LinkedIn Old Company Insider - linkedin

Does anyone know how to access the old Company Insider? LinkedIn does not show the old Insider code in the Plugins now.
We have the old Company Insider on our site and need to change it from Popup to 'Always Open'.

That feature is deprecated. You should migrate to the new plugin.

OneTrust Cookie Integration with Wordpress

My company are running some updates on our cookie policy. We were looking into OneTrust's cookie compliance. It seems to be a popular platform when it comes to Privacy and Security.
We've build our site on Wordpress but mainly work with Elementor Website Builder for the development. Coding skills are very basic. Does anyone know if OneTrust provides a plug-in or if they provide a code that generates a cookie banner with consent and preferences that could be easily inserted to the site?
Is anyone familiar with OneTrust and how the integration works on Wordpress?
Any information would help.
Thanks!
If you have set up Google Tag Manager for website then you can use GTM for script integration. Otherwise add the script to the section before any other script.

Sudden Website Title Change and Order Email Notification not Working

I am not sure about my what happened to my site but the site title suddenly change to
+ADw-/title+AD4-Hacked By Mister Spy +ACYAJg Souheyel.+ADw-DIV style+AD0AIg-DISPLAY: none+ACIAPgA8-xmp+AD4
and my order email is not working properly. Anyone got same problem?
Do you think what happened to my site? Any Solution to this?
Ah, the clue is this: "Hacked By Mister Spy".
You got hacked because you are using an old version of WordPress. That's very typical; when running WordPress, keep it and all themes/plugins updated in order to stay safe and secure.
Since version 3.7, WordPress will automatically update itself with security fixes when they are released by WordPress. FYI, these security updates are not full updates to the latest version; they are patches, and you will still see advisories to fully update to the latest full version.
To correctly clean your site and hosting account of the hack, carefully follow https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_My_site_was_hacked .

Website not posting to Facebook: security & app id issues

I'm a new WordPress designer. My site runs Tesseract Theme and is built with Beaver Builder.
PROBLEM: When I post my website (https://louiseclark.tech) on Facebook it removed my site after a couple minutes. Now when I try to post my site it gives me this message--> It looks like a link you're sharing might be unsafe. If you can, please remove this link: louiseclark.tech Note: The unsafe link might be on the page you’re linking to.
What I've done to try and resolve:
When I ran my site through the Facebook debugger I got this message:
The 'fb:app_id' property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.
I created an app id following this instructional video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V97h03H21y0
I pasted my app id into my Yoast SEO plugin under the Facebook category.
Check my Google Webmaster Tools Sitemap...all is verified and sitemap set.
SSL certificate is set - checked with my hosting company SiteGround. When I asked them about this problem they didn't really feel that the security issues where from their side.
I've reported this problem to the black hole that is Facebook support.
Thank you for any insight.
In case anyone sees this thread, I found the solution.
When I moved my WordPress sites to managed WordPress hosting I also migrated my websites to https with the SSL certificates. While the pages were migrated and displaying the https just fine, the images still held their old url (http).
I did two things:
I installed SSL Content Fixer plugin. This worked for some images but not others.
I installed Better Search Replace plugin. I had found the specific insecure images using Firefox. From my page in Firefox, I went to:
Tools -> Page Info -> Media This showed me every image/js/css call on this page. Finding these images allowed me to use the plugin to make the changes.
It worked. I'm quite sure knowing how to code my site would be much better in this situation. But I'm a newbie and this is what I could come up with.
What I learned: It's a flag when you have a secure site that embeds non secure objects/images.

Wordpress site user accounts

I am new to web development. I am trying to build a site using wordpress as a cms. As such i want to know whether there is any way to create user accounts, so that people can register with the site and login. We would have an online store and we would like users to be able to save and view orders.
I have seen buddy press, but it only works with some themes. Is there any other option available?
Thanks in advance,
cpv
You can add one of the free plugins such as "Login Logout". This is the one I am currently using and it lets new users register for accounts.
You need to search for it in your plugins tab in wordpress, then install and activate it. Then you need to go to your Widgets tab and include it. Then it should run on your website.
Yes, Wordpress has user management, I suggest you play around with wordpress to understand how it works. Download a few e-commerce plugins or user management plugins and see how it all works.
Buddy press just uses the same user management that wordpress has.
I'm sure the wordpress documentation is a good place to look for more information.
