Basically I want to retrieve Template.instance().uid.doubtThreadFollowed.key where key is the variable name. Is it not possible to pass the key of object as a variable?

I'm not certain what the primary purpose of this code is, but to get an object's property by using a variable's value as a key, use brackets. e.g. someObject[variable]. Then your code could look like:

Can anyone give where to look, or what I am missing, for how to use runTransaction in 9.0.3? (Flutter, Firebase realtime DB)
I updated firebase_database ^7.0.0 to ^9.0.3. Had to change runTransaction(MutableData mutable) to runTransaction(Object object), and the Object is null for Map data. Does return a String when point to single node of a String.
For something to work I placed + ‘/sap’ at end of .ref(…), and it gave ‘DROID’

okay, there's two things not happens correctly :
TransactionResult.Success(mutableData) does not store the new data at the location
Return mutableData null for every first time i call the method
[Solved] after examining the code and several attempts of testing found the solution .
line number five (5) of the code causing problem which is :

replace with :
Dictionary<string,object> leaders = mutableData.Value as
Dictionary<string,object>;
because mutableData.Value returned the data contained in this instance as native types, and i saved the data like Dictionary<.string,object>;

I confess that I do not get along very well with the Deferred object. I'm making a query to the database on several "Stores" and as a result I want to do a series of operations. This troubles me because the results are returned asynchronously and I have no way to perform the corresponding operation on the "store" you should. In short, the problem is that this piece of code always executes the same function on the same "Store"

Whenever there is a loop on async operation, be very careful about function scope. In your example code, storeName inside the function will always be the last executed value. Use function scope as follow:

Note that keys (primary or index) are always sorted by ascending order. Max key is the first key in reverse order.
I have function init, which runs on the creationComplete of the application. The init calls get_login_share_object function, in which objects are created, which are null.
Now my problem is that, I get a null object reference error on the Alert in "init()". How can I avoid that. Is it possible that I can have a check to see, if the objects are null the program should just skip reading the objects.

You could check for the null like this:

You should find out why those values are null and fix that first. Generally speaking, if you are expecting a value, it should not be null.
If it really is expected that some of those values are null then yes, you can check them first in two ways:

or

catch(e:Error){

Your problem is here:
var dataToLoad:ByteArray = so.data.ws_creds;
if(!dataToLoad)
return null;
If there isn't any data to load, you're returning a null. So when you try and access the returned object's properties later, you'll get the null object reference error because you're referencing a null object. :)
There are a couple of easy solutions to this. You can check if the return value is null before you try to reference any properties like so:

Or you can stop returning a null from your get_login_share_object function. What you return instead is totally up to you, just make sure it returns an object with all the properties you're referencing.
