I am trying to redirect my domain to the wordpress site. I have tried changing the DNS settings, Set the CName but it still didn't work.
Kindly can anyone help me with this.

I bought a domain (www.domain.com) with godaddy.ca. Just the domain without the hosting.
I created a Wordpress website on a subdomain (sub.mydomain.it) on another hosting (Netsons).
Now I need to point the domain to the subdomain.
I tried the forwarding with masking through GoDaddy DNS Management, and it works. If I go to www.domain.com it redirects me as needed. I can see the content of the website on my subdomain.
Anyway, I still have all the internal links that show my subdomain.
How can I solve this?
Thank you for your help and sorry for the rough English.
I really appreciate.
We use wordpress and our subdomain sites recently started redirecting to our main site.
Exmaple, sub.example.com/products redirects to https://example.com/products and gets a 404.
I did notice if I add https:// in front of the subdomain it goes to the proper subdomain site. What would cause that? How would I fix that issue? I want the user to be able to put sub.example.com and get the proper site without needing to type in the https part.
The only thing that I remember changing recently was adding the ssl certificate.
Thanks!
I recently experienced this issue. Check for any wordpress plugins forcing HTTPs on any http domains. Or anything on your subdomain forcing https when it isn't an https site.
i have a wordpress website with this name mydomain.ir
i parked mydomain.com to this website. but when i type mydomain.com it redirect to mydomain.ir
i want to address stay on mydomain.com .
i try some plugins but didnt work properly.
my host service told that this is a worpress error and you should change your codes.
i tried this but didnt work too
what can i do to do this?
thanks for your answers
First of all, make sure that you have the correct url at wordpress settings. Check Settings->General and make sure that site and home urls ar the one you want.
Next, check if there is any kind of redirection at .htaccess file.
Then, check at your cpanel if you have added any redirection there.
Finally, make a search at your wordpress database for your unwanted domain name. Make sure to change all old urls to the new one. Try this plugin for that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/velvet-blues-update-urls/
Update:
Alternatively, you may want to mask your domain. This should be done through your domain name registrar.
I installed HTTPS on my website in WordPress . I use CloudFlare for it and I made changes to the URL in WordPress administration and the CloudFlare plugins etc.

My concern is the following I have HTTPS in my WordPress general settings . I have HTTPS in the permalinks confirmation page.
Only once editing a page or a project under the title permiliens the portfolio is in HTTP ...
I do not understand why it does not go into HTTPS ( for doing so on other sites I do not remember such a problem).
Can you help me?
First of all make sure that your site is only opening up with https and not with http and https.
In the WP general settings wordpress and site name should start with https
Then logout and then login back to wordpress admin. Post that your permalinks should start displaying as https. Also you need to change the internal links to https manually.
Let me know if that fixed the issue. I had similar problems with my site, for which i moved to https just yesterday. Also let me know if you did anything extra for your site.
I've got a question regarding wordpress and multiple domains. I've got two domains (.cz and .com), both pointing to the same folder. The .com domain automatically redirects to the .cz domain. I would like to change this so that the .cz domain redirects to the .com domain. I thought this can by done in my webhosting interface, however, tech support told me that I have to change it in wordpress. Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks!
Go to Settings -> General and update the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL).
You should also set up 301 redirects to send the .com to .cz (and probably non-www to www, or vice-versa on both domains).
Do some Google searching, or search on here for tons of resources on how to do that.
