I am configuring remote debugger and I am thinking to have static ip for my machine with the IDE, so the server can forward requests to my local machine behind WiFi in local LAN. I believe there is way i can obtain static IP like temporary one for my machine without going to ISA Provider, is there? What is the service? Thank you

I've got a few web servers running on my local network and, I wanted to change a specific port on a web server into IP address so that I can easily proxy them over nginx and also have access to them locally via Bind. I've got a server [HTTPD] with a few WordPress sites running on different ports [i.e 80, 8080 ETC] and I would like to change those into a private IP address locally. This is a complicated problem of the fact that I cannot specify port numbers on my local DNS, and I also don't want to install another nginx server on the local sites. Thanks guys
Search the web for "Centos 7 IP Aliasing" and set up a new IP address that connects to your machine. Then configure a new virtual host to listen on that new IP address.
I would give you more info, except A) IP aliasing on Centos 7 is more involved than I like (much easier on Solaris), and B) I'm not familiar at all with configuring Nginx (very easy on Apache).
#Tarun Lalwani asks a good question regarding whether this is a home or local network vs. a public one. You have to pay $$ for a public IP address as they are a scarce, managed resource, whereas your local network can accommodate almost as many IP's as you can think of. Anyone on your local network can access your service on your machine using those extra IP's. However, accessing those local IP's from the Public Internet is a separate topic altogether, involving router configurations and NAT addressing.
It may not be the precise answer you're looking for, but at least it should give you a direction to continue looking.
I already have an website on godaddy, So can I connect SQL Server database (Database is in my home PC) from website which is already launched in godaddy. I did my website using Asp.net.
If can, what are all the things I should give importance?

Technically speaking yes you can, should you..unless your home computer is a server, no. You would have to ensure that you have a static IP address and allow 1433 through your firewall. honestly its not that costly to get a cloud sqlserver and hook to that, discountasp.net has really good service.
Technically you can do it. I assume you want to know how to connect to it.
Set a static IP for you computer ex: 192.168.1.105 (make sure you are on the same subnet as your default gateway.
Open the firewall for your sql server.
Go into router settings and do port forwarding to the static IP (from step 1) and the port of your SQL server ex: 1433
Connect your website to the database using public IP (google what is my ip)
example: 123.123.123.12:1433

We have an hyper-v machine in our DMZ with an Ubuntu machine on it. SonarQube is installed on the VM. When we try to access it from inside the network by IP there is nothing wrong and it works fine. We have setup a firewall route to forward all traffic from the internet to the VM. The forwarder as we setup is correct as we used it multiple times with other servers and works fine. The VM has 1 NIC with the internal IP on it. Is there something we are missing? If you need any more information please let me know. Thanks in advanced.
I have found the issue.
In the hosts file there was no local host setup.
From internal we connected by ip so there was no issue. The files were setup to connect to localhost so it did not know where to go. thanks for the support.
Okay, so I'm hosting a VPS for someone using Virtualbox. I've setup a server for that guy with a NAT network type ( this way I could port forward the entire thing so it can be used for what the guy wants ). The guy can use remote desktop to connect to the server, however. Everyone who tries to join his game, gets the same IP. I guess this has something to do with the guest settings, if I'm not mistaken.
Could anyone provide me any more information about the reason behind these IP's?
I'm running on the latest version of Virtualbox with a windows 7 enterprise 64bit version where a SA-MP server is being hosted on.
Everyone who connects to his server gets the ip; 10.0.2.2. Any help would be really appreciated
If a machine is located behind NAT, then all of the incoming connection will always be recorded only from a single source, that is you router's IP. It's normal since all of the incoming connection will have to go to the router first.
The IP of of an instance created through Openstack is 10.0.0.2. But when I tried to ping this IP from other machine, it was not successful, however I am able to ping this IP from the machine on which Openstack(Devstack) is installed.
What could be the reason and how to resolved this?

Basically, you need a virtual router to connect from you LAN to OpenStack private network.
I think, you don't need a Floating IP exactly on each instance. Only a virtual router, then you can create a static route on each machine in you LAN, for example:
ip route add 10.0.0.0/8 via 192.168.1.100 dev em1

This IP is a private one, by default, when you deploy a new instance it is deployed with a private IP.
If you want to have a public IP, you need to create a floating IP for your project and afterward, you should assign one IP from this pool to the server instance that you have created previously.
After that you could access to your server instance without any problem.
