Accessing hidden folder in Sublime & IDE editors - encryption

How can I not access or even view the folder with a password in editors? Because right now the folder has a password and it was hidden in the list of directories but in my editor I can see it and I don't want that.

How do I have a Headers folder in Code::Blocks?

I am using Code::Blocks 17.12 on Windows, and would like to create a folder to house the header files.
By default, when I create a console project, a Sources folder is created virtually (there isn't such a folder on disk, but it appears as such in Code::Blocks in the Management window's Project tab.
How do I create additional folders? When I right-click on the project (in the Management window's Project tab), I don't see a way to create a folder.
After Googling around for a bit, I came across this post, although dated 2009:
http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=11365.0
Combining that answer with mine, these are the steps for creating a folder in Code::Blocks:
On your disk (i.e. outside of Code::Blocks), create your folders and add any existing files that you need to it. In my case I created an Includes folder and copied existing .h files into it.
Right-click on the project name in the Management windows' Project tab, and choose Project tree. Tick the Display folders as disk option.
Right-click on the project name again, and choose Add files recursively....
A dialog box appears. Navigate to your subfolder and click OK. Another dialog box appears asking you to select the files to add to the project. By default all the files in the subfolder are selected, so click OK.
The folder will appear in Code::Blocks, under a folder called Headers.
You will also need to add the folder(s) that you created outside of Code::Blocks to the compiler's search directories by clicking on Settings -> Compiler.... Then click on the Search directories tab, select the Compiler tab, then click Add.
In the dialog box that appears, click on the folder icon and navigate to your folder. Then click OK.

Restrict browsing an XML file using web.config

I have an application where I have an XML file which holds the connection string.
When hit the URL with the exact file name it opens the file in the browser that is natural.
Now I need to restrict this file browsing and I can not change that code to do any redirect or anything else.
What I have tried is using denyurlsequences in the security tag in the web.config but it restricts the application too to access the file and that makes the application stop working.
I am using .NET Framework 2.0
The ".xml" file extension is not supported by ASP.NET pipeline that is why you cannot add it to web.config and restrict it. What you can do is to copy the xml file in the "App_Data" folder of your application.
The purpose of this folder is to hide it files from browsers/users and also is build for this type of data.
To create "App_Data" folder if it already does not exist :
Right click on your project -> Add ASP.NET Folder -> App_Data
Or just add a folder and call it App_Data
I know its old question but this answer may be helpful for others.
I did below configurations on IIS 8.5 ( make sure Request Filtering is installed on IIS.)
Open IIS and click on your application virtual directory.
In features View, Click on Request Filtering and then go to Hidden Segments tab - this tab will contain list of hidden files or folders. (like web.config, APP_data folder etc...)
Add file or folder you want to hide from the browsing by click on add hidden segment and mention file/folder name you want to hide and test it.
In our application we have a master xml file stored in an application folder, to deny browsing this xml file I had added the folder name in hidden segments and it worked.

Give anonymous access to a folder under wp-admin folder in WordPress

I have a folder in wordpress which is located under the wp-admin folder and that folder contains the documents that can be downloaded from the user section. Now when the user downloads the words files using IE-9 and click on the open option from the IE save dialog it gives them a security warning. This problem is solved if I move the folder the root of the website. So I guess there is some access issue is there any way I can provide anonymous access to that folder. I really don't want to change the location of the folder as it will reqiure lots of changes to code and database.
FYI : This is issue comes only for word files , PDF files in the same folder work fine.
no you cannot access the folder without the username and password even when you try to grab the files of that folder using idm grabber or httrack you will need username and password

Restrict document access to particular user in alfresco

Is there any way by which I can show particular documents to particular users only ? In alfresco, all users from a site can see all the documents. I want to show the particular document to some users only. I am using alfresco community edition. Can somebody help me ??
Thanks
A site is just a folder. The site folder contains "container" folders for things like the document library, wiki, data lists, etc. You can set permissions on these folders just like you can any folder in Alfresco. Similarly, documents can have their permissions set individually.
The confusion arises because when you are using Share in the context of a particular site, the permissions settings don't offer granular settings. But if you navigate to your site through the "Repository" view (see the link at the top of the page), you can have full control over the permissions.
Suppose we have a site called test-site and a folder called test in that site's document library that contains a document, testdoc.pdf. You should be able to:
Click the "Repository" link at the top of the page.
Click the "Sites" folder.
Click the "test-site" folder.
Click the "documentLibrary" folder.
Click the "test" folder.
Click testdoc.pdf to open its details page.
Click "Manage Permissions".
By default, objects inherit the permissions of their parent. So testdoc.pdf has the permissions of its parent folder. If you want to remove all permissions and set explicit, "local" permissions on testdoc.pdf...
Click "Inherit Permissions" to turn off inheritance.
Click "Add User or Group" to add specific users or groups with the access level you want them to have.

System.Data.Sqlconnection

in my application when i type sqlconnection it is not showing any intellisence, i added the namespace System.Data.Sqlclient not only sqlconnection even i am not getting Page calss can u help me.
actually i am sharing this application from my company server.
in our company previously there was .net 2.0 frame work when this project was developed(one year back).
yesterday our company installed 3.0 .net frame work is this any problem for previous project which are developed in 2.0 how can i go through this problem
You should check if your intellisense works at all first. You can try :-
1) Start your visual studio using the following :-
devenv.exe /resetskippkgs
2) Go to Tools > Option > Text Editor > All Languages . Make sure all the checkbox related to "Statement Completion" are "checked" (not just filled).
3) Close Visual Studio, delete the .suo (user option file) which is located at teh same directory as your solution file. Note that that file might be hidden. Open Visual Studio again and check for intellisense.
EDIT :- To see the hidden .suo file (or any other hidden files), follow below steps:-
1.Open My Computer.
2.From the Tools menu, choose Folder Options....
3.Click on the View tab in the Folder Options window.
4.In the Advanced settings: text area, locate the Hidden files and folders category.
Note: The Hidden files and folders category should be viewable at the bottom of the Advanced settings: text area without scrolling down. You'll see two options under the folder.
5.Choose the Show hidden files and folders radio button under the Hidden files and folders category.
6.Click OK at the bottom of the Folder Options window.
