important!
This solution solves compatibility problems with MongoODMBundle with Symfony 4 but it is not a correct way. The right fix involves modifying the behavior of the bundle or Symfony 4.

Disable Memcache from Symfony project on dev environment

This is current code I use in config.yml how can I specify that Memcache not cache data on memcache->set() method on dev envirioment and to works normally on production.
Is there is some kind of flag that can turn off Memcache ?
I'm not familiar with Memcache but common approach to cases like this is using separate config.yml per environment:
Move your current memcached entry from config.yml to config_prod.yml (in production environment memcached will work as before)
In config_dev.yml add similar memcached entry but with another class - you might need to create such class, it will probably need to extend Memcache class and override methods you want to behave differently (i.e. set()).
In this config you will have different Memcache classes for different environments and in dev environment your Memcache class will be "dummy", meaning not doing anything.
This is regular config.yml.

You will notice that below is added - [ flush ] method
It is not kill memcache proccess but clear all stored data making them like expired.

Provide Doctrine with custom cache factory for second level cache

Background: we're using Symfony 3.1 + Doctrine 2.5.5 + symfony doctrine bundle.
While trying to enable second level caching for our entities, we have encountered the following issue. If we use NONSTRICT_READ_WRITE, everything works fine. However, when we tried to use READ_WRITE, we got the following error

As far as I understood, we need to actually implement our own version of ConcurrentRegion and CacheFactory to make it work (FileLockRegion does not suit us due to its usage of file system to handle cache locks). So I wrote those implementations, but the main issue now lies in following: I cannot find where to put my custom factory class' name in the configuration. We have tried the following locations in config:

However, even though this config is considered valid, when we actually try to access the entity with configured caching, we get the error 0), which makes us think that this option is being ignored by doctrine/symfony.
Is there any way to do it via .yml config at all? Doctrine docs only propose to implement CacheFactory and provide a PHP code example, but it's still quite unclear where should this PHP code go, even if we decide to abandon the idea of putting our class in .yml config and go the PHP way.

I'm currently working on an application involving the dynamic router. To customise the url generator I followed the documentation found here. Unfortunately it doesn't work, the following exception occurs:

This feature is only available in version 1.4 of RoutingBundle, which is not yet released. You can already start to use it with
symfony-cmf/routing-bundle: 1.4.*#dev
The release should happen in the next days, and we don't expect many changes for 1.4 anymore, so this should be pretty safe.

Symfony2 - integration of ckeditor and sonata media bundle

I am trying to integarte IvoryCKEditor with sonata media bundle. Perpose is to allow image uploads in ckeditor. I tried it using a CoopTilleulsCKEditorSonataMediaBundle but i keep getting an error:
An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Unable to generate a URL for the named route "admin_sonata_media_media_ckeditor_browser" as such route does not exist.") in "IvoryCKEditorBundle:Form:ckeditor_widget.html.twig".

You should check your routes with the command:
$ php app/console debug:router | grep ckeditor
Then you have to replace admin_sonata_media_media_ckeditor_browser and admin_sonata_media_media_ckeditor_upload by routes founded with this command, in the config of ivory_ck_editor (maybe in your config.yml or your ivory_ckeditor.yml file)
If you don't have route for ckeditor, I think you should check if you install correctly the bundle.
1) install SonataFormatterBundle 2) add the bundle and its dependencies in AppKernel 3) config files 4) CLEAR CACHE 5) roll
Reason of the issue
This problem arises when trying to integrate CKEditor through the
SonataFormatterBundle without using the SonataAdminBundle.
In fact, the integration proposed by the SonataFormatterBundle is meant to only work for the SonataAdminBundle, and no easy integration for a custom admin bundle is currently available.
Note that this dependency is not specified in the documentation at the moment.
How to solve the problem
Simply install the SonataAdminBundle following this installation process. You do need to configure the bundle entirely as specified in the documentation. To add the routes that were missing, such as admin_sonata_media_media_ckeditor_browser, simply add the following to your config/routes.yml:

Just to add something.
If you are SURE that you have installed, all dependencies, and set all configs correctly, and still getting this error, then the cause may be that you have defined your 'sonata_media' prefix in routing.yml differently.
You can check all urls in your project in:
app/cache/dev/appDevUrlGenerator.php
In there you will find ALL routes in a variable $declaredRoutes
Afterwards simply put correct route name for browsing.
It will not work without SonataMediaBundle - you will need to install it with SonataFormatterBundle
Sonata become too complicated as for me, so I just use IvoryCKEditorBundle directly
