I have a page with serial number checking (SerialCodePage). It is implemented and added in installer code after IntroductionPage.
This page is needed for Pro version, and for Lite I would like to hide it, without recompile installer code.
I tried to implement it with the help of installer.removeWizardPage (component, "SerialCodePage"); in componentscript and controlscript, but the function always returns false.
How do I hide this page?
Apparently removeWizardPage works only for pages added in QJS.
In my case, I had to add this page to ScriptEngine::generateQInstallerObject and use installer.setDefaultPageVisible(QInstaller.SerialCode, false);

I am using vaadin 10. I would see this error on my login view class if I used #Route("") but when I write it as #Route(value="") it worked. But doing that to another view I get this error. Most questions asked are way too advanced. I just have a simple project with vaadin and springboot.
With the source code you provided as link in the question's comments, I cannot reproduce your issue. However, there were 2 problems with your code before I was able to run the application:
the #Theme annotation needs to be placed on a view or router layout; I moved it to your LoginView
the Valo theme is not available in Vaadin 10, so the reference on ValoTheme class was a compile error; I removed it
After fixing these problems everything ran fine, #Route(value="") and #Route("") were both working. Which Java version are you using? Java 8 is required minium for Vaadin 10. Also please try to remove lombok for testing, maybe it is causing a problem.
Try annotating your EmployeeDisplay class with #Route(value = "employeeDisplay") instead of #Route(value = "/employeeDisplay"). In other words, remove the /.
I have a problem with Divi Builder. I am using Pagely to clone one site into a staging environment. The cloning part goes well and everything is in place.
When I try to access a page on the staging in order to edit it (Via Divi builder) the structure is not there. If I go back to the public are I can see the page structure in place and also I can confirm that the data is there because I checked using inspect that the poststuff text area contains the same data.
It seems that on the staging the structure under et_pb_main_container is not loaded properly
Instead if I check the live site the structure looks like this:
Finally the frontend displays:
Instead of what I am able to see on the live site:
Have you tried saving the layout to the library? I would give that a shot then load it and see if that jogs the content.
Please try to disable all plugins and then check or try to use the updated version of Divi Theme.
TinyMCE 3.5.8
I merely need to create a button (and module) that acquires a user-entered value from a popup and places it between two tags, e.g., [bib][/bib]
I am having trouble finding a "step-by-step" for doing this, including what files, where code goes, etc. This must be rather simple?
I have replaced all of the occurrences of "example" with my module name in the "Example" module, but that is where my information ends.
If someone would be so kind !
P.S.: It would be even better if the form field would javascript validate for "integer", but maybe I ask too much?
download the tinymce development version
use tiny_mce_dev.js instead of tinymce.js for developement in order to get more usefull error messages
create an own tinymce plugin (this is not that difficult) that opens a popup
get the content of a popup field
insert it at the right place in the editor
You should have a look at other tinymce plugins (in the plugins directory under the tiny_mce dir) to get to know how some things work. There are many plugins, some of them use popups.
I.E. the searchreplace popup
Does anyone know where i can find the code that makes the user/permissions checkbox page in drupal? I'd like to see how it's done to make something similar for a custom module i'm building.
The function you're looking for is theme_checkbox($element) and can be found in root/includes/form.inc. If you ever want to know what function/template is responsible for a certain HTML element then Theme developer is your friend.
Enable the module, set the permissions and you'll see a small checkbox Themer info. Then just point to the HTML part you're interested and see what theme function/template is doing the rendering.
i think on default module folder there is user folder on user.admin.inc file contain code for permission function is user_admin_perm(); see this code
I want to activate version control facility for uploaded files using Plone 4.1. E.g.Whenever an image is edited using Products.ImageEditor in Plone, I want the entry to appear in the history for the image.
First thing to activate version control for images is to:
1) go to site setup
2) click Types
3) Select Image from the drop down
4) select Automatic versioning
Even with that, I don't think versioning will not automatically be performed for ImageEditor changes. ImageEditor just sets the field value for the image and does not emit any object modified events which I assume is required for plone's versioning to kick in.
FWIW, I'm the author of Products.ImageEditor. You can submit a ticket for the issue if you'd like: https://github.com/collective/Products.ImageEditor/issues
