I'm trying to use an opensource angular template in my angular project. I wan't to know what is the best practice to do this. Should I get the UI source and add that inside my project? or should I do npm install this as a dependency?
This template provides only a zip file containing the project files. Can somebody please shed me some light on this. What is the best way to use this template in my angular project ?
Sidenote: I also wish to use another template in my project made for a user dashboard.
Thanks

Please excuse me this project is still is construction phase and I'm in learning path. I have manually downloaded the bootstrap code and placed it in static folder.

I want to know if there is a way where we can run a command it will upgrade the bootstrap and its dependencies.
Thanks in advance for your help!.
You can use Bower for managing your web packages. It is written for node js so you need to install this as well. This is a very common way to manage your frontend packages like jQuery, Bootstrap, ...
I need to add Meteor framework to existing module.
As I can see this option is available for new modules (static web->Meteor app).
But I can't find how to make this with existing module.
You just ope the project containing .meteor folder and make sure the meteor plugin is active.
Settings->Languages & Frameworks->Javascript->Templates
Tick "Open HTML files as Handlebars/Mustache" option.
I have several alike project and i want to skip the process of creating new file and project for every project. I read about project template and i wonder if someone has a good tutorial or reference so that i can implement my project templates. Its basically IPhone development please help.
It's not trivial to add new templates to the ones Apple supplies with Xcode, but one easy solution is that you can create an empty project with just the bare things you want to be common between all of your projects. Then duplicate your new pseudo-template app and you can customize and fill out the code from there.
If you do want to create custom Xcode project templates, here is a tutorial I found that might help you out.
I have two flex projects: A project with my custom theme and another project in which I want to use my custom theme. However, every time I modify the theme, I have to import it again, clean and refresh the project. I am using Flash Builder 4.5. Does anybody know a better way to use the custom themes?
I found the solution to the problem. It is not that difficult and the results are great; you will be able to edit the theme, go to the design view of the project using the theme and see the results (no imports, no cleans, no refreshes).
Steps:
Open both projects at the same time in Flash Builder
In the main project (the project using the theme), go to Project > Properties > Flex Build Path
Select the Library Path tab and click Add Project
Select the project containing the theme
You're done! The main project will now depend on the theme and will recompile the theme every time you build.
Hope it helps!
I have a javascript project that is still in development;
Then I have another rails project that will use the javascript project;
I would like to have in "my-rails-project/public/javascript/" the link to the other javascript project.
I would like to be able to make changes within the rails-project and affect the javascript-project.
Is this possible and how?
thanks (:
This is general Eclipse thing and not related to Aptana in particular.
Simply start creating a new Folder and on the wizard page click "Advanced>>>", then choose Linked Folder and Browse to location of your javascript project.
That's it.
Cheers,
