Max no of buttons on a single page - xamarin.forms

How many buttons one can have on a single page in xamarin.forms?
I am using a grid and in each grid another grid with scrolled stack layouts here in these stack layouts im adding buttons dynamically. This results in more than a 100 buttons will it overload the interrupts

Kendo Grid not rendering properly using Hierarchal Grids with many columns

I am currently using a Hierarchical Kendo Grid. You can see some exmples from kendo what I am trying to acomplish foud at this link: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/grid/hierarchy .
Now I have it all working properly as I want, except for how it renders. I have over 15 columns in the child grids within each row, and when I do a horizontal scroll to view them all, the styling all falls apart on the kendo UI.
If you look closely you will see that once a scroll occurs the headers of the parent rows do not stay fixed with the data, and the child grids, the rows extend beyond the rendered view. Has anyone come across this issue, and does any one know what I can do to address this?
If the child grid columns do not fit due to their number or large widths, then enable scrolling for the detail grids.

Add fixed sized items to grid layout in correct row

I am trying to create a grid layout of images kind of like how google images does it.
I want to add fixed sized images left to right, top to bottom but I am having trouble is figuring out when adding another image to a row would make it not fit and then decide that that images should be placed in a new row.
Also when the window resizes it should move images into/from rows based on how many it can fit in.
Ive got a scroll area with a grid layout in it which is fine if I know what can fit, but I can't figure out how to make it move items if say the window width is shrunk, and say an item needs to be moved down 1 row which moves other etc.
Assuming you are using QWidgets I'd suggest you to use QListView which does the layouting for free, if you want more control on how items are displayed use a QItemDelegate. For QListView the view mode should be set to QListView::IconMode so that you have a grid of items and not a list.
But if you are using QtQuick things are much easier, a GridView with Image delegates would do what you want really quickly and using GPU power to build you UI.

Pagination Control with tableview / max rows per page

I want to use Pagination control with a tableview. A dependency is, that the amount of rows in a page is less or equal the amount of max visible rows in the table viewport.
The vertical scrollbar should be invisible and navigation is handled by pagination control buttons.
Are there any best practices about how to do that?

User resize able widgets like 3D modeling programs

I am using qt designer and python. I want to make a layout where a user can drag widgets to control the size while at the same time scaling properly with the window. Basically all 3d modeling programs have this function, usually it has a top left right and perspective view. The user can drag the edges to resize each view and it will maintain that aspect ratio when the main window is resized. My question is similar to this: active resizing of widgets inside mainwindow but I would like to do it in qt designer.
So what I have found is the layout horizontal/vertical splitter. However I am only able to layout two widgets horizontally, and another two widgets horizontally, then grid layout. This makes it look similar to what I want except I want the top and bottom horizontal layouts to also be re-size able.

I have been able to do this with putting both horizontal split views in a group box and then splitting the two group boxes, however that makes each widget independent and does not let the user grab the middle axis to control all 4 views.
You are essentially asking for a splitter than works across two axes - no such standard widget exists. So you will have to create your own.

When using a container powered by itemrenderers, is there a way to make the rendering not stall?

I'm developing on Flex 4. I have a datagrid container and custom itemrenderer with a text field, a button and a few boxes. Every time some data is displayed, the app stalls for a second or two before rendering completely. Is there any way to make it render more fluidly or render one after another...?
Is your renderer setting percentage-based dimensional information in a commitProperties() or updateDisplayList() override? For example, if you set a percentWidth and percentHeight, you want to do that only once, so do that in the constructor.
If you do it in another method that gets called over and over, your whole grid will be resizing and rerendering each cell until every cell has been satisfactorily sized and measured. So if your grid is 10 columns by 20 rows, that means it has to render completely at least 200 times before it's happy with its cell dimensions.
