When I try to hit my test webpage, I get a 503 error.
In the browser tab, the icon associated with my page. However, when I use Chrome Developer Tools, I don't see how that image is appearing.
I cleared my cache prior to hitting the page. Also, I had looked at the HTML and Network tabs, but do not see how the file is getting retrieved.
It is still an issue. See here. It has been pushed off for some time.

Facing ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID, while loading css and js files in chrome browser.
While loading login.aspx page related css and js files are loading in IE and Mozilla where as in chrome its not loading. We have deployed the existing application in new server, same application is working on different server. Is there any configuration to be modified in IIS? I have verified both the environment which looks identical, any specific related configuration is helpful. please find the screen shot below

ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID is a very popular SSL error during loading the website. In most cases, the issue is due to certificate misconfiguration on a server. However, it may appear due to antivirus and firewall or aother third-party extensions. so you can try the following methods to solve the problem.
Check date and time are proper
Your Chrome browser will show ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID error in case the date and time are wrong on your computer or mobile device. Please recheck and adjust it on your via PC settings.
Check browser extensions
In some cases, the problematic browser extension could be a reason for the error. First of all, try to open the website in Incognito window and if that solves the issue then no need to check extensions. Otherwise, follow the next steps:
1.Click the "three dots" button on the top right corner of your browser window
2.Select More tools and Extensions
3.Turn off extensions one by one to find culprit extension and delete it to fix the browser error.
Check Installed SSL certificate
In Chrome, you have to click to the "Not Secure" button located on the left side of the address bar, and then click to "Certificate". There you will see the details of SSL certificate using the field "issued to".
Clear the SSL cache
The browser's SSL cache can be an issue. You have to try clearing the cache to resolve the error. click "Three dots" button on the top right side of the browser, find the "Settings". There you will find "Advanced settings" at the bottom of a page. Now find "Open Proxy Settings" and there you will see the "Content" tab with "Clear SSL state"
We have an Application Developed in ASP.NET inside which we have added an embedded Power Bi Dashboard using iFrame.
The Dashboard is working as expected in Chrome but facing the following issues with IE and Edge.
On IE the Dashboard is not being Displayed when viewed from the Embedded Application and upon clicking the power bi Sign-In button (shown within the Iframe), the application as a whole gets redirected to app.Powerbi.com/.... When you click the back button and refresh, still the sign-in prompt is shown in the iframe.
On Edge, the behavior is same as in IE, except that you click the back button from the app.powerbi.com website and then refresh the page, then the report renders correctly within the Iframe.
I tried clearing the Cache and Cookies, tried adding *.microsoft.com site and *app.powerbi.com to trusted sites list(per power bi forums) but still not working.
I suggest you check for the latest Windows updates and try to install it. Then after again try to test this issue on your side.
If the issue persists then hard refresh the page. Clear all the data for that site and again try to load the page.
I tested the issue with IE 11.1.18362.0 and Microsoft Edge 44.18362.1.0. As per my testing results, both browsers display the Power BI dashboard in ASP.NET site without any issue.
Output in IE 11:
Output in MS Edge:
If the issue persists then try to check the console to see whether there is any error or warning message. It can help to narrow down the issue.
ISSUE
Background video of a div on the homepage of my website was playing fine on Firefox & IE but not on google chrome. At the outset, it seemed liked a caching issue so I cleared the cookies and the cache and it did work, but only on some computers. On others, it still didn't!!
The error from the console:
Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DOMWindow': The target origin provided
('https://www.youtube.com') does not match the recipient window's origin
('http://example.com').
UPDATE & FIX (Specific to Elementor Pro Page Builder - Wordpress)
The error on Chrome's console pointed towards the source of the video (YouTube - on https) and the destination (my test server - on http), to be the issue. I changed that too.
And while I was doing this, I also happened to notice an unexpected css class attached to the container of the video. This particular class 'elementor-invisible' was making the container invisible. Setting it to visible seems to have solved my issue.
I also changed the YouTube video url from https to http since that too was another suspect.
Things look good now.
In my deployed website, I'm seeing this in the logs in Firefox:
My site has nothing to do with abc.net.au (although that is a site I browse often).
I've grepped my deployed code to be sure, and there are definitely no references anywhere that I can see that would be causing it to try to load these font files.
Clicking on the source code link doesn't reveal anything useful (just the index.html page).
Perhaps it's some kind of plugin going wrong?
How can I diagnose and fix the cause of these inappropriate font requests?
The first thing I'd do is make sure that the lines come from content requested from your website. You have 2 ways to do that:
Create a new Firefox profile, start it, close all the tabs and just leave 1 blank tab. Open the logs, clear them and then open your website. If the font line is not here, then it might have been a bogus log line.
On your original Firefox or new profile, open a new tab. Open up the Network Monitoring tool and then open your page. Look for the font entry in the network request. Unfortunately, it's not yet possible (see this) to break on specific network requests in the Firefox dev tools.
From there, I would go and check the source code depending on my findings. Keep us posted!
Update: this sounds like bug 1420680.
I need to see what's rendered from my aspx page. When I publish, some features aren't working.
However, when I hit F5 from the IDE, my features work fine.
So I figure, why not view the source from the published website and compare it to development.
Problem is, when I hit F5 from the IDE and get IE8 -- 'view source' is disabled.
How can this be solved?
It could be that your IE cache/Temporary Internet Files is 'full'. Try clearing your IE cache and Temp Internet Files, etc. Some other ways to determine your cache is full if IE doesn't allow you to View Source
Try saving any image off any site. Does the file name default to "image.bmp" or "*.bmp"? If it does then your cache is definitely full.
Some other tweaks while you're in there to help debugging, especially the 'Every time I visit...'!
