SmartWatch 2 app 1.4.51 breaks Low Power Mode - sony-smartwatch

This issue is an extension of the following:
v1.4.51 of Sony SmartWatch 2 app breaks Low Power Mode
Since updating my Smartwatch 2 app to 1.4.51, the following app fails to initiate a 'Low Power Mode' state:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.zalsky.android.watchremotecontrol
To reproduce the bug, please do the following:
Install Smartmote app.
Go to app's options and switch the Low Power Mode option to 'ON' state.
Play some music (I'm doing so through Google Play Music app).
Open the app from inside the Smartwatch.
Wait a few moments for the screen to dim - At this point, the phone will NOT go into a low power mode state, it will instead go directly the watch face. (It should in fact stay on the album art of the played song, in Low Power Mode.)
I have attempted to fix this issue by factory resetting my Smartwatch, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing Smartwatch 2 app data from my phone and restarting my phone and smartwatch.. Nothing seems to solve the issue and the bug still exists.
Please notice that the app hasn't been updated for a full month and Low Power Mode functioned correctly before Sony recently updated their Smartwatch app.
If there's anything I can do to help squash the bug, let me know.
Many thanks,
Martin

How do you install and automatically update application builds on Android TV for testers?

I'm looking to install and automatically/one button update very early development builds of an application to Android TV devices in my household. I've initially tried Google Play using an internal track, but it turns out this is reviewed by a human initially and because of how incomplete the application is it was rejected. I do not want to get bogged down in design/etc. to get past the Play reviewers, especially with the current 7 day~ turn around time.
I found Firebase App Distribution, which seems like a decent choice for the kind of testing I want to achieve, but the set up process seems very mobile centric, and talks about clicking links in emails etc. which is not doable on Android TV.
My goals are:
Get my not production ready application installed and automatically/one button press updated on Android TV
I've tried:
Google play store internal track, rejected because of how "not production ready" it is
Firebase App Distribution, but the tester registration process involves emails/flows not available on TV
So I guess my questions are:
What are my options for installing and automatically updating signed test builds on Android TV?
Is it possible to use Firebase App Distribution with Android TV apps? How do you register?
Currently I'm either having to get the devices near a laptop to adb install the APK, or pushing the APK to a network share and using a file manager on the TV devices to manually install and update the app.

Maximo Anywhere 7.6 - Standard apps getting stuck

I had setup Maximo Anywhere 7.6 in our landscape to test the standard apps provided by IBM.
I had tested couple of apps successfully but have some or the other issue with the other apps. The issues are more or less with the apps becoming hung at a screen.
Issues And Returns App -> When opened the Storeroom list to select a store room, the app is stuck at the screen. I'm unable to select a value and also not able to return to the home screen.
Inspection -> When an update is made on the Workorder (Like adding a Worklog or status change etc), the app stucks showing the Loading icon. It doesn't respond at all.
I have similar issues when testing the Transfers app, Physical Count app as well.
Anyone encountered similar issues? If yes, is there any resolution available?
Device Used: ASUS Nexus 7 (2013)
Apps built for API Level 19
Tablet OS: Android Lollipop
Regards,
Karthik
We know about the Inspection app hang on status change and have an IFix available but the others are new to me. Can you please open a PMR with our support team to track?

Apple Watch App "extension continues to load"

I've had an Apple Watch App hosted in an iOS App rejected for:
"We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on Apple Watch.
Specifically we found the watch extension continues to load indefinitely on launch."
In the simulator and on the watch itself (iOS 9, WatchOS 2, xCode 7.01)
None of the visible routines are repeatedly called, and I can't find a starting point to debug this.
The watch app has no notifications, no glance interface, and has a single story on the storyboard. It does contain a WKInterfaceTimer which I "stop" and "start" on activate and deactivate, but of course the underlying timer is not stopped or started. I don't even know what they are seeing that causes this report. So tough to debug. Any ideas?
That's WatchOS bug. See related discussion on ADF.

Xcode 6.1 and iOS Simulator 8.1 very slow to run

I'm using Xcode 6.1 and iOS Simulator 8.1. It takes a long time to run the simple apps that I've written using the iOS Simulator. Build process was ok but then the iOS Simulator will show the black blank launch screen then the app screen for like 5 minutes before the app launch. Many times it shows error "Lost connection to iPhone 6(/5/4s)". Tried to re-start Xcode and iOS Simulator, and MacBook Pro multiple times already. Tried to reset "Content and Settings" in the iOS Stimulator, but doesn't help.
What could be the possible causes? Any advice/solution? Thank you.
I suggest that you boot up the device that you want to use prior to the Build&Run in Xcode. If you hit Build&Run in Xcode while the device is not booted, you will need to wait for the device to boot. This can take a long time depending on your I/O load (eg: if Spotlight is indexing at the same time you are trying to boot, or if your home directory is on a slow volume like a network mount).
Just open up iOS Simulator.app ahead of time and select the device you want to test on from the Hardware->Devices menu. Then it will be ready when you need it.
Make sure 'slow animations' is not selected under the Debug tab in the iOS Simulator. That fixed the issue for me.
Googled on this issue and some said it's a Xcode bug with the 6.1 beta, but I had the 6.1 release version installed alreadt. I even try the 6.2 beta, hoping Apple has a fix for this, but no luck, still the same.
So desperate that I decided to upgrade my 3 years old MacBook Pro RAM and harddisk to SSD. Problem solved with the upgrade! The iOS Simulator runs normally now.

App won't uninstall from Smartwatch 2

I've deployed an Android app that interfaces with the Sony Smartwatch 2, and generally, it's working well. However, I have a user reporting that when he uninstalls the app from his phone, the watch component is not uninstalled.
I understand that the un/installation of the two should be linked, and in my testing (and for most of my users), that works fine. What might this user try to force the app to uninstall from the watch?
The user could be right. I've observed the issue only once for ca. twenty (20) installing/uninstalling rounds. However I did not found the way to reproduce it and I can't state what circumstances can cause such behaviour.
Did you've got information from the user on what phone, Android release, Smart Connect or SmartWatch 2 software version this issue occurred?
The only thing he can do to remove Wearable Widgets instance from SmartWatch is to reset the watch (Settings -> Reset SmartWatch).
