I am getting the following error when I try to install the ADO.NET version of SQLite on two different Win 7 laptops:
Installer.exe: #32 # 2012.05.06T13:58:34.8921292: Configuration.Process: No actual changes will be made to this system because "what-if" mode is enabled.
Installer.exe: #33 # 2012.05.06T13:58:34.8951293: TraceOps.ShowMessage: Cannot continue, the "confirm" option is not enabled.
I am running the Installer.exe as administrator.
Well I am having exactly the same problem,
but the issue is b/c Installer.exe requires a command line argument, called "-confirm"
They made this to make the exe not install when just double clicked.
So pls try following command from command line
Installer -confirm true

I tried to create a Robot project , but I am getting this error : An internal error occurred during: "Building".
Unable to communicate with XML-RPC server
I tried some solution , but didn't work , and now when I press OK , I can't access to the libraries and the files inside the projects...enter image description here
My installation is:
Eclipse 2021-06 (4.20.0)
RED - Robot Editor 0.9.5.202007241017
Robot Framework 5.0 (Python 3.10.4 )
You need to check comparability of RED Editor and the Robot Framework. I think, RED doesn't support latest RF version. Check more: http://nokia.github.io/RED/help/whats_new/0_9_5.html
Also, check the URL that eclipse trying to communicate inside Help>>Available Software to update/install new software.
you need to downgrade the Robotframework to version 3 and lower, you can do that using that command
pip install robotframework==3.1.1 <version>
I'm very new to the ELK stack and was trying to add some security settings (username and password) to access Kibana following the instructions from the link below:
https://www.elastic.co/blog/getting-started-with-elasticsearch-security
At Step 4: Security in Kibana, once the yml file modified, I try to launch Kibana from the terminal with the command ./bin/kibana but it displays the following errors :
./bin/kibana: line 24: /usr/local/var/homebrew/linked/kibana-7.6.2-linux-x86_64/bin/../node/bin/node: cannot execute binary file
./bin/kibana: line 24: /usr/local/var/homebrew/linked/kibana-7.6.2-linux-x86_64/bin/../node/bin/node: Undefined error: 0
I think I've followed all the previous steps carefully and everything else worked so far.
I'm using a Mac and the error seems to be very basic. Any clue?
Thanks for the help.
Looks like you've downloaded the wrong architecture (Linux) of Kibana on your Mac.
This generally happens when the architecture is not compatible with system architecture or running a 64 bits on 32 bits machine.
Simple solution:
Download the mac version of Kibana from here - https://www.elastic.co/downloads/kibana
Once downloaded, run ./bin/kibana in Kibana directory.
This will successfully start local server of Kibana on localhost:5601
I am using Eclipse 2018-09 and StatET 3.6.1. I have two R environments: one for R 3.3.2, another for R 3.5.1. When I execute a command like ?lm to call up a help page in v3.3.2, the page appears in the StatET "R Help" pane, as I want it to. But when I execute the same command to call up a help page in v3.5.1, the console tells me "starting httpd help server," and the help page loads in my browser. How can I get help to load in the "R Help" pane when using v3.5.1?
The problem arises whether or not I run Eclipse as an administrator, and whether or not I "Auto Run" R 3.5.1 upon booting. And as far as I can tell, the configurations for the two versions of R are nearly identical:
Both are running Windows 10 and JRE 1.8.0_121.
Both with version 2.1 of the rj package.
For both, I've checked every box in "Run Configurations > R Console > R Console > Eclipse Integration," including "Enable R Help for StatET."
For both, options("help_type") == 'html'.
Inspection of the different log files that I get when using Auto Run with the two versions of R suggests that there is some sort of StatET config problem that has to do with Derby. These messages appear only when I boot R 3.5.1:
!ENTRY de.walware.statet.r.core 4 -1 2018-11-16 02:50:29.092
!MESSAGE An error occurred when initializing DB for model.
!STACK 1
org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: An error occurred when loading embedded DB (Derby + DBCP)
DB ConnectionURL=[path redacted]\eclipse-workspace\.metadata\.plugins\de.walware.statet.r.core\db
[...]
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Another instance of Derby may have already booted the database C:\[path redacted]\eclipse-workspace\.metadata\.plugins\de.walware.statet.r.core\db.
[...]
Caused by: ERROR XSDB6: Another instance of Derby may have already booted the database C:\[path redacted]\eclipse-workspace\.metadata\.plugins\de.walware.statet.r.core\db.
But I don't know what to make of this problem or how to fix it.
Stephan Wahlbrink, the creator of StatET, recommended running this command at startup:
registerS3method("print", "help_files_with_topic", rj::print.help_files_with_topic)
I ran the command, and it solved the problem.
(Stephan added that the Derby errors that I saw in the logs were unrelated to the problem of displaying help in the "R Help" pane.)
For our application we have planned to use the Progress Data Direct ODBC driver for oracle. So i have downloaded the EVAL version and installed it. Our application servers are running in the Linux environment.
After installing the EVAL version i have tested the sample code provided by them. I have configured the ODBC.INI and ODBCINST.INI properly.
Tested the DSN connection successfully with the sample program provided by DataDirect Progress.
Then i started using the same for my application Lib LD path set properly ODBC , ODBCINST variables are properly set.
when i try to bring up my servers i got the below error message
7: [unixODBC][DataDirect][ODBC 20101 driver]6015
In this message i'm not getting the message description , only i got the error code which is 6015
How to get the error message for this code 6015 ?
Any help on this?
Due to the older version of driver got the error , so installed newer version and it got resolved.
I'm trying to create a database using DBCA on Oracle 11g installation on Ubuntu Linux 12.04 64 bit.
I followed the instructions here, but I get
ORA-12547: TNS Lost Contact when running DBCA.
Below are the details. Can someone assist with the solution?
Instead of using /opt/oracle as the "oracle" user home, I used /home/oracle
I did not install the libstdc++5 in 32 bit version
I did everything else the same as the posting
Installation resulted in "missing packages". I tried to do an apt-get install for these packages from ubuntu, but ubuntu says that they don't exist.
Then I saw in the instructions:
Once you will reach the "pre-reqs" screen, check "Ignore all" to continue the installation.
When running ./dbca from $ORACLE_HOME/bin, it fails with ORA-12547.
I checked $ORACLE_HOME/network/admin and listener.ora , sqlnet.ora , and tnsnames.ora all look OK.
However, I think that tnsnames.ora is not being read properly, because ./tnsping fails and the error message states that "EZ Connect" was used.
But in my sqlnet.ora , I have
names.directory_lookup = (TNSNAMES,EZCONNECT)
It should use EZ Connect only after tnsnames is tried.
Also, I sometimes get ORA-12541: No listener. I tried running ./netca. Everything is OK until I perform a test on the listener, and it fails.
I can't run ./lsnrctl. Absolutely nothing happens for this, as well as lsnrctl start, stop, status.
I can't go through sqlplus. If I run ./sqlplus , it asks me for username/password directly.
If I do ./sqlplus / as sysdba, then this results in "ORA-12547: TNS lost contact".
All environment variables are set correctly in .bashrc.
I tried re-running root.sh , but the problem is not fixed.
/etc/oratab is OK
/etc/hosts is OK, but I can't always ping the "localhost" or "127.0.0.1", or "ubuntu" or "127.0.1.1"
The same TNS or Listener errors display.
When I login in oracle (sqlplus system/pass as sysdba), I got this:
ERROR:
ORA-12547: TNS :lost contact when try to connect to Oracle.
First, I think the server is down, but I check it, it is OK. And so many body say 'chmod 6751 oracle', I did it, but I got another error:
ERROR:
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
Enter user-name:
finally, I switch the system user from root to oracle. And I login success.
Ensure the DB is up and running and you can connect locally AS SYSDBA to the database
using Oracle binaries owner (usually oracle:oinstall Unix / Linux user). If it does not
work, probably you encounter a different problem.
1. Check privileges of an Oracle file on Unix / Linux host where database is running:
cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
ls -ltr oracle
2. Change permissions as below:
chmod 6751 oracle
ls -ltr oracle
This code may help you lot.
