How To Retrieve All Time Tracking Events from Gitlab API - gitlab-api

I'm trying to query gitlab ce api v4 to get all time spend and time estimate events. Querying issues seems to only provide current total time stats. Does anyone know how to do this?
My goal is to be able to get daily/weekly time stats for a group's projects.

I think that you can't get daily/weekly directly, but there are different solutions which already implement what you need.
This one for example: https://github.com/kriskbx/gitlab-time-tracker/tree/master/src as you can see here: https://github.com/kriskbx/gitlab-time-tracker/blob/master/src/gtt-report.js#L35 provides what you need.

Google Analytics Real-time + historical data

I work for a non-profit that needs to see how our fundraising efforts are going in 'real-time'.
We look at results in blocks of about a half hour - so we need to report on how we finished the last 24 hours or so and also where we're at in the current half-hour. We're accomplishing this through google analytics, as we have multiple fundraising streams all pointing to a common GA account.
I have tried using datastudio to report against the GA API, but that connector does not seem to refresh at a reliable rate - someitmes it'll pull fresh data within a minute, sometimes it can take twenty minutes to report on recent transactions. I believe the 'real-time' API could be used to get fresher GA data, but as far as I can tell, that will only report 'live' data, and not prior/historical data (say from four hours ago). Does anyone know what API I could use if any to pull all data historical through current datetime?
I apologize if this request is vague, but I'm just looking for a conceptual approach at this point to get the freshest data - preferably in one fell swoop (API call). There is more complexity post-data intake (I have to then compare it to goals we've set for each half-hour, amongst other nuances to the transacitons themselves), so i wanted to start with this fundamental piece/question.
Thanks!
Given the context provided, I believe that the API solution would not be feasible. Among other reasons:
The real time API only offers a limited amount of dimensions and metrics. For example, e-commerce data is not available.

https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/realtime/dimsmets
The Standard intraday processing SLA for the Core Reporting API is < 24 hours for standard properties. The processing occurs on a best effort basis. Meaning that an hourly availability can occur from time to time but can not be guaranteed.

As an alternative approach to the API solution, you could consider the use of an App + Web property which would allow you to stream event data in real time to BigQuery. However, this solution has some cost implications and would introduce you to a new tracking paradigm.

What the best clockify API endpoint to get time entries of (grouped by) saved reports?

Asking here, after asking to Clockify support.
Trying to extend some of clockify capabilities to create extra reporting for our clients,
I’ve been playing with your API and specifically: the enpoint /reports/{reportsId}
• My goal:
Get all the time entries of a specific "saved report” (usually saved by our Project Managers)
• What I EXPECT from "/reports/{reportsId}”:
To get all the info and entities (users, time entries, projects, etc.) only regarding that particular reportId
• What I GET from "/reports/{reportsId}”:
Lots of info regarding the whole workspace, and I only see summaryReport
as more “specific to the saved report itself”...
• Questions:
Is this the correct behavior?
How do you filter down time entries of specific reports in URLs like https://clockify.me/bookmarks/BOOKMARK_HASH_HERE ?
Do you only call "/reports/{reportsId}” and filter down on client-side? (it seems to me that way, exploring the Network tab)
If that’s the way, what’s the point of calling the report endpoint? Only for the summaryReport object?
3- Is "/reports/{reportsId}” the best endpoint I can use to reach my goal? …or which way would you recommend me?
summaryReport.timeEntries will contain all the individual time entries from that particular report. Each entry has a user, project, client, time etc. Grouping by project is done on the client.
I'm not sure I fully understand your specific problem though. Are you suggesting the entries you get from the report endpoint do not belong to the given report?

Calculate % based on Total Events for Event Action in Google data studio

I just started to use Google Data Studio for creating a dashboard to get more insights in our data. Now I've created the table you can see below.
This is the data from the trackers on our video's. The first event action videotrackerStart is the total amount of people who started watching the video. What I want to do is calculate what percentage the rest of the event actions is from the videotrackerStart event.
So for example (176,985 / 222,468) * 100 = 79.5% and that for each action.
The problem I face, is that I don't know how to (if it is even possible) save the Total Events for videotrackerStart in a variable and use that value to create a new metric.
Does anyone know how I could get this done? I hope the question is clear, please let me know if not.
Thanks in advance!
Edit (2017/10/26): Percentage of total is now supported in Data Studio using Analytics Functions.
Original: Percentage of total for a metric is not yet supported in tables in Data Studio. You can Request this feature or vote for the feature in the existing feature request list.
To represent the same information visually you can try using barcharts.

How to track "page views per minute" using Google Analytics Real Time API?

I'm using the Google Analytics Real Time API (https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/realtime/v3/) to track the active visitors per minute. For this, I use the metric rt:activeVisitors. Everything is working fine.
However, I want to track the page views per minute, but I did not find any overview of available metrics.
Is it possible to fetch the current page views?
You can find a list of the Dimensions and metrics available in the RealTime API here : Dimensions & Metrics Reference
It doesnt look like page views is something you can see in the RealTime API
As seen here: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/reporting/realtime/dimsmets/pagetracking
You can use
rt:pageviews
the documentation is not really clear on the time frame. But my experiments seem to hint per minute.
The closest you can get is to use pagePath dimension and have activeVisitors as the basic metric (and the only one available, pretty much).
I don't think there is any real value in having live page view stats, you can find those in real time reports built-in standard GA reporting set anyway.

Google Analytics - Custom Alerts for Real-Time data

I'm looking to create a custom alert to notify me whenever X number of people are on the site at once. This data is already available using the Real-Time reports page. However, this does not seem possible via the Intelligence Events section. From there, I'm only able to create custom alerts based off Day, Week, or Month data. Has anybody found another area of Google Analytics that would make this type of report possible?
Google Analytics have just launched a Beta of their Real Time API which might let you do this: http://techcrunch.com/2013/08/01/google-launches-real-time-api-for-analytics-in-invite-only-beta/
You can use the real-time API for that. It's been possible for quite a few years now. You can find all the documentation for that right here. It's typical OAuth + JSON API.
You can also use a paid service. I built one, Metrics Watch. It really depends of your goal and how critical this is to your business/job. If it's critical, I would highly encourage you to look for a paid service, no matter which one.
Hope that helps!
