i am developing dynamic web project with bootstrap templates every thing is working fine even view is rendering perfect.
in home.jsp file in which i have link css(bootstrap files & my customized files) file

Depending on which Eclipse package you installed you may already have the CSS and HTML editors. If you don't then you can install them using Help > Install New Software. Choose the software site for your version of Eclipse in the drop down list and look at the Web, XML, Jave EE and OSGi Enterprise Development section. The Eclipse Web Developer Tools section contains the editors you want but the other sections may also be of interest.

Researching this a bit and reading over your comments it seems that you are using Eclipse with the Aptana extension. If you absolutely do not need to use the Eclipse environment you could now download the Aptana Studio 3 which is based on Eclipse. It looks just like eclipse but is Aptana. Now instead of entering this and looking for Aptana plugins you are going to go into Aptana and look for eclipse plugins. I've installed this myself and have installed several plugins that handle all sorts of things such as javascript code completion, source code formatting etc.

I'm working on a spring project and i want to add some css to my views
but css files are created (in the webapp folder) as Java source files:
so there is no auto-completion, it is unrecognized as a css file.
Here is how the css file appears:
for anyone who has the same issue you can go to help -> eclipse marketplace search for html and install the tool u need, restart eclipse and it will work.

So far I have used netbeans, now I am planning to switch in eclipse , everything is fine but like in netbeans it doesn't provide me css class proposal. In netbeans if I use or write any css class , that class will be automatically appeared in css file as proposal even , in html/php file it shows class proposal from previously used class or class from framework like bootstrap , like the images below

Reinstall the Eclipse Web Toolkit Platform packages. You can do that either using the Eclipse Marketplace tool or Install New Software under the Help menu.

I am using Windows Vista 32bit. I have installed Eclipse Helios Service Release 2.
I need to integrate flex in Eclipse. Can someone show give me steps to install or point me to a good tutorial that explains the process.

Go to the FlashBuilder download page to get it. The automatic download will have you download an Akamai software, which is Adobe's download crapware. If you're behind a proxy, you're out of luck: your download won't work. You can get a direct link though: simply cancel the automatic download and on the download page select the "File 1 of 1" link.

You can't really integrate Flex into eclipse without a plug-in - it would let you edit the text files as text, and run the compiler, but you'd have no actual IDE support.
As for plugins/eclipse-based IDEs: Right now, there's Adobe Flash Builder and FDT, which are both good products (they each have different advantages and shortcomings, though -you probably want to try them out and see which fits your needs best), but they are both neither free nor cheap.
Another very good commercial IDE is IntelliJ IDEA, but that's not eclipse-based.
If you need a free IDE for ActionScript on Windows, check out FlashDevelop - it is not quite as sophisticated as the eclipse-based commercial products, but a good start if you want to get into ActionScript, or try out IDE alternatives to Flash.
this might seem like a dumb question but I just don't get this to work with Aptana 3.
I installed the Aptana 3 plugins and Scala IDE into classic Eclipse 3.7.
Now in my HTML files there are links to resource files like CSS, JS, etc. I would like to be able to CTRL+click on such a link to open the file in another editor tab.
I just verified that Aptana 2 supports this without additional configuration.
Is this possible with version 3. If yes, what do I have to do in order to make it work?

I'm using the PhpStorm IDE, and it has a wonderful plugin called CSS-X fire that integrates with firebug: whenever I make changes in the CSS via Firebug, and the PhpStorm project is open, the plugin makes PhpStorm aware of the cahnge, and enables me to apply it in the code.
My question is if there is a similar plugin for other IDEs (such as Visual Studio) or editors (such as Notepad++), since I'm not sure we're going to buy PhpStorm, and we also have projects not in PHP.
Have a look at cssUpdater. It is a CSS-X-Fire spin-off that works directly on selected files rather than communicating with the IDE.
Using CssUpdater with Visual Studio 2012 worked great for me. You only need to install firefox addon CssUpdater and sync the files you are going to work on.
