AR.js and A-Frame example - aframe

I am looking for an example of how to trigger images and then play a video.
It is a very simple use case: In a newspaper, videos can be watched regarding the articles, if the image is an marker.
All samples I have seen loads a 3D model or something like that. Do I need a layer in which the video plays?
Thank you!

Asp.net How to set position for link buttons on a map

I am creating a search page based on continents. And I need to let the user click(choose) a continent and based on this choice. I do backend logic.
What I tried is to set a world map as a background of a div. And on this map I put the linkbuttons that represent the continent (as attached).
The problem is when I resize the screen the linkbuttons go into wrong positions. So please help me to find a way to PIN the buttons (continent names) to the map when resize or open the page on different screens.
Thank you.
Here is a link to a youtube video that shows you how to use google maps API. This may make what you are doing a little easier. I recently used this to create a mobile tour app.
Google Maps API
Thanks for trying to help. I just solved the problem and likeed to share the solution.
I have solved this using map on the image. So I made the continents clickable on the image without putting any controls on the image.

Tool for creating preview images from equirectangular Panoramas

I am looking for a tool or library that will allow me to generate a preview image for an equirectangular panoramic image. I am using the pannellum library [https://pannellum.org] to present panoramas, which works great. What I'd like to add, however, is a way to generate lightweight preview images to display on initial page load. I would like to have a small sized preview image that does not look warped. Does such a tool/library/script exist?
Thank you!
Dave
Some people like to convert panoramas to cube maps, which is a lot easier to google.
I've been looking at https://github.com/denivip/panorama, or also at https://stackoverflow.com/a/43469036/2471983 if you want a pure JavaScript approach (check out that entire question page for lots of info). Both of these will by default create all six cube faces; you can either edit them or just throw out the five extra faces.
Once you have this unprojected image, you can resize it using whatever utility you like.

JavaFX - How to get a random thumbnail / picture from a movie?

Is it possible to get a random picture from a video in JavaFx?
I know there is a snapshot() method provided by MediaView, but the thing is, I wanna get a picture of each video I loaded BEFORE it was displayed in MediaView.
I need those pictures to create previews in my library, hopefully you realize what is meant.
Thanks in advance for any idea or suggestion :)

Youtube like timeline with sparks scrubbar

I would like to transform my current scrubbar into a youtube like timeline.
Like when you hover the scrubbar on a certain point in time a thumbnail is shown.
Also that point should have a different colour on the scrubbar.
Is this possible or do I need to use another component and how?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Google does some extra work when they add a video. They generate those thumbnails. And theirds them ahead of time. That is why you can see thumbnails of sections ov video that have not loaded yet. If you want to make one yourself, you need to generate thumnails of each video you would use. An ide would be to include the timecode into the file name. So for a flv called MyVideo, you would have thumbs for MyVideo001.jpg for one second, etc.

Soundcloud HTML5 Volume Control

I have a track on my website which utilizes the soundcloud HTML5 player. I was wondering if there is any way I can make it a little quieter that way it doesn't shock the viewer upon opening my page. If anyone could lead me in the right direction as to how to alter the players volume on soundcloud it would be much appreciated :D
I know it has something to do with javascript: setVolume(volume) but I'm not familiar with JavaScript so if someone could help me out that'd be great. I want the volume to be at 50%.
If need be, i could also use the flash player.
I'm fine with using either HTML5 or flash player, I just want the volume to be set at 50% when someone plays it.
You can do this by using the Widget API
Basically, the widget is embedded into your page with an iframe. Give the iframe an id, include the API library (linked above) and then it's really simple.
SC.Widget('myIframeId').setVolume(50);
