I am creating an Windows Phone 8.1 Application (not Silverlight Application). I want to implement Push Notificaion in my app but while I try to add Microsoft.Phone.dll to my application to use HttpNotificationChannel, it shows exception on build as "Cannot find type System.SystemException in module mscorlib.dll".
Can someone help me with this?
Thanks
Why are you trying to do that? Did you seen this sample? https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/push-and-periodic-de225603/

I've been struggling with the APPUriHandler to work correct using Xamarin.Forms for building a multi platform app. I am not getting the AppHandler to work correct using the "Shared pages"
Following https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/launch-resume/web-to-app-link i have managed to open the appif i launch the app manual, when using a link I get stuck on the SplashScreen
which throws an error :
Its just when using the handler that it fails. I have identified that if I add a new page on the UWP project, and navigate to that page, it works fine. My problem is using the .Net standard (Old PCL) method as it is using multi platform. Is there a way to get past this or call the LoadApplication a different way from UWP MainPage as that is where it breaks
or anything that can steer me in the right direction?
I created an application using sapui5.I am using sapui5 library 1.40 in server NW7.4 sp6. This application working fine in chrome.
If I open this application in new Tab of IE11. It's working fine but when I am trying to call inside Portal iView. sapui5 library is not loaded, due to this my application is giving error "sap is undefined".
Please find attached document of screenshots for the reference. I have attached console log of the browser as well.
Thanks in advance
The Portal isn't able to run SAPUI5 iView that don't run with the standards mode. SAP provides a lot of documentation through SAP note and SDN blogs about that but the one that could help you the most might be the following:
https://blogs.sap.com/2014/09/03/ie-and-portal-standardsquirks-mode-evolution-or-love-hate-relationships/
To sum it up, your SAPUI5 iView must run with NavMode 10 ("Standard headerless framework page"), this should enable edge document mode, be careful that the entreprise mode for IE11 is not activated otherwise edge mode won't be usable.
Hope this will help you.
I am getting an error trying to upload an app to the iOS store.
The application was developed using FlashBuilder 4.7 and Flex 13.0.
ERROR ITMS-9000: “No architectures in the binary. Lipo failed to detect any architectures in the bundle executable.” At SoftwareAssets/SoftwareAsset (MZItmspSoftwareAssetPackage)
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this error is? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Try to fix your application.xml:
<iPhone>
<InfoAdditions><![CDATA[...
<key>MinimumOSVersion</key>
<string>6.0</string>
]]></InfoAdditions>
I found solution of my question after lots of try. After updating an air sdk still I got this issue.
Solution of this issue is simple.
We don't need to use any digit in app Id.
for example:
App was not submitteds app id contains digit like com.adobe.sample.7th
then I created new app having app id like com.adobe.sample.seventh and I was able to submit this app to store.
I try to run :
http://www.smallscreendesign.com/2011/09/29/air-native-extensions-rock/
I downloaded the code and imported the project folder (AndroidExtensions_Demo) in Flash Builder 4.6, changed the air version to 3.1, changed the flex compiler to 4.6 as that is what I’m using and ran it on the device.
However, when I clicked on Send button, I got the error below.
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

Is there another way to send SMS with Flex Mobile ?
I want to avoid the manual sending SMS process by pressing "Send" or "Ok" button
The reported exception refers to a failure during the context setup of the ANE. It should be mostly related to project configuration in many different ways.
Make sure you're setting the correct path of the ANE in your project and please consider a full rebuild of the ANE, including the native (Android) code in order to avoid further problems.
Edit:
Unfortunately AIR doesn't provide any native other way to send a SMS save calling the navigateToUrl() using the sms: uri scheme (eg: navigateToUrl("sms:5551234567"); ). This way however the system SMS editor will be shown and you can't specify any body neither.
The only way to send an SMS in a full programmatically way is to write your own ANE and leverage Android APIs in order to get the things done.
Currently on my website i am trying to get it so that a user can upload an image from their local images. I have followed a tutorial, but when i debug it and try to open up my images folder i get this error message:
"Current thread must be set to single thread apartment (STA) mode before OLE calls can be made. Ensure that your Main function has STAThreadAttribute marked on it. This exception is only raised if a debugger is attached to the process."
Please can someone help me here, i have read a few posts; but seen as this is my first time doing this; i dont really understand them.
Thanks for any response!
You are trying to use Windows Forms functionality in a ASP.NET Web Page. Line 140:
FileDialog fldlg = new OpenFileDialog();
Windows Forms is desktop technology. You can't mix that with a ASP.NET web app. You can use the FileUploadControl to enable file uploads in your web application:
