I've created a meteor project in my Windows system,then it be pushed to my Git repository.
Now I need to git clone to my Mac system and run it, but when I CD into the project folder and use "meteor" order in terminal line, It shows: "you need to creat APP ...", why? what should I do to run the project in my Mac system?

I am trying to run API Manager 4.0.0 from source code, I download product-am and carbon-apimgt from github. How can i debug source code in idea or eclipse ?
First of all, you have to build the product. Follow these steps in order to build the product locally.
Make sure you have installed Java and Maven in your machine.
Download or clone carbon-apimgt repository from
https://github.com/wso2/carbon-apimgt.
Go to carbon-apimgt directory and run mvn clean install command in the terminal. (You can ignore unit tests by running mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip=true)
Copy the build version to the clipboard (ex:- 9.12.3-SNAPSHOT)
Download or clone product-apim from https://github.com/wso2/product-apim
Replace the value of carbon.apimgt.version in pom.xml file with the value you copied. (ex:- <carbon.apimgt.version>9.12.3-SNAPSHOT</carbon.apimgt.version>)
Go to product-apim directory and run mvn clean install command in the terminal. (You can ignore integration tests by running mvn clean install -Dmaven.test.skip=true which will save your time)
The built pack can be found in product-apim/modules/distribution/product/target directory.
After building the pack, extract the content in the zip file and run sh bin/api-manager.sh --debug 5005 command.
I recommend JetBrains Intellij IDEA to debug the code easily. So, open the carbon-apimgt project in IDEA. Then Add Configuration > Add new... > Remote JVM Debug > OK. After adding the configuration, you can click on the debug button and start debugging.
I installed heroku cli on windows 10 via exe installer.
When i try to run heroku --version command or heroku login
command, the command window does not respond. It does not give any error.
Then i uninstalled it and installed it using npm install -g heroku-cli
but getting same result.
Node version - 8.7.0
In Windows cmd prompt, do:
echo %USERPROFILE%
Go to your C:\Users\YOURNAME
Look for a file named:
_netrc
This file stores login credentials. Delete it.
Then check for an update:
heroku update
Then try to log in:
heroku login
I saw some people create an environment variable called HOME and add the path to YOURNAME so the environment knows to look for the _netrc file there.

In windows , run %LOCALAPPDATA%\heroku, completely delete this folder. and check again on cmd by typing heroku --version. Hope this helps.
I ended up uninstalling heroku from the Windows Installer and instead used the standalone tarball.
You can get the tarballs from here.
After you downloaded and extracted it, you can go to your terminal and cd into the directory where you extracted the file and do the following command:
./bin/heroku --version
Whenever you need the heroku CLI, you can cd into the directory where heroku is, then ./bin/heroku is the executable for heroku.
In spite of executing several methods and steps, RStudio in my machine still won't detect git and I need to push some of my projects so they remain secure and tracked. I've already made a repository in my github account and cloned it in my main local git folder but I don't see any git interface in RStudio. These are the steps I've done so far:
Enable svn/git interface through RStudio settings. The path to git executable was wrong so I set it up to usr/bin/git. The executable for svn is still usr/bin/svn so that is fine.
Installed latest build of git 2.10.1 for mac. When running which git in Terminal, the console provides me with the executable path which of course means git is there and ready.
Restarted Rstudio after doing these operations, and still there won't be any git interface.
RStudio doesn't ask if a new project needs to be a git repository in File>New Project>Empty Directory. All I see is standard interface.
Choosing Git under File>New Project>Version Control gives me an error that git hasn't been detected under the existing path usr/bin/git when the same is reproduced by the Terminal.
Unchecking and checking git interface under global options and restarting RStudio does nothing. Under project options, there is no 'git' under version control menu.
Checked if existing directories are git repositories and they are. Should be automatically getting git interface then.
I'm running a MBP 2013, macOS 10.12 with R 3.3.2 'Sincere Pumpkin Patch' and RStudio 1.0.136. Do I need to update any packages? I also have the github client AND SourceTree client installed (using the latter) and almost forgot, I have also configured git with my username and email in the shell command and there seems to be no problems as far as those settings are concerned. Is there anything else missing here?
You should set Git/SVN interface like below:
The paths for git and svn are the directories which they installed. But you use usr/bin/git and usr/bin/svn instead.
I tried to install Meteor on another system. Installation go well, then I copied my project and I am running meteor run but
"Extracting meteor-tool#1.4.0-1" it is happening forever. Then I tried to update version number to 1.4.1 and run again "meteor run". Now I do not need to install 1.4.0.1 so it worked but got stuck on extracting on other modules.
Possible reasons can be extraction program of this is release is faulty. Would someone suggest a solution or how can I download 1.4.0.1 release of meteor directly?

I found the answer of this problem. This is problem with tar extractor.
I installed the newest 7zip and renamed the tar.exe in my GIT program folder ("where tar" command in cmd revealed, that somehow that exe was associated with .tar archives) to tar.exe.old.
If you can not find where is tar then run "where tar" command to get path of tar.exe
This solves the problem.

Try adding the following to your local hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts):
54.192.225.217 warehouse.meteor.com
Then run a meteor reset in your app directory (warning - will wipe your local DB), then try starting your app again.
This worked for me.
I've used Git successfully on this machine in the past but suddenly I can no longer push my commits to the Github repo. The last change to the Git toolchain that I made was to install Git 1.8.5.2, in addition to the Github for Windows client. RStudio could not find Git unless I'd already started the Github client so I decided to simply install a stand-alone Git client and change the RStudio Git path.
Error message (RStudio):
error: cannot spawn rpostback-askpass: No such file or directory
fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No such file or directory
Troubleshooting:
I can commit all projects.
I can pull new projects.
I cannot push any projects, I receive the same error message every time.
I cannot push with Github or RStudio.
Reinstalling /uninstalling Git / Github does not resolve the issue.
Setup:
This is an R project, with RStudio as my IDE / Git GUI.
I'm using Git 1.8.5.2 for Windows 7.
Let me know if there's any more information that you need.
Update 1:
Git GUI tells me that:
Error: hook execution requires sh (not in PATH).
Let's see if I can fix that...

in RStudio, click on the "Tools" menu and select "Shell"
Run the following command: git push -u origin master
it might ask you for your git username and password. Supply this information, make sure it is correct
hopefully the push is successful, then you can close the window
Now make some more edits to some file so that you have new content to push
click on the "push" button in RStudio and this time the push should work
