I have a strange behavior in a Wordpress site which I develop. Same text element 2 different languages.
My website is in Greek Language but some elements have both English and Greek language.
I use Elementor free. I have set in Settings -> General -> Website language to Greek.
The Theme is Astra.
In every article page, the user can post a comment. The page shows "Post a σχόλιο" where σχολιο is the greek word for comment (In English ισ "Post a comment", in Greek, "Γράψε ένα σχόλιο"). Below the post place has 1 element that is "previous αρθρο" where αρθρο is the greek word for article.
How can I solve this issue?
You can try Loco Translate to add translation to your site.

Is it possible to use the original language for navigation menu? My website language is Chinese Traditional. And I use WPML to translate only post page to English (other page such as homepage remain Chinese Traditional). But After I translate the post to English, the menu also is changed. There are two separate menu for Chinese and English. But I only want to use the Chinese one as the menu. So can I just to translate the post but keep menu unchanged?
I installed qTranslate plugin (qtranslate-Version 2.8.42) for Wordpress.
My default language my website is written in English.
I have configured qTranslate plugin to show three languages on my website, i.e. German, English, and Chinese.
Nevertheless, I want my website to be in German instead of English on the first visit. I mean that although my website is in English I want it to show the German language first when somebody enters my website and NOT the original English language...
Is there any idea on how I could achieve this, please?
Many Thanks!
You probably did not check the qTranslate's option page at Admin panel.
See the marked area. The arrows are for setting the order of language. If you set German at top, it would be primarily selected.
I am using WPML plugin in word press. I have two languages in my site. Main language is English other is Italian.
My account page sidebar is visible only in main language of the site but when i am changing the language from English to Italian, the default sidebar is not visible in "Italian" Language.
Please suggest something, how can i resolve this issue?
I got the fix. Just posting here in case anyone face the same issue.
The issue was that, i was translating the slug of the my-account page in Italian language. Due to this the sidebar was not working. When i renamed the slug back to my-account then it works.
I don't know why it was not working with the translated slug but i fixed it in this way.
Does anyone now how can i use [:en]text[:fr]other text in the Title Attribute: option so when i am on the english version of site to show just the english text in the title attribute of the link and when i am on the french version to show only the french text, at this moment it shows both like this example:
[:en]text[:fr]other text
There are some problems with qTranslate and All-in-one SEO, because of the way they handle the title. I have not found a solution for this, but you can try to:
